The only thing wrong with team is the DFm role a top striker and someone who could cross the ball we have good dribbling players but the crosses are weak for me

De Bruyne has a fantastic cross on him, and is constantly looking to quickly get the ball into the box, so i'd have to disagree

Sell your goalkeeper and buy cech

With Van Ginkel, Essien and Rami our dm should be fine. A clinical finisher could help with Ba going out.

And what is the reason eds for mandatory registration? {Ed018's Note -it has shown to weed out alot of the rubbish}

Who do you guys think we will sign if we fail to get the one they call sherk? Will Nando, Ba and Lukaku be enough? There isn't a awful lot out there. I'm sure Nando is going to stay, Ba will more than likely go. The only other player I would go for instead of Rooney would be El Shaarawy, just don't know if he is a Jose type player.

What's your thoughts guys?

There's been talk of Yilmaz but not much lately so who knows what's happening with that. With just playing the one up top I think 3 strikers will do. If Rooney etc came in Ba could be on his way.

I think we will get Rooney, United are faced with a decreasing asset, who is unhappy at the club and allegedly, other United players feel it is disrupting the club and players.

It's a no brainer, Rooney, Bale and Suarez will leave.
Torres and Ba I would replace yesterday, simply not good enough.

I would have Lukaku, Rooney and possibly Yilmaz and get Khedira for DM.

I think the first half team last night was absolutely class, it's starting to look like we're getting the old Essien back too! Oscar and KDB were outstanding, Hazard good as always.

The second half team looked good, the confed cup guys look like they need a bit more game time to get back to peak peformance.
It wasn't the best I've seen Mata play, mikel was mikel, Torres is looking hungry which is good to see, Schurrle was recovering from illness but he's going to be quality - fantastic technique for the goal!

All in all it was a good game, hopefully we can beat Madrid and carry the momentum into the season.

Is looking very good. I think ramires is going to flourish under mourinho. I'm glad Essien is back with us. If we sign khedira that will spell the end of Mikel. Which I think is not a bad thing. I think mata, hazard, Oscar, de bruyne need to show abit more aggression in a tackle though, which they have been working on. I can understand it is pre season though. Looking very bright though,

For the last poster, the only one of those four who needs to increase his work rate on defense is Mata, the others imo already put in a decent shift. I would also add Ba to that list, of all our strikers he seems to be the laziest on defense.

I have a feeling MVG, Lukaku, Oscar, KDB and Moses will play a huge part this season.

Up CFC we vitually have to teams, each capable of beating Manchester United from what I see today against Milan we look solid in midfeild and lethal on wings and on counter attack, to sum it all there is only one change needed, another striker for torres, Ba is allright for a Back up, don't need another midfeilder certainly not now. Want do you think fellow Fans.

Chelsea has only one serious title rival and that is MC.

I would take Khedira or Gustavo over Mikel

I agree with u Ness but I'm not sure I would start either of those two over Essien or Van Ginkel at this point because of their work rate on defense.

Torres seems hungry, maybe realised lukaku is out playing him at the moment.
