Apparently on another Chelsea supporters site there is a vote taking place about who should be our manager for next season. Conte has got twice as many votes as any other potential candidate.
I have to say that comes as a surprise to me!

Conte and his family have obviously been voting on that site all night! Conte has the time cos he hasn't been doing any coaching and half the the team won't talk to him!

MDW: What is the problem, Conte or the players? Unless your manager is woeful which Conte is not then it is the players who are the biggest culprits. These players are, in some cases, grossly overpaid prima donnas who forget they are employed and paid by Chelsea FC not the other way around.

I'm not just surprised but worried that many guys in here don't rate Conte anymore. Firstly I feel we seem shift blame for our season only on Conte even when he forewarn the club of the implications of not investing properly on players who will upgrade rather than just replacing the departing ones. Yet the club's sudden parsimony meant that we bought more quantity than quality players. Many of these new players where not even available for selection in the first few months of the season. So I personally put much that blame on the board.
Moreso I'm still to see a better option than Conte among all the names being speculated atm. Conte only needed re-enforcement in squad to continue to build on the massive feat he achieved last season. I believe he's a winner and would bring not just success in trophies but also in much elusive stability we all crave.
In addition, some big players didn't turn up for the season. Hazard, Pedro, Fab, etc are classic example. It's obvious Hazard and Courtois have other things on mind except commitment to Chelsea and I think it is time up for them.
Keeping players against their will is counter productive, not when there other good players wishing for the shirt. In essence we need some clearance and replaced with quality players with demonstrable dedication or we risk being a sleeping giant.
Sorry for the long post but we all have different opinions on how to make our dear Chelsea the best club in the world.

Why didn't Conte extend his contract last year he took the pay rise
I think this sent a big message to players whether it's board or Contes fault
I just think both sides have fallen out and it's affected whole club
That was never a battle Conte can win I guess he is a head strong winner who wants more power i. e transfers but when your boss is a head strong winner who doesn't want to relinquish power it will only finish one way
Question for the eds it is obviously a massive issue at Chelsea the transfer policy . why don't the club let the manager have more say or control
I think it is quite obvious the last four seasons the club have bought a hell of lot of players the then manager had no interest in which in its self is a waste of money and sends out the wrong message to someone managing a team even as a head coach you can't turn sh1t into caviar no matter how much you coach them.
{Ed001's Note - because the club don't want a situation where the coach goes and the new man comes in and wants ten new players. They are there to coach what they are given and should just get on with it, like they do at many other clubs.}

Doesn’t matter conte still picked wrong players he had available mostly Moses who’s terrible.
