I've heard even Lampard may leave. . . Giggs and scholes never left united. . .
SHAKTI_KAPOOR {Ed001's Note - United have huge crowds which give them a huge income for the FFP rulings, they can afford to carry players that only play some games. Plus neither Giggs or Scholes are on anything like as much as Lampard. Also neither of them have a recent history of serious injuries unlike Lampard. Not every player can carry on playing at the top level all their career.}

Frank Lampard will have one more season, with the Blues. But with the financial restrictions imposed on transers soon, Abramovich is keen to do most of the signings this summer.
Pastore from Palermo is still the number one long term replacement for 'Lamps', but other possibilities are Hamsik from Napoli and Fellani from Everton.
Chelsea are trying to pull out all the stops to bring Neymar in this summer, even if it means loaning back to Santos for a season, otherwise Chelsea realize Madrid or Barcelona will lure him away. .
With doubts over Kalou and Malouda, Payet from St.Ettiene and Pato from Milan are targets this summer.
Chelsea also believe a deal will be done for Ajax right-back Van der Wiel and they are also considering another center-back. With Bruma expected to go back out on loan, Mancienne sold, and long term injury concerns over Alex and JT. Offers could be made for Subbotic of Dortmund or Mexes from Roma.
If Carlo is still at the helm next season, then Pirlo on a free will happen. Not just for expereience in big games, but as a sounding board on the training ground. .someone he can talk to which he feels he hasn't got since the departure of Wilkins.

So my guess is that after tery and lampard and torres drogba would be the highest earner so logical to let him leave

Lampard has ben a fantastic player and I will be gutted to see him leave, I can't see a replacment for him he has scored vital goals and up untill this season never got injured, yes his wages are high but they are high for a reason. {Ed002's Note - But he is also of an age where a replacement needs to be sought. Injuries are taking their toll and Chelsea do not have anyone who can step up to take over. I would expect to see a replacement this summer, perhaps next if no one can be found. Pastore and Ganso have been looked at. Gourcuff has also been looked at, as has Dzagoev. The club are certainly serious about finding a replacement.}
I agree we need to replace him but surely it would be benificial to both parties if he stayed one more season maybe like giggs and scholes. As we found out this season culling the squad although needed has cost us the league. If we find a replacment this summer they could bring him in gradually rather than throw him straight in like we had to do with Ramires.
{Ed002's Note - In the perfect world yes, and that may happen. But remember taht he is costing the club a good deal of money. Wages, o/h, insurance etc for the player cost the club around £8M a season for Lampard alone.}

I don't know if anyone else on here watches brazilian football but i do and i think buying neymar would be a huge waste of money, he has a poor attitude and goes down far too easily, i think we should just buy aguero and ganso
