Forget no.9 watch out for lfc no.7. I will guarantee saurez scores 1st goal on sunday. Gerrard will get the second (penalty). 2-0. Tell rom to stick about 1 mill on it may win back the money use lost, then use might be allowed to buy some players in the summer. Maybe use won't need to buy any with all them amazing youngsters coming through. 100million youth development and not one gets into the team use are a joke.

Will Torres start for Chelsea?

how likely is it that he gets full 90minutes

{Editor's Note: I would guess he will come off the bench after 68 minutes, 12 seconds.}

Lol. . I wasn't even responding to you, I was making general comment. But since you wrote such an eloquent response, I will respond now anyway.

1. I know you are not disillusioned. Disillusionment and delusional are two totally different things. Check the dictionary.

2. I didn't even think your response was delusional, to be honest. It was more the 'Judas' brigade that I was referring to. However, arguing that he should have gone to Barcelona is a bit fantasy. Barcelona are not insanely rich. It seems that Laporta was running around spending money like no-ones business while he was in charge. No way would you have got £50m for Torres from them now.

4. I think its was quite obvious that Torres wanted out way before 1st January. As Benitez came out with today, you could have probably got a lot more for him had he been sold earlier.

5. I didn't say that you were not entitled to your comments. Its a message board. It would be pretty bland without comments.

My main 'gripe' is that, yes, Torres may have handled the transfer request inappropriately, but there needs to be a sense of realism. This is modern football, the power rests with the players. Why should Liverpool supporters expect some brand of loyalty from players just because it is Liverpool?

Get over it.

To say after rush was kicked out of liverpool, your side played pretty much the best football seen in the top flight is crazy. You were a good side ( not great), because you kept the ball, playing sideways football.
Your football was based on your defensive record.
This is why people refer to liverpool & it's supporters has arrogant, because of harping back to when you used to be a force in the game & then telling everybody that you are special & we should agree. Sorry, but most supporters disagree with you.

Me too, can't wait for the match too. .Always look forward to Chelsea away, few beers on the Kings road pre match. .

You need to take a step back and read my comments, I am not disillusioned , not in the slightest. I have made some very valid points and entitled to do so. If you think that the way Torres handled the transfer was correct then more fool you. Had he said on the 1st Jan "I want out " then fair enough. I think that's the main gripe.

I am in fact very pleased with the 50m for a player who on the whole plays half a season and is extreemly injury prone. I've been a season ticket holder at Anfield for many years and have seen this before when we sold Rush to to Juve. This enabled us to bulid a team that played some of the best football the league has ever seen.

Our future is bright, we may not be able to roll out millions as Roman can but we will have funds avaliable to strenghten in the summer.

So don't reply giving all this s**te about being disillusioned when you don't know what you're talking about. Chelsea are a good side but not a great side. . Not yet anyway

Can't wait till Torres has his debut on Sunday so all the Liverpool whining that has infected this board can stop.

He has left, for a lot of money, to a team that on its day is very very good. All this sanctimonious 'he was Liverpool through and through' and all that is such tosh. He was Atletico Madrid (which was his boyhood club) 'through and through' and left them so why should he be expected to be a Liverpool player for life?!

Liverpool fans are delusional.

You got a good deal. Now get over it already and move on.

I had a feeling Torres would be off, ever since Martin Broughton was employed with the task of selling our club, a known, self confessed Chelsea fan, the writting was on the wall.I think he turned his head last summer. .

Torres gave us a couple of good years but I have to say the way he conducted himself was very unproffessional. To hand in a transfer request 3 days before the deadline day was very disappointing, he has shown his true colours.

I don't think his motivation was just trophy driven, as Chelsea, by their current standards are well below par. They have also thrown millions at the team yet still have not won the big prize in Europe?

What the endless millions does do for you though is give you the capability to lift the premiership crown, you only need to look at Blackburn for instance. . .United have always done it, Chelsea since the oil tycoon took over and now City. .

Champions league thoguh is a different kettle of fish. . As proved by the lack of success by Chelsea. . .There are bigger clubs in Europe doing exactle the same thing. Barcelona are by far the more superior and biggest team in Europe. So with this in mind, why did Torres join a team that may not even reach the Champions League next year let alone win it?

If he wants Champions league success he so categorically states and craves, If you want to move to a BIG club then surely the flight to Catalonia would have been the obvious choice.

With a 300K a month payrise plus sign on fees etc, maybe the real truth is not that far away ?

This is not a dig Chelsea fans, just my opinion
