Ed002 Do you know if there is any truth in the club considering floating 50% of the club in Asia to raise funding for squad/stadium development?
Thanks {Ed002's Note - Which club?}

why does Cech keep giving interviews in the newspaper , saying things like we got to cut out the mistakes , especially when he was beat at his inside post x 3 on Saturday. Cech please take my advice stop giving interviews and and concentrate on goalkeeping practice , because as far as I can see , your talking the the but not walking the walk ! {Ed002's Note - He answers questions that are put to him - that is all.}

Alrite guys

Looking at our current team and the style of football AVB is trying to play i think and i believe im not alone that there are certain players that either dont have the required ability or are a shadow of there former selves and should be moved on this January or in the summer.

This would then allow us to bring in players suitable to the style of play we are moving towards and oviously reinforce the squad with some new young talent.

Out January -

Solomon Kalou - £7m (Simply just isnt of a standard that is required to be playign for Chelsea)

Nicolas Anelka - £4 (I still think Anelka is a good player and would rather he play over Kalou & Malouda any day but due to his contract being up we need to cash in on him asap as he does not want a contract extension)

Jose Bosingwa - £12m (One of the best attacking fullbacks in the Prem if not the world but defensively he is sub par and its as simple as that)

In January -

David Hoilett - £12m (Exciting young RW/LW/CAM from Blackburn, i see him as a raw Juan Mata with less creative ability but more pace and dribbling flair. He is the exact type of player 1. That we are missing in the squad and 2. That would be suitably priced to replace Kalou and Anelka, i have valued him at £12m due to him having 6 months left on his contract in January)

Gregory Van Der Weil - £18m (The best of both worlds, the attacking ability of Jose Bosingwa but the defensive ability to match it, we have been tracking him for some time and i do believe now should be the time to buy this class RB)

Kevin De Bruyne - £9m (Very technically gifted with a good aray of passing and shooting ability, i suggest we buy him this winter then loan him back to Genk until the summer so he can continue his development)

Josh McEachran - Loan (He is going to become a very good player in the future but at his age it is crucial he keeps developing, a loan to a prem club would be ideal for all parties involved)

SUMMER 2012

Out -

Hilario - £500,000 (He is our 3rd choice keeper, i say get rid to 1. Promote a reserve team GK and 2. Free up a non home grown quota space)

Alex - £8m (A solid and reliable CB who wants to move to Juventus or Bayern Munich for the later stages of his career, good deal for all parties once again)

Florent Malouda - £6m (A very good crosser of the ball but unfortuantly thats about it, he seems to have lost his ball retension skills and pass and as a winger thats never a good sign)

Didier Drogba - Free (A true Blue legend but he doesnt look like the same Didier Drogba anymore :( allow him to see out his contract and go back to Marseille for the end of his career, Drogba is wanting a 2yr extension which is madness to me, he is 33yrs old and on £120k a week)

IN

Marc Hummels - £25m to £35m (The best young CB in the world in my opinion, he isnt a rock, he is a wall in defense, a power defender and does everything right, the long term successor of John Terry and in my opinion a better option than Subotic. Its going to take at least £25m+ to buy him but his age and potential show this is definately a price worth paying)

Mario Gotze - £34m ( Once again in my opinion the best young CM in the world, he is an assist machine with quick feet and a eye for goal, his creativity and distribution skills are exactly what our slow tempo team need and would be the natural successor of Frank Lampard. Talents like him and the man to follow come round every 5 years, we cant let him slip by)

Eden Hazard - £32m + Malouda/Benayoun (My favourite player for the last 2 years, his dribbling ability is outstanding and with the ball at his feet he is one of the best footballers in the world without a shadow of a doubt. Lille want to sell, eden has said this is his last season, Real look to be getting Neymar which should allow us to be the front runners for Hazard)

Summary -

This is in my opinion the perfect scenario for Chelsea not just for the present but for the club over the next 5-10yrs. When looking at the ins and outs there is about a £100m outlay when buying these players in comparison to the money coming in and yes i no this is a huge amount of money BUT we would be set up for the next 5 years. We wouldnt need to go into the transfer market again for any big money moves, all we would be spending transfer fee's on is talented youth players and recruiting youth team players from other clubs such as the Islam Feruz or Davilla Ulias purchases which are 2m/3m respectively.

All these players listed are under 22 and in comparison to some players that would be leaving for example Anelka 33, Drogba 33, Alex 29 they represent the future, plus you have to players ready to take over from to of our greatest players John Terry 31 and Lampard 33.

These players listed are also very technically gifted and play fast up tempo football such of the style that AVB is trying to implement at Chelsea atm.

Will this happen probably not, do we have the finances and club power that could buy these players certainly.

2012 Team -

Cech

VDW Hummels Terry Cole

Ramires

Gotze Mata

Hazard Torress Hoilett

Subs 1. Courtoius 2. Ivanovic 3. Luiz 4. Oriol
5. Lampard 6. Sturridge 7. Lukaku

Essien (2 ACL injuries may be to much to recover from and he is 29 now, i dont no how much longer he will be able to play at the highest level)

Mikel (A very solid average player, i wouldnt sell him unless Oriol develops into the player i think he will, i would suggest keeping Mikel till the summer of 2013 depending on Oriols development and Essiens fitness)

Miereles (Ive been presently surprised with how well he has played this season but in the long term future i dont see him being the future of our team)

When Lampard retires this will bring an oppotunity for De Bruyne or McEachran on the bench being a rotation player for Mata and/or Gotze

Without us spending a large ammount of cash, we are going to slip down the league and start failing to qualify for the champions league. I agree with most of the above, up until january of this year we had allowed the team to stagnate, the club have spent a hell of a lot bringing in players but we should have been looking for replacments for the long term several years ago and not once it became clear age and the teams around us had caught up, we never replaced Robben or Duff and have lacked that flair since. Utd are constantly bringing in players and are not affraid to let there bigger players leave if they get the right price or when they are no longer at the top of there games. Some of our players Lamps, Terry and Drogba were some of the best in the world in there respective positions, time has caught up or is catching up with them and we seem to have made no or very little effort to find replacments. Yes we have bought in some decent players but we are still short, we have very little depth to the squad. I hope we are busy in January and over the summer.

Agree5 Disagree0

I agree with most of your points but I would go with;
IN:
Gregory Van Der Wiel-15-20m
Kevin De Bruyne-8-12m
Junior Hoilett-8-12m
Lucas Moura-25-35m

Out:
Kalou-5-8m?
Alex-8m
Bosingwa-10m
McEachran (Loan to Swansea or Bolton)

Summer:
IN:
Subotic/Hummels (Both great)-20-30m
Eriksen/Hamsik-I would love Gotze but really don't see it happening. These two are both Lampard-esque players with fantastic vision. Eriksen has more potential of the two but Hamsik is a proven player.

OUT:
Anelka-Free
Drogba-Free
Hilario-Free
Benayoun-4m
Ferriera-Free

I think we should keep Malouda but convert him to a central midfielder where he can use his vision and passing ability to open up the play for the forwards.
Scotty.

Modric van Persie hazard, that would be brilliant for us, then get rid of kalou malouda and Anelka is certain to go anyway,

Hi ed is there any truth in the Pato rumours it has been suggested an offer of €39 million would be accepted

Ian {Ed002's Note - I don't know what Pato rumours there are, but if someone were to offer £39M for a player who has been struggling with injury then I am sure Milan would sell.}
