the simple thing is . we went 2-1 up. and was into injury time. we should have seen the game out. dropping deep didn't help. your inviting pressure and opportunities for the other side.
nothing to do with Conte. they are well paid professional players they are not stupid.

player wise.
Fab needs to go. to slow and doesn't offer anything defending.

yes agree with everyone Morata was poor tonight. sell or get rid no. he's 24 and can be a complete striker once he brushing up. on. his finishing. remember it's his first season in English football. he's doesn't get the same time. on. the ball. as he did in Italy or Spain. he will get used to the speed. he. got a good head on him, links. up well and gets into theses position which yes granted he should score. he's quick and can hold the ball. up too. let's give a chance long with Bakayoko and. Zappacosta.

Said this a while a go that Morata just needs time. People are expecting a finished product with him eventhough this is his first year in the Prem and his first year of being a starter. And it's the exact same with Bakayoko. Everything in Morata's game is great besides his composure and that'll be something he will hopefully improve on in time. It doesn't help when his confidence is shot and majority of the fans are at him after every chance he misses. Modern day football fans can truely be the worst, very little backing to their own players when they need it most. It's fine to criticise him but the constant overreaction is pathetic. Just give the lad time instead of calling for change when things don't go his way. However we do clearly need a back up striker or IMO another top striker to play alongside Morata to help take the pressure off.

Moratta had already scored more goals than Drogba did in his first season.

Moratta had been a superb signing and will offer another 6/ 7 years.

It is understandable that we jump on Morata because he is missing chances that he shouldn't but I think he is adjusting to how quick EPL defenders are on him and each miss is sapping his confidence. On the plus side he brings forward heading ability we have sorely lacked, his movement is superb and takes defenders away from Hazard and usually his passing and touches are excellent;he is reminding me a bit 'at the moment' of Torres! On the down side he has got to stand up more, all this falling over Spanish style is getting him nowhere. Criticise Morata and we have to mention Hazard; minus the penalties he is playing superbly but where are the goals?

Brush up on finishing in my eyes you either have it or you don’t Morata is good at finishing when he doesn't have to think about it. I think bats would of put all them away tho he’s not as good for Chelsea as what Morata is in terms of all round play.

Give him more than a split second to think what his doing and he folds. 3 sitters, smh, before season I said his a CF and has all the great play but lacks finishing. Then after his start I thought I was wrong but unless it’s onto his head he struggles, 2 v stoke 1 on 1 and 3 today. feels like a loss, need a killer in front of goal.

I was the first to defend him against stoke but they was clear cut chances he needs to bury. Bakayoko can not play in them big games he was so poor I do think he will become good just needs games against the lesser teams and play Drinkwater against the big teams.

Everyone slating morata and his "lack of finishing with his feet". The Stoke game, two great saves from Butland.

Last night, just wasn't to be for him. Strikers have them.

Short memories considering the superb second during hat trick against Stoke, even his first in that game was a great finish.

The guy will score goals for us, no doubt.

This transfer window I am hoping we sign Alex Sandro given that Juventus are now willing to sell. It would be dissapointing if we had missed out to a rival. I think we will get this one.

Lemar would be great but i find it unrealistic. I can't see us spending that much unless MB is offered the other way. Hopeful but seems unlikely.

Lucas Moura is available. He had a brilliant season last year and i would take him. What do you guys think?

A lot of rumours on Boakye. Never heard of the guy, is he the answer to MB? Preferably for me it would be Sanchez but seems unlikley.

Sandro has probably gone elsewhere now, I expect, Chelsea will need to move sharpish to get him if they intend to sign him. I get the impression they have decided not to.

Lemar I don't expect you would pay the money right now.

I am not a fan of Lucas Moura, he is fast but has terrible end product more often than not. If he was 21 or under, yes, but I don't see him improving enough to be worth Chelsea signing him.

Boakye is highly rated but I have never seen him play so can't comment on whether you should buy him or not.

Sanchez should be a must buy or Ozil even to replace Cesc. He works harder than he is given credit for and has a wand of a left foot.}

Damn, I suppose Alex Sandro is joining PSG. Dissapointing to say the least and Chelsea should act. I think he would have been ideal for us. Fair enough he hasn't played much but he is 26 and class doesn't go overnight.

You can't really compete with PSG, even Citeh are going to struggle with that, which should be interesting as Abu Dhabi are at a very serious loggerheads with Qatar so would hate to be beaten in the Champions League by them.}

I agree, I can't see us competing with PSG and especially with how things have changed with how Chelsea do their transfers these days.

If you want you to sign the very best calibre players then we have to compete with big teams.

I’d pay the huge wages given the transfer fees for ozil and Sanchez, then Telles If sandro has gone, big window for us I think. Especially if city are investing to an already well oiled machine, do we know if Dortmund are still requesting silly money for aubameyang given problems his had and age?
