Possible debate, ed001 id like your and other eds' opinions. 01 said that Sarri likes a big target man, was wondering what sort striker you think Chelsea need, we have a target man in Giroud, who links up play but doesn't score enough, morata. I don't know what sort striker he is anymore, at Napoli he had Insigne Mertens and callerjon, and preciously Higuaín who is your number 9, links and gets in box, I wasn't sure what path he would go down if he would like hazard and 2 wide forwards to interchange like last season or and icardi / immobile who come alive around 18 yard but won't be holding ball up and getting others to build up with them, or Mitrovic who would hold ball up then try get into the area who could come on leaps and bounds like Higuaín did, I like the icardi immobile types but if we have got the creative players they could go without any service and go missing,

{Ed001's Note - Sarri had those players but the one he went out and bought was Milik, but he had injury problems which kept him out. So that is the kind of player you have to look at, big but mobile, like a Dzeko type of player.}

Nice one cheers ed, surprising as the 3 small quick technical players done so well under him. As long as we get the right, right forward, who would you thinks best suited.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I know, I don't understand some of Sarri's thinking, but his ideas do seem to work. Personally I think the more fluid, smaller forward is better suited, but I would have to say someone like Mitrovic would suit his chosen system well.}

Any chance of Lewandowski actually moving on this summer Ed? He has talked a lot about leaving before.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - always a chance as Bayern need a rebuild and will likely have to sacrifice some players to do so.}

Hi Ed001; thinking the same thing about Mitrovic. He can be a good player in a team like Chelsea- he can hold up play very well and bring others into play, very good aerially, can score goals if you give him the supply.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - still young enough to improve as well.}

What about that Polish striker from Genoa? Still has an incredible goals per game ratio playing for mid-table (relegation) team in Italy.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I have only seen highlights of him, so no idea if he is actually any good or just on a hot streak of luck.}

Yea Ed001; you seem to know and analyse Chelsea very well. Cheers and have a good day.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate. I appreciate that.}

We were following Mitrovic before he came to Newcastle - why didn't we buy him then at a fraction of the price that we would have to pay now!?

One thing Arsenal has what we clearly lack is two top strikers, both Laca and Auba are better than our current players upfront.

Think we have missed the boat with Auba, he is trully amazing striker.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - why is he amazing? He scores goals but he has a first touch that rivals Lukaku's in its looseness. He costs them chance after chance because of it, as the play breaks down the moment the ball gets to him. He is a better version of Loic Remy, where his only real use is if you sit deep and hit it over the top for him to run onto. Chelsea do not really play that way under Sarri, they dominate the ball and need a striker who can link up play.}

Who do you think would be our best option Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Lacazette would be a better option. However Sarri likes a big target man, so you need someone along the lines of Mitrovic.}

I like Mitrovic but feel he’s a back up striker at best. He won’t fire us to the title.

Ed001 I may not have watched as many aubemeyang games as you but I think you may be being harsh on him in my opinion. He’s a great scorer and his touch is not that bad from what I’ve seen. He links well, quality finisher and has lightning pace. BIg fan of him but just my opinion of course.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he is a terrible link player, which is why he is often played out wide so he doesn't need to get involved in linking up play. It is no coincidence that Dortmund have improved massively since offloading him. He is inconsistent as a finisher too, but he does keep getting in good positions, he just needs to be better on the ball.}
