We will have definietly some activities in january transfer window

F. Torres is again facing some rough time after good start to the season
if he performs well in next two months untill january transfer window chelseafc will keep him as first choice alone striker
but if he fails to make any goal scoring impact till january he not only will loose his place in starting XI but might even push him out of our team as team will prepare to sell him
only thing i am afraid is we will not get much money on him and there will be very few teams who would take him because of his recent performances and his wage demands

about D. Sturridge
lot will depend if he signs new contract before january
if he does not then we will sell him in january instead of letting him go for free in next summer

about R. Lukaku
he will not join us back in january if we keep both f. torres and d. sturridge and sign another new striker
if torres or sturridge leaves then i am sure lukaku will get a call back even though we sign another new striker

r. falcao:
not a chelsea fc player but we are always linked with this striker
after seeing atletico performing this season i am afraid atletico will let go falcao in january even though we pay his release clause of 46m
and falcao himself will want to continue with atletico untill summer
which means there is little chance of signing falcao in january, hard to say but its true

so if that will be the case i think we will go for much cheaper yet proven goal scorer in january
someone like huntellar, llorente and we might offer them 2-3 yrs contract
both will come much cheaper taking into consideration that they will have just 6 months left on their contract and are reluctant to extend it with their respective clubs

even though now we are signing much younger talented players i guess we will go for experince and goal scoring record for striking role

i personally expect
IN JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW:
out- d. sturridge

in-lukaku(back from loan)
new striker(falcao/huntellar/llorente)

Tbh i'd prefer getting Robert Lewandowski over the Strikers your pointing out.

Agree2 Disagree0

I can't see Lukaku getting recalled Samrat. The whole reason we loaned him out was to gain experience and get first team football. If he was recalled he wouldn't be a starter, and it would only hinder his progress.

I would replace hazard with Oscar coz he only had 60 mins of the game

Agree1 Disagree0

Hazard is far more assertive though mate, and can control a game on his own. Whereas Oscar could go missing, not having the connection of Juan and Eden on the pitch. It isn't like he played 90 mins more than Oscar either.

Melbourne CFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I put Hazard in there, as those 4 front-men are very fast and will give Carrick, who I presume will play center back tonight a tough test.

Also Piazon should come on, but its big opposition and his inexperience may come up against him.

Watching la liga revisita and they were talking bout falcao, talking how in previous years he has been on left or right and gone anywhere to get ball but this Since he been at athletico he works the box, doesn't drop deep for ball and moves across box etc, with mata Oscar hazard he would be perfect, not out wide crossing balls or dropping deep for ball? And he gets headers tap ins long shots free kicks, I was fan of him at Porto but if say he is perfect for us and thought of him in our team is mouth watering

Another point (sorry but still fuming about this) - If he is saying that he knew there was contact but thought Torres made the most of it, trying to make it seem like more contact than there was, thus he was still trying to con him...

Undoubtedly there was contact between Ivanovic and Young - but was that contact enough to send Young sprawling to the floor, or was he trying to con the ref?

Is there a new referee coaching area at St Georges? There needs to be one!!

Just get over it. there will be more controversy wednesday.

Agree5 Disagree3

Its boring now sureworld ,let it, go move on ,

Agree3 Disagree3

Not really because Torres knocked the ball to far and wouldn't of got there in front of Ferdinand. Ashley young was through on goal and the ball was at his feet.

Hey eds, what's your opinions on David luiz this season? Read a few articles saying he is eratic and a liability at the back! The few times I have seen him he has had his good moments but more than his fair share of bad ones too. Do you think that he can improve his game and become a world class centre half? Cheers Jim 132 {Ed002's Note - He has been fine.}

I loved FIFA's sense of humour. Biscuits, Pique and Balotelli are shortlisted for Ballon d' or ,Yet David Silva, Mata, Kompany, Ribery, Cech are not included in the list. anybody got any idea on what basis these players are shortlisted?

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Mainly on class and loyalty. I believe any players who are at a club purely because they are mercenaries weren't included.
Cheers

cozinoz

Agree2 Disagree1

Balotelli loyal and class? are you having a laugh?

Agree0 Disagree2

Cozinoz was merely making the point for why no Liverpool players were included.

Melbourne CFC

Agree2 Disagree2

You're right Melbourne, I guess that's what the class was for-something all Liverpool players lack.

Team for Wednesday

Turnball

Azpilicueta Ivanovic Terry Bertrand

Romeu Mikel

Moses Hazard Marin

Sturridge

Seen as Ivan or Terry can't play Saturday they should start wednesday and I think Oscar mata Ramires cole need a full 90 minutes rest

Piazon and torres should be used as subs because Torres is banned from the premier league game

Believable0 Unbelievable5

As its the league cup does this not count as there one game ban?

Agree2 Disagree0

Terry is still banned, it's a FA competition. I think Torres and Ivan serve their bans which is a bonus.
