Quick point, RLC and Barkley both played 90 minutes yesterday, same position, same team but RLC had largely more of an impact in just about every section of the game, now I’m by no means saying we should all judge who should start based on one game all I’m saying is why can’t RLC have a run of games in the side like Barkley has had?! What does he have to do to have a decent chance?!

Exactly what I think he’s impressed when played let’s give him a run.

Same arguments, same subject, RLC. This has been going on 3 years possibly. IMO he is good going forward, but he is poor defensively and his work rate is and I’m being polite poor. He just does not work hard enough. We have one worthy free spirit in Hazard. We don’t have the luxury of having one in midfield. In defence is where both Barkley and Kovacic are in front of RLC. Which is why he won’t get a run in the team. This is not just the opinion of Sarri it was the 2=3 managers prior, they can’t all be wrong.
Everyone at CFC including me wants RLC to tep up. But I just don’t think it will happen and he will leave for a middle of the table team, if you hadn’t noticed the top teams aren’t queuing up for him.

They both had 90 minutes which means Kovacic will most likely start against Fulham.

I must have been watching a different game on Thursday night - apart from a surging run in the 2nd half, I thought RLC was anonymous for the rest of the game (and this was against a weak team with 10 players! ) .

One thing that impressed me most with CHO last night was his playmaking sometimes he made the wrong choice but his pass through for Giroud to nearly score was class. His best asset I thought last night though was his crossing he put one on a plate for Morata and darted one in for Giroud which he nearly got on the end of. He's not just pace and dribbling this lad is also a quality passer and crosser of the ball and his energy levels till about the 70th minute mark pressing from the front was very good too.

I have to agree, we've got two of the best headers of the ball, in morata and Giroud and I think we don't cross the ball enough.

Callym Hudson-Odoi. The guy is the real deal. Against PAOK nevertheless, heaven shown he can be a good option for us. Let’s hope he gets more chances to keep Willian and Pedro on their feet. Bring on Fulham.
