Truly hope something can be done for our and Girouds sake. It'd be very harsh to keep Giroud and potentially ruin his chances of going to the Euros since he's been nothing but a great professional ever since he's arrived. Although if the player we were to bring in is clearly no better than Giroud i'd rather try him as our 2nd choice ST.

I would really be a shame if he cannot get a move, which he really seems to want. Especially since he already seemed a bit hesitant to stay before the summer where we exercised our option to extend his contract.
He will not go down in history as our best striker, but he sure did play a huge part of us getting into this season's Champions League as first seeded.
I'm not one who really follows the academy, but isn't there a guy called Broja who's supposedly really good? Do you think he would be an adequate backup for Tammy and Michy if Oli gets to leave?

Was stated on here a while ago that he wants Athletico. Will probably stay until the summer then they'll sign him. Would like to see us try and get him one last time if possible though.

If we fail to sign anyone, Lampard might as well just come out of Retirement and play as our Player/ Manager. I'm sure he could still score more than some of our current players!

to be honest I'm glad we haven't signed the vast majority of players we have been linked to. With the exception of, Werner, Ake and Sancho no one would be a marked improvement really.

Me too to some degree. Werner dembele sancho are the ones I was excited for, not all of them obviously, but on other hand we need additions, I worry for top 4 which in turn affects signings in summer, needs pulisic back, James back, RLC back ( if he’ll ever be fit ) and we need to be clinical in front of goal, we start scoring and the defence maybe won’t look so nervous,

As Lampard has said as well - it's got to be the right deal that the club makes, and we should all be happy that we haven't been repeating deals like the one with Djiloboudji, Zappacosta, Drinkwater or Pato. In my opinion, very few of the players we're linked to are better than what we've already got.
Of course it's always nice to see exciting players join the club, but I think all in all it has been decent :)

Scratch Piatek off the list - seemingly going to Germany.
We don't need to panic, shouldn't be looking to stretch for options d, e, f etc. Only real quality will help us between now and the end of the season, if we can't get that then we should stick with what we've got.
