ED002 AVB has said that personal terms with Cahill are 'Miles' away is there a problem? or is he just playing down the situation? as you have said dont read much into his interviews? Also ED 2 leading portugese papers have said Chelsea may bid for Hulk? is this true? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea, and care even less, about the state of negotiations over his package to be honest. I don't know why you cannot grasp what I have said about not reading too much in to what he says and still keep asking me about it. I have already answered a question about Hulk.}

i could be wrong but im getting the impression that AVB doesnt really want gary cahill at chelsea, just reading his interview on the chelsea website and he doesnt come across as enthusiastic about the situation, prehaps im picking up wrong

ED(s) is it AVB who decides on the players he would like to bring in or the powers that be? or is it a collective effort? {Ed002's Note - Broadly it is a collective effort. I cannot stress enough not to read too much in to any interviews AVB does.}

The last few years we haven't done well in transfer window. Wither panic buying or leaving it to late, it's not evem January and AVB is talking to Gary Cahill and Chelsea already been in talks with Madrid about higuain so things looking better for this window.. I feel a top midfielder is a priority to, moutinho goatze modric(I wish) snijder

Ed, can you share any light on our strategy and forward planning? What I mean is that didn't anyone in the club know we would be in this situation back in the summer when they were plenty of opportunities to sign quality players? Now we are stuck with what we have got until next summer because not a lot will happen in January, let's face it. Surely, this is poor planning and foresight and I would expect some consequences too. {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about. Sorry.}

do chelsea fans actually think higuain wud do gud here i have my doubts as expensive goalscorers dont normally do well here eg torres,shevcheko we dont create alot 4 strikers dats y drogba used 2 b so important bcos he created chances himself whereas higuain seems like a striker who needs chances created 4 him thoughts?

I agree with you entirely..........unless a creative player is bought to complement Mata, all these strikers will struggle. Look at the people surrounding him in madrid then you will realise how much he will struggle at CFC with Lampard, Malouda, Mikel, Sturridge (very selfish), Ramires (very gud but not creative) etc.......Priority buy should be a player like Hazard, Nasri, Modric,
