It's been like that for years. It's sand based which means it cuts up a lot easier

I don't expect them to do anything major to it if there's a new stadium in the pipeline.

with sarri coming in I would have thought michy would have been banker to start look at goals got at Dortmund when playing and attacking style.

Michy general play isn’t the greatest but he comes alive in the box. we now we have a lot more possession in final 3rd, and so far at Valencia he isn’t starting and is at best 3rd choice.

Sorry lads I just don’t see Michy doing any better under Sarri than Morata.

I hope Michy has a very successful loan season but at the moment I just don’t see how his style of play would work and as I’ve already posted, I think Tammy may well have been a better alternative.

Am I the only one who feels that Chelsea missed a trick in keeping Morata this season instead of selling him then that we could have recouped more money on him? Some of would always say give him and its early in the day but like I have always maintained about him, he's not good enough for Chelsea as main striker. He's weak mentally and physically and hardly inspire the team like a real striker should, dd, Costa, Kane, Aguero etc.
We're still work in progress but becoming clearer by the day what we could have been like with a better striker than Morata. I regret to say that Giroud is a better all round striker than him and should lead the line pending when we get what we deserve.
Luiz is another worrisome player and the earlier we sort him out the better.
Sorry for the long post, your thoughts.

Said all summer I don't like the idea of Morata being our main striker but would give him a chance if signing wasn't made. Starting to think he never will be the player we want him to and would start Giroud next game for sure. Just a comment on Mitrovic, his goal reminded me of Costa v West Brom in title winning season.

As previously mentioned in my posts I am a fan of Morata. So, at yesterday’s match I kep a close eye on his game and has the “Sarri style” of the football helped his game or will it help his style if play.

For the first 30 mins he played well but it was very noticeable how isolated he was in the box. He then drifted out of the game and was correctly substituted.

Giroud held the ball better and that allowed other players to join the play and also move beyond him.

On yesterday’s performance we would have to start Giroud.

I understand we are going through a transition in style and things may well change but Michy in my opinion would not have given us anything but Tammy may well have been a better number two striker.

Weird - I was thinking after the match that I would have to change my negative opinion of Alonso - he looked World Class yesterday (still needs to improve defending though! ) .
