ED001 would like to get your views on Oscar from what you have seen so far of him this season?

BLUEBLOOD {Ed001's Note - he has looked excellent, though at first he looked a bit overawed, he has grown in stature as his confidence has increased. He really does look a bit special. I was talking to one of the Chelsea editors (I can't remember which one now) about him and saying that I can't see how Piazon has a hope in hell of getting in the team ahead of him, Mata and Hazard. Mata is a class apart, but Oscar, for me, has shown the potential to be better than him. It is hard to try and describe what I mean, just sometimes you watch a young player and you just know they have something special about them. The first time I saw Robbie Fowler when he was just a kid, he had it, Nick Powell at 15 had it, Oscar always has that little something that makes them stand out. I think Chelsea have got themselves a little gem there.}

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Oscar he is special but a very very good player. some day i actually think hes gonna be better than hazard and mata, he just got that amazing touch on the ball and always chose the most simple and makes the best passes. simply just amazing

Agree4 Disagree0

Well no doubt d boy has talent....
but what makes him special is he keeps his basic rite....
he plays simple football....
always try to make space for himself to get d pass....
and i guess he enjoys more assisting his team mates to score d goals....!!!

Yep! A supurb player already! Will only get better! Ed001, you said when you saw Nick powell at 15 he "had it", i know we've not seen much of him, but do you still think the same? Cheers! {Ed001's Note - yes, very much so, he was incredible for Crewe last season, I know it was League 2 but he was 16 and the opposition were kicking lumps out of him every week. Crewe themselves say he was the best talent that has ever gone through their academy. I just don't understand why he is not getting games in midfield for United, he is a far better player than Giggs in there.}

Away matches are always tricky ,so a great win for the team.Look at Munich ,who lost 3-1 to Bate,so all in all a very good result.Everybody played well.Good win.

well guys, what did you think of the game?
had to watch it on stream which miraculously stopped every time we scored!
got to say that Ramires & Mata were immense as was Oscar. also impressed with Moses but very disappointed again with Torres.
thoughts gentlemen?

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Nothing to be disappointed about we played well and won 4-0.A tricky away fixture, good result.

Agree5 Disagree0

Thought Torres played well apart from one miss. Is getting in the right positions. Did everything but score

Agree4 Disagree1

Torres was good, he won the ball for the first goal, he won the freekick and he set up the last goal. He wasn't crap.

PR!

Agree3 Disagree1

Torres missed one goal scoring opportunity, agreed, but I think he played brilliantly. He was involved in the build up to a couple goals, was good in the air again and strong on the ball. The ref seemed to be quick to blow when their players were out-muscled.

If anything, Lampard looks a little out of sorts.

Overall, they played Norj played well, pressed hard and tired themselves out. I think we were happy enough to let them run themselves into the ground and then push on.

Good win in the end and decent performance at a considering the pace we played at.

Agree3 Disagree0

I only watched the highlights, but Torres was involved in 3 of the goals. Ok He didnt score but is getting better every time I watch him. Works hard when not in possesion.
By the end of the season he could beup for player of the year?
Oscar is out shinning hazard, who was our big signing.

Love it how it's so positive on here all the time no matter what! (Sarcasm!) When were winning everybody's still moaning about something. It's perfectic. A lot of you need to take a step back and have a think before you post on here cause half of us don't want to read it!

We was winning by one goal. We got out passed. But I'm happy with the points. You can't expect all of us to just be happy for 3 points against a team of nobody's with our team of full internationals. BLUEBOY1

We may have gotten out passed for a stretch in the game not the entire game. Difference in the game was we had another level to turn our play up late and pull away, they seemingly gave it their best and it wasn't good enough.

Agree, if Cesar is to graduate to first team this season or be ready in case of injury to Ivan, this was a good game to bring him on. His pace could have been helpful on the rw.

I know we're winning but Jesus a team of mls and pretty much not known footballers, no disrespect, how come we can't pass like that with so called world class internationals?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

02 Oct 2012 23:36:42
But that is the point, u say 'no disrespect' yet u clearly don't respect the opponent and now our boys are 'so-called internationals'. Wow, unbeaten in bpl, just took 3 at emirates and still. Last few years i've seen no-name teams do well against big clubs, look at the run by that team from Cypress last year and look at some of the teams that gave Barcalona tough games.

Little bit dissapointed with the lack of rotation in the squad. That being said we have Norwich at the weekend and an international break to follow so you can make an argument to go for goal differential in this game.

Tk {Ed018's Note - I agree, would've had liked to seen Azpilicueta and Romeu start and for Marin to be included in the team}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

RDM is a mug. Two holding mods in the bench and no Marin. If he don't like the lad tell us.

Agree3 Disagree4

How is RDM a mug!? We are top of the league, European Champions and top of our UCL group! How did you come to that pathetic conclusion?

Not sure why Moses was played at LW most of the game, don't think that is his best spot.

my team for tonight would be

cech
azpil cahill luiz bertrand

romeu lamps

moses piazon marin

studge

now not many would agree with this line up but theres only 4 regulars in that line up and look how strong the team is even without the main starters there

It is still a decent team curt but I think tonight is a must win after drawing at home so expect a stronger starting 11

Hey Guys,

Does no one else think that Marko Marin should be in the starting line-up tonight?! He's an absolutely amazing player! Incredible potential!

Samir

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Depends if he's fit. At least a sub appearance if he is I hope, but I don't believe he was on the bench against the gooners so maybe he had a reaction to his injury.
Marley

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd include both him and Moses. We can rest hazard and mata and even potentially Oscar.
