Hey ed, you can't deny that we're in desperate need of a right back because Bosingwa is simply not good enough and is probs on his way to juve, ferreira is only back up and Luiz and Ivanovic only want to cover. How likely is it that we'll get van der wiel and how much would he cost? Also, if we fail to persuade him to come, who would we go for?

{Ed002's Note - VdW remains a target and I can't offer up an alternative. He will cost in the order of £17.36M.}

£17.36m why .36 bit precise ist it ED002

{Ed002's Note - Just a guess.}

Could we move for alonso? He would be a great signing {Ed001's Note - I am sure you could, but even more sure you won't, sorry. I do agree though, you only have to look at how far Liverpool fell when he left to know just how good a player he is.}

Why exactly ed? {Ed002's Note - Alonso was a good player at Liverpool and is doing well at Real Madrid. He is not a target for Chelsea at all.}

Hi Ed.
If Sahin is off to Madrid - who is he replacing? Could Chelsea then swoop in for a Kaka/ Oz l/ Canales?

(Btw FYI, Christian Eriksen is not interested in a move to The Bridge. He was trailed twice, before signing for Ajax. He still holds a "grudge" as Arnesen didn't offer him a pro contract.) {Ed001's Note - I assumed it would be Alonso/Gago/Diarra being replaced.}

Hey, ed has just read on sportingo that chelsea will line up Marko Marin as replacement for F. Malouda is that true? Is there an interest? Thank you ed. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have had vague interest in the past and I am guessing whatever you have read is old.}

Unsure what the speculation is all about for a new RB ivanovic has done an excellent job and is getting better going forward.I think it's more important to strengthen other areas first like wide players and another striker.I think next season: cech, ivanovic, Terry, luiz, cole
Bale, essien, ramires, neymar
Torres, aguero
Subs:lampard, drogba, Alex, begovic, mcecharen, kakuta,
Play:4222

What are the chances of Ancelotti staying next season with chelsea playing 4-4-2 (Drogba and Torres up top). They will need two wide men, presumably Sanchez and a LW.

This means Anelka, Zhirkov and Malouda would all go

Ed. .

If Spurs fail to get a Europa League place, which is very possible with Liverpool going strong, Modric won't remain at the club; will he?

You have to think that Chelsea would be interested in one of the most creative players in the Prem; don't you?

Would we (in your opinion) show serious interest? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Ed, with Drogba, Torres, Kalou, Anelka, Sturridge, and Neymar seeming on his way, why are they still linked with TOP strikers who would almost certainly be first team, surely other areas are more important? i.e Winger(s), replacements for Lampard and Terry. {Ed001's Note - that suggests all those forward will be still at the club.

Cant see anelka there next year to be honest drogba, kalou remains a doubt, drogba looks likely to stay i think neymar would replace anelka

Hey Ed, are Chelsea really interested in Wigan's James Mcarthy as a successor/replacement for Lampard? {Ed001's Note - I don't believe so, not first choice from what I can find out anyway.}

So Ed, he's a alternative target? {Ed001's Note - possibly, there have been Chelsea scouts looking at Wigan anyway.}
