Wow what a game of liverpool. The question though is, if Klop going to get punished for running to the pitch? As mourihno got banned for stepping out of his managerial zone.

Nothing’s going to happen to Klopp, I’m sure. Afterall, the fact that he’s considered charismatic and passionate on the pitch seems to justify acting like an idiot, and him celebrating with the fans makes him the greatest manager of all time, according to a lot of the so-called experts.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 19:03:34
His pathetic, not even a championship winning manager celebrates like he did.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 19:29:48
I understand the celebration, just would like to see what FA does because of it. Not because I wish him to get banned (as actually i quite like him) but if he won't be banned this will definatelly show thay managers are getting different treatment by FA.

Think that’s all a bit harsh guys. I mean I love when I see emotion in the mamnagers of our teams! I enjoyed watching conte dive into crowds of Chelsea fans and pep going mental last season when sterling scored that late equalizer. It’s a game of sport and it’s entertainment at the end of the day, so why not keep the passion going. Just my opinion gents (ladies) and you’re entitled to yours. Good luck for the season.

04 Dec 2018 13:05:04
Para-red not that I dislike Klopp, just wanted to point out the different treatment which Klopp and Mourihno gets from FA.

Wasn’t referring to you LRD :) and it’s a fair point.

A big shout out to the Paok fans who were amazing from the 1st minute to the last.

We lose our first game in so long against Spurs and immediately the media were on our back. Kepa was slated, Jorginho was slated and Sarri was slated for playing Kante out of position which meant he had to come out publicly to explain his selection.

Worst part was when Spurs were called the best team in London and apparently they have proved this with their performances over recent years. However, the stats would beg to differ. Last 4 years - Chelsea are the winners of 2 leagues, League Cup and FA Cup. What evidence have these brainless pundits used to base their opinion. Stats would confirm that Chelsea are the most successful and not in London alone but in the damn league. What have spurs won to have become the best lol?

Hello mate I understand the frustration but don't get so worked up about it. Let them think they're the best and we can sit comfy KNOWING we're the best. Trophies speak for themselves, most successful English team in the last decade in pretty much every competition. Spurs and Arsenal look good this season but so do we. I enjoy the competitiveness.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 17:14:45
It's frustrating. But your right let them think they are the best.

Moving onto Chelsea, come January we need a striker big time. Watching Morata miss an open goal was hard.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 17:24:52
It looked impossible to miss and somehow we still all knew he would miss! RLC deserves a shot up fromt.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 19:04:30
Exactly mate. Surely scoring an open goal can't be that hard.

02 Dec 2018 22:10:09
In my opinion if we're talking about TEAM, not clubs, then Spurs are most probably the best team in London. At least the most balanced, they just have a tendency to bottle every season which is why no one really takes them seriously. When you look at their squad how many of those players would get into our starting 11?. Kane, Erikson, Lucas, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Tripper. All are definites for me. As for the overreaction i expected it. Most pundits are pundits for a reason, because they're failures as managers. They don't understand different styles and systems managers use. Them thinking Kante would help us defensively by putting him were Jorginho is pretty much sums up their intellect. Sarri knows what he's doing, as do fans who are paying attention, and in time it'll work it self out and i'll look back and laugh at those who had no clue.

The permutation has just began. Every game matter now on. That already brings City to mind as our next opponent. We must not lose to City if we are to be in control in the race for top 4 finish.

After game thoughts:

• Kepa is awesome
• Kante was back to being himself
• Emerson should start, Alonso is garbage
• Pedro should start, he contributes even if he doesn't score.
• Loftus-Cheek is a beast, better than both Barkley and Kova.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

02 Dec 2018 14:37:35
In total agreement!

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 14:49:59
But King Kante RLC scored instead of tracking back. 🙃

On a serious note it’s between kova and RLC for me. Barkley is just not good enough.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 15:21:59
RLC tracked back enough for me. He's similar to Hazard in the way he saves energy for quick spurts throughout the game. For me he's done more than Barkley and Kovacic in less games and really earned a starting spot in the team. I agree Emerson should also start but it's clear how weak our fullbacks are. No pace in either flank and their crossing is abysmal. I truly hope instead of spending on a RB we give Reece James a go, three consecutive POTM for Wigan and i've watched him a couple of times, he looks soo good for his age. As for our attackers pretty much everything has already been said for a while, hopefully it's addressed in January.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 15:22:33
I disagree about Alonso (albeit today he was poor)

The rest I agree with.

RLC has clearly realised what he needs to do and offers so much cutting edge from midfield. I really think Sarri has done well with him.

Barclay has been good in spells, he's earnt some support.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 16:37:55
You let yourself down time and again King Frank, Why call Alonso Garbage? He is a Chelsea player and deserves at least being called by his name? Maybe your school teacher should have a word with you.

If he doesn't start Loftus-Cheek next week I'd get rid of Sarri.
No excuses anymore. RLC is head and shoulders above any other central midfielder we own other than Kanté.
I don't get what Sarri is watching!

I wouldn't get rid of Sarri. But I understand the frustration. RLC should start though.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 14:35:08
So the people that have called the post dumb honestly think Kovacic and Jorginho should play in any midfield over Loftus-Cheek? If you seriously believe that you’re deluded!
Sarri has his little teachers pet Jorginho, who let's be honest wouldn’t play for any other manager. We’ve played £50m for a guy who stands in the centre circle and passes the ball 5 yards, he’s not in the same class as Fàbregas as a footballer. End of the day let’s be honest, Sarri has a problem with any player that has any sort of flair about them. All this crap about RLC can’t play because he’s not good in the defensive phase, well sorry Sarri but you’re currently starting 3 defensive minded players in midfield. Where’s your goals coming from mate? Unfortunately I’m not on the hype train that Sarri has. If Pep was our manager he wouldn’t be messing about with all these defensive players, players like RLC would be playing!

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 14:41:26
Chelsea Nick, you’ve had a howler with that one mate.

Agree4 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 14:47:36
Oh my days, nick will be at the game after our next loss with a Sarri out banner, loftus cheek may be the option the play as 3rd midfielder, but cannot play the jorginho pos or what kante does, he should get his chance but he may. E best option we have at moment., but come January or summer we will need the buy someone better then all 3 of kov Barkley and RLC,

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 16:10:51
Suppose you were delighted last year getting spanked by Newcastle, Bournemouth and Watford? Sarri has worked wonders for us and we're a much more entertaining side this year. Spurs smashed us last week yes and we were poor but we've had a very good season so far! As for Jorginho you can slate him all you want but I think he's an awesome player. Cesc is also awesome but think his time has gone and the Europa is his level now.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 18:17:50
Chelsea Nick didn't the same Pep wanted Jorgihno in City team (ed001 please correct me if I am wrong) .

Terrible poster you are.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - yes mate he did, but he also wanted Fred, so not sure his judgement is always reliable.}

02 Dec 2018 18:56:57
Terrible poster? We’ll see who’s right when RLC turns out to be another KDB, cos let’s be honest it’s not going to be Palace buying him is it, he’ll be going to Liverpool or City.
Same with Hudson-Odoi when he’s gone to Bayern or one of the other top teams after him.
Sorry I should also consider that a lot of Chelsea fans nowadays aren’t actually English since Abramovich bought us and therefore they don’t really care about the clubs young talents getting a chance as they have no connection to young English players.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 20:45:49
Thought England is a multicultural country, therefore who gives a fu"" if you are English or German or Senegalese if you are good enough you will start no matter of you nationality.

Being English doesn't make you better player.

First 15 odd minutes and I'm thinking that Emerson could get a chance, alonsos crossing has been woeful, not got within 10 yards of Giroud, hopefully I've jinxed it and he sticks one on Giroud a head.

02 Dec 2018 14:03:44
Alonso and D. Luiz are very much below par. Both of them should be playing the Europa games. Thumbs up to Sarri for leaving out Willian today.
D. Luiz should be allowed to leave the club the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed018's Note - they need to bring in someone better to replace Luiz next season}

02 Dec 2018 14:18:37
I thoigt Luiz was one of the best players today, alonso was poor though.

02 Dec 2018 14:36:43

Kante, pressing high, wins ball plays it, now for all you guys saying his played wrong and should just sit behind midfield. That is why his on pitch. Press, force play force mistakes win ball. AND be able to get back. 1-0.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

02 Dec 2018 12:50:36
Was saying for long time that he suits the play, its the 3rd midfielder which is the problem as neither of 3 (kovavic, barkley, rlc) have nailed the spot. Lampard would been amazing in that position.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 13:05:07
Kovecic is a tidy player, doesn’t score or assist ( enough ) Barkley either great or non existent, Loftus-Cheek the same but maybe best option but lacks the work rate for Sarri, Cesc best passer in league, no legs, that 3rd place is a big big issue, pogba u happy at United? I’d try him in a Sarri Team with a manger who won’t chuck under the bus?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Dec 2018 14:08:41
Think problem with pogba is similar to RLC, just doesn't work on the field enough. Isco might be the answer?

02 Dec 2018 14:50:41
Isco would be ideal but his not exactly a worker,
