We had that kind of day in previous seasons. I remember watching and could not believe how didn't score. The ball would not go in! We did not play badly.

Chelsea v West Ham a few seasons ago springs to mind, how we didn't win that night is still beyond me! Funnily enough I think Big Sam was manager for them that night as well!

Every major national tournament England always include a surprise player. My prediction is it will be Lewis Baker. He will be in the first team squad next year and I'm sure he will get a chance to impress. Conte has received rave reports about his performances.

Another Day we get the penalty and their player gets sent off, Costa scores with the goal gaping etc etc. It happens and we will bounce back. What I can't understand is some people's thinking that you only need to 'turn up' to beat the likes of Palace etc. get real . look at the quality of players in their side! No game is a stone wall banker any more as it often was in the Day's prior to Sky and the huge TV revenue. this is a tough league to win and we will win it.

Agree with toughness of league. Just hope Costa regains pre-China rumours form - we really need him to be at top of it in games like yesterday's as he was in so many before the New Year (eg that great goal in home game v WBA)
