I will like to know if Chelsea is interested in Nabil Fekir either this window or in the summer. He's a very good player IMO and will get our attack linked up properly. Technically he's better than any of our attackers now. We all want CHO to remain and be a hit for us but if we are to replace him, I won't be bothered. After all he wants to leave.

Imo I feel that in as much we needed a striker to improve our team, I still think that sorting out the midfield is equally important. Aside then Moraga and Giroud not doing well enough in scoring, our transition from the midfield to attack is also not good enough. Jorginho/ Kante partnership is not the best. Even if you play Messi up top without proper supply he would struggle and could be a challenge to Higuain.

I felt excited about the news Leandro Paredes but unfortunately he's headed to PSG. Jorginho is meant to keep the team fluid by his distribution but they are never forward. Mostly he crumbs under pressure which the oppositions noticed. When he's taking out our team will be overrun. Maybe his first season but.

Paredes off to PSG. Really think that's a shame - he looks like a brilliant player who would give Jorginho proper competition and perhaps a player who could also have played the other midfield positions.
I am one of the few people on here that rate Jorginho, but he obviously needs competition and and a back up, in case he gets injured or suspended. I think both Kovacic and Ampadu looked like they weren't able to fill in Jorginho's shoes, and since I do agree that Jorginho's level has been declining recently, I think it's fair to say that we should be bringing in a back up. Therefore I think Paredes to PSG is a shame. Really hope that Ampadu proves me wrong, however - he didn't get a lot of runs to prove his abilities in the position, and hopefully it's too soon to say that he can't play the position.

It's unfortunate that Maria and her team don't see value in him 34 million in this present day transfer market. Well I will wait until after the summer transfer to tell if she's doing a good job but all don't look well to me since she assumed that office. Imo we really need an upgrade in the midfield than mere back up player.
I hope Jorginho/ Kante decisions won't hunt Sarri future.

£35m for a back up. 🤭 Club have done well this window, higuain, keeping CHO even if it’s for another 6 months. Signing a brilliant youngster in pulisic. 👍🏼.

Don’t get me wrong - I too think we’ve done well, but I think we need competition for Jorginho. But yes, £35 mil would be too much for a back up.

I think we have more than enough in midfield with the likes of Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Barkley, Ampadu and RLC. 3 positions and we have 6 players. Almost 2 in every midfield position.

Kovacic did well in the regista role and is easily capable in that position. He passes well and is actually very good defensively. He could be the cover we need if the former got injured.

However, I do suspect a final push for Barella. I can't see the Kovacic deal being permanent in the summer witout RM asking for Hazard or a big fee in return. Barella may be the cheaper and better option.

I’m sure we would have paid the £34m. PSG just likely won the race. It’s not as if a choice between Chelsea and PasG would mean that Paredes would definitely choose Chelsea.

Is it me but the fa cup draw always produces a top match every round bit smelly in my opinion.

I like how we’re not so hyped about Pulisic, it reminds me of when Mata signed, most fans were like “Meh” he could be decent but nothing extraordinary “ most just basically sat on the fence without expecting too much and then, he blue our minds and stole her hearts.

Quietly hoping Pulisic does the same.

Most fans are excited about Pulisic, however his not here until summer so we can wait on that front before we start hyping him lol. We have business to sort out this season.

I think next year it will be CHO and Pulisic in the main line up. I suspect Hazard will leave.

A lot of posters on here were raving about Pulisic last summer, and hoping we would sign him then. Now we've signed him people are moaning about it!

I was at the Dortmund v Hannover 06 game in the hope of seeing Pulisic but he was on the bench and never got on sadly. The people I was with said he has never been the same player since all the transfer speculation with Liverpool and Chelsea. What was interesting is the amount of time and space the Dortmund wingers had something they would never get in the EPL. On paper Sancho and Guerriero played well but a premiership defender would close them down quickly something Hudson-Odi might want to consider. The tragedy is Marco Reus, if ever a player allowed 'other things' to impact his career it is him. He played really well, a bit of bite that would suit us and a good footballing brain BUT will anyone take a chance on him at 29.

id very much doubt cho will take hazards spot if he leaves we will pikely sign an expensive replacement and willian an pedro will probably still be here also.

I wonder who the expensive replacement will be? in CHO we have a classy player who may end up being one of the very best with regular game time. I suspect chelsea will give him a chance to shine.
