Chelsea are a team that make you comfortable
A month ago people bothering EDs about how we arent signing
In 2 weeks we signed courtois, lukaku, mata, davila, romeu
And now in the last 2 days we are connected to alvaro perreira, van der weil and modric
People give them a break...
Be thankful... Look at poor arsenal who are just fighting to sign a 3 million pound park chu young

I think fans are sick of seeing teams like United run away with the title and Chelsea not being able to compete with them toe2toe. Last year they knocked us out of the CL and also the PL You did name a few gd signings there granted, but Mata and Lukaku are the only 2 for me that can bring something to our squad this season. We still need a couple more creative attacking midfielders, but for sum reason we still insist on going for players like Meireles, these gritty box to box midfielders. We need some class now, more players like Mata Tevez and Modric These would be awesome for us We dnt have a Rooney or a Silva, Magical players lyk that really strike fear into teams Its time we started going for them nw and stopped looking at these hard tackling gritty players that only offer so much going forward.

Dont worry about Torres , I would be more concerned and worried about a current snail paced midfield that pass sideways and backwards 99 % of the time. If Torres gets the service he will come good , but not with the current service he his getting at present .

Subs: Lukaku, McEachran, Ivan, Drogba, Romeu, Anelka, Malouda (if both still here, personally hope malouda gone) Peirara(possible) provide cover for LM/LW/LB. Is a creative player that likes to take players on and has terrific skill get past players one on one.

There has been alot of talk that a player was given a sturn warning by the club over his attitude. I can assure you the player in question is Josh Mc. From what i have heard he got a bit of a big head after preseason and AVB was not impressed. The kid is quality and AVB is well aware of that but needs to send a clear message to the developing player.
He will get his shot in the near future i guarantee you and I believe can put a strong case forward to see alot of minutes this campaign. He himself asked to go out on loan to AVB to which AVB reassured him it would be best to develope at Chelsea this year as he will get ample minutes.

Lampard and Mikel slow our play down tremoudly and I believe with an addition such as Modric or Moutinho we would have the midfield creaitivy to match it with anyone. With either of those players coming in and teaming up with Mata, Ramires, McEachran you will see a completely different style of chelsea play with creativety replaces our stagnant movement and sideways passes. Obviously Frank would protest to being a bench player but vying for the spot with mikel while essien is out is what i believe would suit him and chelsea best.

If the possible targets do come I believe that Torres will flourish for Chelsea. Our play would become creative and fast through the midfield with the deliver Torres needs to really show his worth. I do not think he has completely got his touch back but this is completely down to confidence. The signing of Mata has already boosted his confidence tenfold.

Come on the newblooded AVB's Chelsea.

the scouting staff under arensen made a lot of blunders. They ill advised roman. How could you miss dzeko, who when at wolfsburg could have easily been signed.

Torres has few months to impress at bridge. If he does not score in premier league and champions league, the he could well be packing his bags. I think in that case, chelsea would go for pato. Torres performance would be measured on goal per game ratio. Let us hope, he fires sooner than later.

If chelsea do sign modric, next year there would be no frank lampard playing at bridge. there would be a midfield of modric, josh, ramires, mata.

i suspect chelsea would also sell essien next summer to milan in player plus cash for pato. Essien never really lasts for a full season due to injuries. He is like robben.

Chelsea would sign subotic next season.

Dear Ed can you clarify please what does it mean never meet salary demand of Snejider ? Does it sound more expensive then 40 millions for Modric, publicly bow to Levy very greedy estimation of Modric and his 85+ p/w then just pay maybe only 32 millions for Snejider and well give him 120+ p/w salary. Snejider is much much better then Nasri and Fabregas. Never mind Modric. Snejider is experienced. Why were pay silly amount of money to Spuds for players who is very average ? {Ed001's Note - it was 200k+ p/w salary.}

Looking at how the two Manchester clubs are doing right now I'm not sure if our current squad can win the league. In the last 3 games we have struggled against opponents we used to thrash 6-0 or 7-0.

Look at how many 6-0's and 7-0's there's been over the last decade in the PL or old division 1 and you'll see what an anomoly(spelling) there are. We beat Man United 5-0 in '99.. does that mean we should do it every year?
