Barkley looked fully fit, oozing confidence and enjoying his football. Not the strongest opposition but his best game to date. I thought there was a little bit of Lampard about him today.

Barkley was excellent. Great to have some real competition for the midfield spots. Willian clearly looks soo much more comfortable on the left being able to cut in on his right foot. Unfortunate that Hazard has that position on lock, unless Sarri tries Hazard at CF at some point. Morata was very good and should've had a couple more. Maybe our best performance of the season so far and it was without our best player! . Constantly improving under Sarri with every game, lovely stuff. And what a player Jorginho is, soo good watching him in this system.

I thought that was an absolutely stunning performance - the best Sarriball exhibition to date. Ok, Burnley are not in good form but they finished 7th last season but, today, I don't think it would have made any difference because we just didn't allow them to get the ball. I am so excited about this team development under Sarri.

I’m a big fan of Morata and today’s booking was a joke.
I also agree that the standard of refereeing in our leagues is so very poor but I also think Morata has bought some of these poor decisions upon himself with his antics early in his premiership career.
For me, along with Barkley he was our MOM today.

Tom B, all team played really well today. Azpi and Kante showed the critics why they are so good.
Kante did some amazing passes, and Azpi defended well in his side.

RLC has to stay today as getting a hat trick and being benched isn't going to get best out of fringe players playing in Cup and Europa games if not going to get rewarded, Morata Giroud. Doesn't matter, whatever one starts I wish it was the other. Pedro who I though didn't play well other night hopefully starts ahead of Willian, 3-0 and a cameo from CHO would be something good from a sad weekend in football world,

His movement today was so much better than recent weeks, he seemed to always be on last man willing to make the run which is what we need. Unlucky to only get one, comfortable win, but rudiger. superb again. What a players have there,
