Lost all respect for AVB after what he's saying about Chelsea. Maybe the club didn't treat him as well as they should of but he's slating the club something chronic. Can't wait till we beat spurs and watch the little man cry like a girl.

Let him say what he wants. He is just a wounded animal. Thinking about it Levy and AVB are a perfect match. Levy's mission in life is to prove that he can do better that Abramovich without his money and AVB's mission is to do better than Jose without his man management skills.
Agree3
Disagree0
Compare scolari and carlo even claudio with him. they still love chelsea. his statements sound like he is targetting club. we are a 107 year old club with decent collection of trophies in our lockers. top players don't like spurs (modric not happy for 2-3 years) and big names do not wan't to come to them. they are like a batsman who always scores a duck every season.

Agree with you both. I just hate the fact he's acting like a spoilt kid because he didn't get his own way. So Glad he's gone. I really like Robbie. So what if he isn't as good as manager as pep, Jose etc. ( I know he won the champions leaugue buy for arguments sake) the bloke loves the club. The I want people/players at the club because they play and live the club. Not for trophies and money.

It's really sad and pathetic to hear the guy moaning about Chelsea still, move on mate!
Agree1

I wished him luck before the season regardless of the fact that he's coaching spurs because I thought there was some merit that he was made the scapegoat by the execs. That being said these recent interviews have been very immature and unprofessional. Agree with whoever said he's a good match with levy. You cant live life with a chip on your shoulder.

Is there any interest from Chelsea for Derby wonderkids Mason Bennett, 16, Will Hughes, 17 and Kwame Thomas 16?

Grant has loads of experience and due to his age people also respected him. even after he was not continued, he never spoke ill. take avb, won everything with porto in a league with only 2 teams(porto, benfica). if am a player caped for my country, played 400+ games for club, scored lots of goals, junir players idealize me...i will be flabbergasted if someone who neva scored a goal tells me what is rite/rong.

2 youngsters we should definately go for are Luke Shaw, 17, James Ward-Prowse, 17, (both Southampton) and Viktor Fischer, 18, (Ajax), watching them now in the friendly on Channel 5. All three look impressive especially Shaw who has looked dangerous at left back since coming on. Think these would be brilliant moves for the future, especially capturing Shaw who could be mentored into Ashley Cole's LB spot when Cole retires.

What is wrong with some people trying to find a new left back we have bertrand and van aanholt

Tbh i have a feeling Bertrand will end up as a winger or left mid, and has anyone heard anything good about Van Aanholt? after going on loan to Vitesse he seems to have gone off radar.
ChelseaL

Bertrand will make it, van aanholtim so sure.
Agree2

Van anholt hasn't been looking that good, he is a few years younger than Ryan thought. So till plenty of time and hope.

We were linked with Shaw, and i would like to see him brought in and loaned out, with Cole getting older it would be nice to have a few options coming up behind him.
Agree1

They both have huge potential bertrand more than aanholt
chelseaL you could be right about him becoming a left mid he played there biggest game of his carrer however with the likes of oscar hazard and mata at the club i would imagine he will stick to left back

I think the striker situation should be left until Jan. This is because I believe that Torres is gonna rutrn at least close to his best and Dan Sturridge is a more than good enough back up. He got somthing like 11 goals from the wing in 1/2 a season for Chelsea. He got 8 goals in 10 matches or somthing like that for bolton in 1/2 a season. He is definatley prolific enough.
Because he is so selfish and frustrating to watch people forget how good his record acctually is. I agree he must pass more and be taught by somone that this is a team game, but there is no doubt over his quality. He is so skillful that the amount of chances he creates is so high he should put far more in the net. But when you compare him to other strikers/wingers he is still up there.
He needs to pass more and not shoot on sight but if he does manage to do this he could become on of the leagues most prolific strikerrs. And in addition the fact that he is english makes it even sweeter if he is a success.
In January re-asess the situation with Torres and Stude and if re-inforcements are required then bring them in but at at least give them a chance. This is why Hulk would be perfect IMO(forget about the price for a moment). He could play right wing for us and the slot in centerally IF needed, that way we dont have an unhappy big name on the bench but we do have plenty of back up to Torres. The Hulk deal seems to be becoming unliklier by the day although i still feel he would fit in perfectly.
If Oscar is deployed in the '3' i see the possibillity of Hulk joining as 0%. If not there is still a small chance.
What are your thoughts fellow Blues fans?

But its about building a squad, so it doesnt matter if sturridge is capable, 2 strikers, considering lukaku is likely to loaned out is not enough, its not about the 11 men on the pitch..

Still think we are gonna need a more experienced (about 26/27 years old) striker whos scored a lot of goals in Europe as back up to El Nino.

I think the first poster is right, a player who is versatile enough to play upfront and elsewhere is the best bet, someone like Hulk, Jovetic or Cavani (who is more flexible than some think)

The problem is keeping them all happy. i cant see cavani or falcao being happy being num 2 and sturridge 3rd choice. cuz sturridge wont be playing hardly if it all. i dont wana see him on the wing either cuz he aint gd thr. BLUEBOY1

44': Barcelona 2 - 0 Chelsea (with Terry sent-off).
87': Bayern 1 - 0 Chelsea. What was on ur mind on these occasions?
1. The Europa?
2. Players not signing for us?
3. Top 4 Battle?
4. The boos frm rival fans?
5. The financial implications?
6. The managerial post, RDM?
7. The players that flopped cum AVB perhaps?
8. The aged players who shd have had a chance to lift d trophy?
9. What exactly?

Against Barca I was cursing and swearing at John Terry and wondering what kind of a captain is he?!
Against Bayern I had a feeling of, 'oh no not again' coupled with the feeling of 'If anybody is going to do somthing it wil be Didier Drogba.(I promise I am not just saying that). As soon as he scored I simply knew we would win it.

Hi guys,
I first mentioned the idea of Chelsea bringing N Sahin in about a month ago. He is an outstanding player almost Xabi Alonso/ Pirlo esc and I think he could add something to the deep lying midfielders that we currently dont have. Seeing that he is available for loan I feel it is no brainer considering if he doesn't impress this year then he could just return to Madrid the next. I doubt he would mind sitting on the bench much considering he only played around 5 games for Mardrid last year, and I expect him to play more than that at Chelsea. He is a young and hungry player that has a huge talent. If he impresses we can look into the possibility o purchasing him next summer for a cut price.... What do u guys think?

I for one am very happy with the deals done so far, players like hazard and marin are what we have been missing ever since robben left the club. I would still like to see azpilicueta come in and either cavani now or falcao in january depending on what happens between now and then

right wing-iker muniain.
i dont want a striker because most people on this site convinced me sturridge could be good up front so i decided i want him to have his chance, even though i think he will fail. but lukaku could be recalled, and piazon was quite good thr against psg. and if were really gt injury problems play luiz thr haha. Simply put this is what the ffp aims to do
to introduce more discipline and rationality in club football finances
to decrease pressure on salaries and transfer fees and limit inflationary effect
to encourage clubs to compete within their revenues
to encourage long-term investments in the youth sector and infrastructure
to protect the long-term viability of European club football
to ensure clubs settle their liabilities on a timely basis
i don't see this being a problem for chelsea
