Bit board of Cavani / piatek / jovic, jovic only been at Madrid 6 months so that's not going to happen, piatek hasn't been player he was last season and got the hump with ZI arriving so doesn't like competition, and Cavani as good of a goalscorer he is / was he will be on mega money and we should look to Falcao Pato shevnchenko ( sort of ) higuian when looking at past there best strikers. I was excited about dembele, others I'm not sure on, seeing others apparently in for Bruno Fernandes makes me jealous, spurs getting a good winger in bergjwin and I've no idea on Gedson Fernandes so they've strengthened,

We already have players better than those u mentioned . We don't need to strengthen if we don't get our targets.

We have Tammy who’s hot and cold, Michy isn’t good enough. Giroud is on his way out, I just find it strange that our priority has been a winger / striker for a long time, we must of known these guys aren’t available in January. I just hate seeing others like spurs and united strengthen. Bruno Fernandess stats are top draw and Bergwjin is an exciting winger. The signings will get a buzz around the place,

I hear you Matt but we didn't have the summer window to address the issues youve mentioned and this window is the worst to do any meaniful business. Plus i would not compare us to the signings of spurs or utd . their recent track record has been really bad.
with RLC back and Pulisic getting closer to full fitness . i don't see the need for any panic buys.
we may need to find a giroud replacement but that's that . and we want a player that fits us and improves us . hard to find that during this time of the year.
i would hold back from getting a player that we don't really want or need right now

Do we want Champions league football next season?
If the answer is yes, then we must strengthen to stand a good chance. Whether our 'strengthening' is long term (Timo Werner, M. Dembele, Jovic or Piatek) or short term (Cavani), one thing is certain- it won't come cheap.
