This is how I see it

Cech
? Luiz. Terry. Cole

Ramires. ?

? Mata. ?

Torres

For me these players are all shoe ins. For the question marks...

Right back will be vdw or cesar

Holding midfielder will be a low key signing (
Not Martinez) or they will stick with lampard/mikel

And the two wingers will be either hazard, moura, hulk or Marin

So let's just wait and see what unfolds

my opinion on who we need to sign, move on, and loan.
.............,,,,cech.................
VDW----cahill----luiz----cole
------ramires-MARTINEZ---
HULK----mata----HAZARD
------------torres----------

four signings to make our team the dogs dangerleys. 120 million? kalou and malouda replaced, essien replaced, bosingwa replaced. we still have lamps, mikel, meirelles to play centremid. bertrand ivanovic r & l backs. terry is a great leader & should be rotated as centre bak along with ivanovic. our wingers bring in marin & kakuta. de bruyne i believe plays better in a centre attacking midfield role. strikers of torres, sturridge, lukaku. to me that is a winning team, it what i want hopefully. wouldnt mind seeing piazon given some game time & kakuta and if meirelles gos josh mceachran aswell.

nothing concrete yet but i personally think hulk is as good as a chelsea player porto just need to stop being greedy or chelsea just give them the extra 8 million they want for him come august he will be a chelsea player i also think moura will be possibly hazard van der wiel or cesar and wouldnt mind seeing a decent holding midfielder mayb martinez or schwiensteiger(never happen) even someone like luiz gustavo underrated in my opinion and mayb modric as back up but not for the 30 odd mill tottenham want

Believable1 Unbelievable0

30mil on back up? We aint city

would like to know peoples opinions would you rather see ribery robben or hazard at chelsea for me personally it would be ribery then robben then hazard only for the reason of hazrads attitude theres no need for it to be honest yes hes got gthe potential to be a talent but not with that attitude ronaldo found that one out now hes not as bad as he used to be as far as his attitude is concerned obviously he would be the dream signing for us (personally think hes better than messi) please leave ur opinions without hurling abuse :D

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Robben is injury prone and still too greedy, Ribery comes with too much baggage. They are both getting old would both still cost a large transfer fee and they are both on huge wages. No chance if u ask me mate

Agree2 Disagree0

Yer maybe your right but 30 odd mill on a 21 year old whos only proven in the french league is a big gamble dont you think?

Nothing really coming in from the Hazard deal, there has been a bit of a slow down in rumours and excitement.

The situation is bascially, that its between three teams: Chelsea, Manchester Utd and Manchester City. I'm personally ruling out 'City as Hazard specifically said he wants playing time which i'm not confident he would get, in their ever growing squad.

So, for me, its between us and Man' Utd. In terms of wages, we both can offer some hefty wages, but if the Kagawa price goes up, which it inevitably will, and goes through then I can't see 'United wanting to have another big deal on their hands this window. Also Manchester Utd seem to be losing their way a bit; not a major trophy this year and Alex ferguson getting older and older, could mean that Hazard would want to go for a more confident and promising team- Chelsea. I mean with his services plus another one or two and RDM or Pep Guardiola we are definitely major contenders for a triple or quadruple this coming season. If Hazard did go for 'City then they show big promise as well, basing this on how well they played this year (winning the premier league), perhaps the ones to watch out for.

Obviously, me being a bias Chelsea supporter then I would always lean towards Chelsea being the ones to buy him, but considering these factors we are definitely with a big shout. Maybe even the ones he will go for. Which he will anounce in early June.

If he did come then I can see him working well, attackingly, with some of our players and would settle down well. Perhaps played along side Mata in a formation like this:
..................Cech..................
...VDW...Ivanovic...Luiz...Cole...
..Ramires..Lampard...fernandes..
...........Mata.....Hazard...........
...............Torres....................
The other signings would be Fernandes(wasn't sure on this one) and Van der Wiel of whom we are negiotiating with. This team would prove to be a winning one with plenty of ooopfm in attack. However, focusing on Hazard it seems to be a good solid role in attack and with Mata, who has played in this kind of position before, to side with him on the right. I personally feel he would be a great guy to have in the team and this position and formation would suit him well, as well has suiting others as well. Its fair to say that its a quality line up.

Manchester United losing their way, I expect thats why they finished 6th - oh wait they finished 2nd and only lost the title on goal difference.

Agree2 Disagree2

But they won nothing!

Agree3 Disagree0

Oh yeah when was the last time you didn't win a major trophy in a season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fact is united are going down hill we got the fa cup and champions league this season you got nothing and your going to get nothing next season

Cech

Ivanovic Luiz Terry A.Cole

Ramires Modric

Mata

Hulk Jovetic

Torres

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Rather start Marin than Jovetic.

Badger

Agree11 Disagree7

Ivanovic wont want to play RB next season, so many fantasy teams have him at RB and while i think he plays the position brilliantly he is not happy with that, we need a new RB.

Agree1 Disagree0

I know. It would be a shame to loose him though. I wonder why we went for Cahill then if we knew he didn't want to play RB? To me it looks the decision for him to move on was already made.

Agree1 Disagree2

The line up will be
cech
vdw luiz/cahill terry cole/bertrand
ramieres javi martinez
mata
hulk hazard
torres

Agree1 Disagree0

The guy that is talking about cahill we brought him to replace Alex

HULK
FC Porto: - 166 appearances, 76 goals and 55 assists.

HAZARD
Lille - 179 appearances, 39 goals and 29 assists.

So in less appearances for his club Hulk has done more adding to goals than Hazard.
I'd prefere Hulk here but who would you choose

Believable4 Unbelievable0

FC Porto - Portuguese League

Lille - French League

IMO the French League is a more competitive league and alot harder to win.

Porto usually win their league and did it unbeaten two seasons ago

Dan1CFC

Agree3 Disagree2

Would rather have Hulk if it was one or the other but i think both could join, and both would be good additions (if not great additions) to the squad. An attacking three of Mata Hazard and Hulk is porrsible

Agree3 Disagree0

Its not about the club the player has come from i mean you could also say the french league is harder then the brazil league but Lucas Moura still remains better then say Joe Cole playing in a similar position?

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes it does make a difference to what club / league the player is in, if a 19 year old attacking midfielder was doing what Lucas Moura is doing in the brazilian league in say the premier league or Spanish league then you would consider him a better player due to the fact he is up against tougher opposition week in week out.

Dan1CFC

Agree0 Disagree1

C.Ronaldo used to play in the Portugese league, and Gervinho used to play in the french league. You could argue all day about this one lads, a good player is a good player no matter what league he's in.
