1 question hassellbaink or torres ? canton

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Hasselbaink was a excellent player, one of the most underrated in the premiership era, had a fantastic partnership with Gudhjonsen.
Torres was a great player but has never shown it for Chelsea

Without putting lineups and formations what do we think score will be Sunday, I think 2-1 Chelsea Torres both goals, and I dot wanna hear people slate him er it's just what I think,,, why ya think then fellas

Torres did have the habit of scoring against united and taking vidic to the cleaners at the same time :) I see both teams scoring, both defences are kinda wobbly and both out attackers are inform. Gonna be a good game. I'll go for 3-1 but can't decide which way. Hopefully us of course but we will have to defend better than tues.

United have the better forwards in Van Persie and Rooney, Chelsea have a far better midfield and attacking midfield, both defences are dodgy. Could be any score. I can see 3-0 either way or a high scoring draw. Not a game to have a bet on.

We have a much stronger defense,midfield, and a little weaker offense. but if the defsense shape up and mata/hazard start running more back, and squeeze the places between manU so it makes hard for them to pass the ball i would say it wil be around 3-1 to us.
But if we perform like in shaktar we wil get spanked.

Agree2 Disagree1

With Cahill and Luiz in defence, I feel we'll be defensively stronger than we were in mid-week. And with Lampard out, RDM will have to start Ramires and Mikel in the centre. Also I think Fergie will change their formation to try and control the midfield as they've been very weak there in the last couple of games whilst playing 4-3-3, which can only be good for us as we'll be playing to our strengths whereas ManU will simply be trying to stop our front 4. Therefore I'll go for a 2-1/3-1 win for Chelsea. =]

1st poster here. I have been reading on this site for almost a year now and have enjoyed every bit of d banter. A huge kudos to the eds this site is quite intresting. I want to say our boys are doing well so far this season, lets forget about slating one player or the other but lets face chelsea's problem from the wholistic point of view. We seems to play well some times when we are with in possesion of the ball although our movements with it has nt been the best but its ok but when we loose possession its only oscar and torres that seems to figth to win the ball back or put pressure to win it back with real intent, mata and Hazard tries but not with real intent. Mikel always waits till u are almost at shooting range b4 he combats that leaves ramires as the only ball winner in the middle. My point is the difference betwn us and baca is when they have possesion they play well and when they loose it, they leave u no space and they all fight as a unit with real intent to win it back as fast as possible to maintain possesion. That realy furstrates oponent and reduces d oponents confidence. I think rdm will have to encourage them to work on their ball winning if not we will be finding it very hard to contain any side that retains the ball stan

1st time poster here. I think we should focus more on our beloved club as a whole nt just individuals. Our guys are doing real well so far this season, inspite of d recent set backs. D real problem of this club is how we play and our positioning without the ball. When we are with the ball we play well bt when we loose the ball, its only oscar and torres figths to win d ball with real intent up front. Hazard and mata tries but not with real intent Then mikel wil wait until its almost very close to the 18yards before he makes a combat dat lives ramires as the only ball winner in d middle. My point is the difference bwn us and baca is how everyone in the team plays well with the ball and yet when they lose it, they leave u no space and fight like a unit to win d ball very quickly to maintain possession. Someone should talk to rdm. Or else we wil always find it difficult to play against any side dat retains the ball

I agree with the ball winning part, Oscar really is doing an amazing job at it compared to mata/hazard. and yes Mikel is not doing anything to win it back withless the ball gets played to a person just infront of him sometimes, thats one of the reasons why i dont think he is good enough for this style of play. He is not a fast runner and cant keep running around like Ramires does in the midfield which hurts us alot.
And also it seems like atleast Mikel runs back so he just stands infront of the defense, and then try to win the ball back instead of trying to do it in the middle so we the rest of the team dosent have to run that mutch.

The match fixing accusations against napoli would that in any way affect a possible sale of Cavani? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Lets hope Romeu stats getting some playing time, its nonsence that Lampard gets more time in the pivot than him.
