traore banned for 6 months from all football activity at city for drugs tests, has torres been banned as well cos hes done nothing for 6 months, ynwa
YNWA
Does that stand for, I'm an idiot, plastic scoucer, who supports a team, that used to be good in a different century.
Very sad, how far you have fallen.
Well at least you haven't got to re-new your passport this year. HAHA.
YNWA.
Just like liverpool.
Your Never Win Again.
Why don't you concentrate on the players u have now not the players that left ur team idiot
How many champion league cups have u won ? O wait that right none

rumour has it harry redknapp to be chelsea manager by monday , i really thought he was next england manager when the overrated cappello goes, harry is 5/4 on sky bet. {Ed002's Note - He would resolve the issue of having someone sit in for a year, then he can go off and manage England and Plan A is back on. Give him a two or three year contract and the The FA can pay compensation for him.}
Have chelsea been in contact with him do you know ED? {Ed002's Note - I don't know. I was not in the country yesterday but it has been reported that he may have visited Cobham. I have no confirmation of this.}
Let us know when u do mate
Why for only 1 year ED? {Ed002's Note - Back to Plan A.}
U mean plan A - mourinho
I would hope that Plan A is Villas Boas. .
If plan A was villas boas he would be here this summer. He has nothing left to achieve at Porto. He won the league, he won the Europa league. He's not winning the champions league there. His time to move was now
I think that the point that the Ed. is making that even though it is considered a "Plan A", it won't come to fruition for at least one season, for whatever reason (guy we *really* want isn't available next season). Bringing in someone like 'arry would make sense, since there is a real good chance of him taking the England job in the near future. Win-win for everyone. To be honest, I really don't want Hiddink as manager again. {Ed002's Note - I would much prefer Hiddink for a year. It would not be at all disruptive.}

hey ed why can't chelsea wrap up early deals like real did with sahin can't we sign them now and just make it official on the first of july as we found out about bosingwa with in a few days of losing to utd in moscow why give rivals a chance.plus weve had six months to get 4/5 players to sign a piece of paper i bet we will sign 1 of the players we are linked with and the rest will be the same class as mikel kalou tiago zirkov kezman and so on we only ever seem to sign workmen like players take barca for eg since 97 they have had 4 world players of the year ronaldo/rivaldo/ronaldinho/messi why don't we sign flair players with the chance of being the best in a generation instead of average work horses then moan that we don't play good football???. rant over
I think we are desperate too add a few REAL workhorses, along with a couple of flair players, very few of the current team would bust a gut to get back, and hardly any play with hunger or passion, i think we should invest in gritty young british players AND add 2 or 3 foreign flair/creative players, also id say zhirkov is a good player, he hasnt really had a chance, he will shine when he gets his move mark my words
ZOLA {Ed002's Note - Chelsea are certainly on the brink with maintaining the right homegrown balance. I suspect Zhirkov will move on this summer.}

Any idea when the away kit is out? EDS GUYS?
Good question
They are still too busy making little plastic flags yet,
26 May 2011 15:40:09
Is Lakuku likely to come ED002 is he more likely then Neymar ? {Ed002's Note - I am not going to get in to these bizarre more and less likely discussions you are so keen on.}
26 May 2011 13:49:45
No Mourinho - Now Voldano is gone. No Hiddink - Committed to Turkey (unless they don't get through Euro qualifiers come Friday). No Villas Boas - keen to stay at Porto. No Guardiola - purrrlease he'd never come to Chelsea.
I seriously think we may well end up with a 4th oe 5th choice manager who would not be an improvement on Ancelotti.
The shortening odds on Harry Redknapp, Pelligrino, Van Basten and Grant are giving me heartburn.
Ed - can you make me feel better????
{Ed002's Note - I would not worry too much - it is only a game after all.}
Hiddink will arrive mate
Try looking at it this way, you change managers like ppl change socks, yr players bring guns into training, yr captain is after anything with a pulse, the atmosphere is about as noisy as a grave yard, other players and managers and players will know about yr club and think, why the hell would we want to go there?so all it boils down to is money, youre only going to buy players that are there for the wage packet and not the club and there will be frictions amongst players just like at city, you might as well get gareth southgate to manager because that's the level you will be at,
{Ed002's Note - In terms of morale, it is excellent at Chelsea.}
I know ive seen their faces on the pitch,

elite players or players with huge fanbases cann also bring in money to the club through marketing and shirts etc
thats why torres could make his transfer fee back as it was reported that he is the most followed player in the premier league
neymar could help with thhat side as well
what do you think ed {Ed002's Note - I think you don't understand anything about shirt sales I am afraid.}
Yes but that was before torres was crocked, hes just a hasbeen now, he will never ever get back to his best,
Could u tell us then ed as you do understand shirt sales and it was true that last season torres was the biggest seller of shirts in england and when we signed him he was out selling suarez 300-1 and carroll 25-1 that is a fact so why can't we sign superstars and as a bonus they nearly pay for there own fee what do u think ed! {Ed002's Note - I have not got the time now to explain.}
Torres is not a "has been". Give him some support and he'll be fine. Having wingers like Malouda and Kalou, who look to slam shots from 30 yards instead of looking to pass, and uncreative midfielders really doesn't help him.
26 May 2011 12:21:00
i think we should be looking at buying an asian player to get more interest from asia
we could get
park chu young
keosuke honda
kagaywa - dortmund
With all the thefts in london what about, Tommytukamota
Ever since the World Cup I've been wanting Honda. He probably wouldn't break the bank either.
26 May 2011 12:19:36
He's 18. They believe he will be a world class striker. It's not like we can go on with drogba and Torres forever. I think it's a great buy if they end up buying him
"He's 18".
Well that narrows it down to a few million players. .
I meant to copy that to the post were someone said we shouldn't but lukaku. Sorry
26 May 2011 12:18:45
Brilliant info. .! You are on form at the mo, ed2.
26 May 2011 12:15:11
i honestly don't think chelsea have ever had an elite player
eg manu-ronaldo
arsenal-fabregas
liverpool-gerrard
mcity-tevez
barca-messi, xavi, iniesta
people will say drogba but i don't think you can class him an elite i think hes more in the zlatan and vpersie level
but i think neymar and sanchez could definitely reach that level which is why we def need one of them if not both
Lampard
Haslebaink
Crespo
Vialli
Id say Lampard was 3 or 4 years ago, Ballack was a world beater aswel he could be considered, Ashley Cole would get in any squad, Desailly was a world cup winner and France starter, Crespo may of bin considered 'elite', we had a past his prime Weah who once got world player of the year, Deco and currently Torres may of been considered 'elite', i admit a few of these were slightly out of form/past there best when they were here, but we've had some world class players here regardless, we NEVER used to fail to get to the CL semis that tells you the calibre we were/are/had.
ZOLA
Zola is one of the greatest players to ever play the beautifull game. It was always a pleasure watching such a tallented footballer.
Robben
A.cole
Osgood
Greaves
Gullit
We have had some quality at the bridge over the years, I admit that since Robben and Duff we have been lacking flair but 4-5 of our first team would have started week in week out and most if not all teams.
26 May 2011 11:58:23
Hi ed. Do you think more youths will be utilised in the chelsea team next season considering the fact that lotti was sack because of his dependency on old legs {Ed002's Note - Probably not and you seem to have some misunderstandings about why Ancelotti left.}
26 May 2011 01:53:54
Ed, I just don't understand how Aguero is favored to go to Real Madrid. I realize that is the players preferred location as well as the club being able to match his wage requirements. I just believe that is the last team Athletico want to sell him to. Also I have a hard time justifying Real's interest. Next year they will have Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema, and Di Maria in attack, as well as Ozil, Alonso, Kaka, and Sahin in midfield. Also keep in mind that if Mourinho, if he is there, likes to play defensively. {Ed001's Note - Benzema will not be there.}
I agree that's very likely and Madrid don't appear to be interested in Adebayor, however that's still a lot of people.
I hope Benzema is not heading to us.
26 May 2011 00:11:58
Are Lakuku and De Bruyne likely to join us i hope not there are far more better players then the pair {Ed002's Note - Perhaps a slim chance.}
I think it just the daily mirror talking up old stories
Lukaku will never be as good as Drogba unless he goes to Ajax. Drogba is Drogba they will never be another Drogba. The only reason they compare him to him is because of his physique and pace.
26 May 2011 00:11:15
Ed, are Chelsea at all interest in a move for hazard or gervinho? What area of the team is considered the most important to strengthen? {Ed002's Note - Hazard has been of interest in the past but not Gervinho.}
