Really interesting comments RE: Jay DaSilva from Ed002 on the Liverpool page (that came about due to a different matter) .
I hope the club try and integrate himself, James, Mount and Abraham next year, along with Ampadu and CHO. All of the first four have proved themselves aptly ahead of the Championship and the latter two have never disappointed when given a chance. None of them will take up Registration spots next season either- if we are going to make use of our academy, let's start now. Would also love to see Dujon Sterling get a two year loan a la Christensen to really establish himself somewhere in Europe.

There's been talk of Wigan trying to get Dujon on loan for next season as they will be losing Reece obviously.

I wouldn't mind that. Let him take a step up in level and see how he does.

Similarly, it'll be interesting to see what the club decide to do with Trevoh Chalobah and Tomori. Both of them have arguably been their team's best player and should be ready for a step up as well. I'd say Tomori could even feature for our first team.

Seems like Bristol City could sign him permanently. Unless he decides he doesn't want the move.

He’ll only join Bristol City if we don’t make an offer to him. If we do he’ll turn down joining them and just return from loan.

Impressive performances from Barkley and CHO. Hopefully it's given Sarri a headache for the Cardiff game. As sad as it'll be to see Hazard leave, i honestly think it'd be for the best, especially for CHO. It's clear he's much more effective on the left than the right and he's a big part of our future. The sooner he's a regular in his favourable position the better it'll be for us. Obviously he shouldn't have the pressure of being Hazards replacement especially at his age so hopefully if we can spend in the Summer we'll use the Hazard money and more on a class ST and Midfielder.

I have never been a Barkley fan but in fairness to him as he has got sharper he has looked better in small doses but gives the ball away too often which is often lack of confidence, trying to do precise things rather than what comes naturally to him . Last night must have been a huge boost to his confidence, two goals and played well and hopefully it takes him forward. We still need to remember how young Hudson-Odoi is and the non-football distractions he still has but he showed a usefulness on both sides of the pitch. On the right he can put some lovely crosses in for good players in the air and on the left, providing he doesn't get too predictable, he cuts in sharply and thinks about his shot. Both performances augured well for the rest of the season.

Barkley struggled last season most of the time but has looked far better this season and occasionally very impressive. I am always surprised how quick some on here are to write players off so good on you C1955 for being able to see the improvement.
