jt might as well stay as manager till the last game, may 19th eh?!

Believable2 Unbelievable2

No way, JT should keep his mouth shut and be an example while he's still at the club time to pass the baton on to the youth like was done for him, neither him or lamps are taking their leave from the game gracefully, they both want to be involved in every game and that's not fair, look at giggs and scholes even Neville they all stayed out of the headlines and negotiated contracts behind closed door they took it a year at a time and accepted there were no assurances.

Agree5 Disagree3

Terry's contracted until end of next season, so it's nothing to do with contracts! person. Terry ain't happy because Benitez is a terrible manager. Which I understand. Word from closed doors is that even in training it's terribly managed.

Who would like to see JT take over as caretaker manager until the 17th of May agree for yes or disagree for no.

I do not want Rafa at Chelsea on the grounds that the players look like they don't want to play for him or they don't respect him. It just looks like that to me from the players body language.

Having said that, I really think the players must shoulder a lot of the blame for the demise in team spirit and results.

I think it's time for the players to stand up and be counted, there are far, far too many players going through the motions, turning up and taking the money, didn't think one player really wanted to know on sunday.

Well if the players don't want to do it for Rafa then do it for us the supporters that support you through thick and thin.

Believable7 Unbelievable10

Look, your players have run your club. They have got countless managers sacked.
One manager, a dead man walking as soon as he strolled in, has put terry in his place and all the toys are being thrown out of the pram.
Pathetic. All of it!!
I'm glad rafa has stood up to terry. Someone had too.

Agree4 Disagree2

Guss, Carlo and Jose. The top 3 managers we have had at the club. All 3 knew one thing stayed true. Get the players on side and you will be successful.

Rafa, has proven why he isn't in the same bracket as the previous 3. He doesn't know the players, he doesn't know any formation other than 4231, he doesn't have a plan B. He doesn't have a clue.

You scousers can have him back. You deserve eachother.

Agree2 Disagree4

No one. Frankly he acts like a big baby and is frankly past it. He needs to realise that he is a player and not the team. I don't think anyone as controversial as him should actually be captain and it is high time to give it over to loyal players such as Cech or Lampard

Agree1 Disagree2

There is no more loyal a player to CFC then JT. You honestly have me doubting your support with such ridiculous comments. Especially when you back them up saying Frank has been any different. Who was it that threw the toys out the pram and made the AVB problems public last year because they weren't getting games?

To ever doubt either players loyalty is ridiculous. These men have brought us more joy over the past decade than some fans have got in a lifetime. They have instilled spirit and believe in a generation of players. I'm guessing you have no idea the work JT does behind the scenes with the academy players. The fact he stays at Cobram to work with players like Christiansen says far more than any story in a rag to sell papers.

There is a reason the banner reads 'Captain, Leader, Legend'. No man is bigger then the club, but when it comes down to Rafa or JT, it isn't a choice. And the new age 'fans' need to give far more respect to past achievements by players. It wasn't that long ago the club was close to collapse. We are very fortunate to be where we are. Most of it is owed to Roman but a lot of credit rests on JTs shoulders.

Agree3 Disagree5

The thing that makes me smile is that an article appears in the press and bang its fact yet time after time these sort of sensational stories are proven to be a lot of tosh.
Ah some may say there's no smoke without fire but in reality there is when it comes to the British papers.
Now I don't doubt that there are heated words at football clubs and I don't doubt that JT, FL or whoever at Chelsea don't see eye to eye with the manager but do people really think that based on current performances and results its going to be a love in when the managment and players de brief following a game?
If you do you have no idea how a football club is run or indeed how top professionals react when their game is looked at in in the cold light of day.
Its a quiet period in the press. The league is just about done and dusted, there isn't any CL games this week, the transfer window isn't open so somehow the press have to fill coloum inches so what better than to focus on normal things add in a little mischief then together with something else shake it around a little and bang headline news and hey who cares about the truth. You don't need to reflect back more than a couple of weeks when the sun had to issue an apologie to Chelsea about another fabricated JT & Chelsea story.
But the sad part is that other clubs supporters whose teams are performing at a level below us come on forums and sneer but as they say sometimes you should look in the mirror.

chelsea transfers that crucially need to happen:

Out:Torres, Malouda, Benayoun, Ferreira, Hilario, Turnbull.

in:Jackson Martinez, Falcao, CDM?

Recalls:Omeruo, Chalobah, Lukaku, DE Bruyne, Piazon

Islam Feruz and Nathatn Ake should earn call-ups

Believable1 Unbelievable5

We don't need two strikers and lukaku coming back

Agree3 Disagree1

We do need Falcao and Martinez. Look at United, they are walking the league with a decent four man strike force, and if we had Falcao, Martinez, Ba and Lukaku then I'm sure we would win the league, I stand by that.

Bring back our loanees and I'm sure we would be challenging for the league.

Agree1 Disagree5

The difference is utd play with two strikers. We only need to bring in one!

Agree6 Disagree1

Who says conte won't end up at chelsea next season and we will play 2 strikers?

Agree1 Disagree2

We have too many AM players to play 2 upfront. The only way I see us playing with 2 strikers is either selling some players or buying an Aguero/Tevez type striker which is very skillful and able to play in the AM role.

Agree0 Disagree0

Falcao?. you got Ba mate, but dream on. What happened to getting Pep in for manager? Shall I tell you. Ok then. He's not that stupid or desperate
No decent manager will want to go to Chelski while Roman'ov is sacking them every season and picking and buying the crap players. Fat Frank oughta run while he's got the chance

please please rafa, rest most of the first team against Boro. We need to qualify for the champions league, the FA cup is not important this year, we have won it enough times, just give the players a rest when you have the chance. don

Do Chelsea have any interest in Marquinhos of Roma? {Ed002's Note - He has only just arrived there.}

It's lucky that Lukaku can't play this weekend
Although he isn't the complete striker at the moment he will be in the future and the form he is in he would run rings round the Chelsea defence the way they are playing at the moment

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Kind of unfortunate that he's in form but can't play.

With the last two managers being sacked after losses against west brom could Rafa be gone after this weekends game

Believable3 Unbelievable0

26 Feb 2013 14:41:11
Come what may, Rafa will remain here. Do u think the board are not 'ashamed' of the incessant sack? Who'd take the job anyway?

Agree9 Disagree2

26 Feb 2013 09:50:10
Bad results, terrible performances, no fighting spirit, players with very negative body language, surely the time has come to get Benitez out and try and salvage a top 4 finish.
If we carry on like this we will finish outside the top 4 and we can forget about Falcao or Cavani in the summer or a top class manager for that matter.

Under RDM, we played great, looked united as a team with a good fighting spirit and strong even with virtually no options upfront, then a few bad results and he was sacked. I think RDM deserves an apology.

Believable10 Unbelievable9

Under RDM we were doing very well up until the Man U game at home when everything went against us.
After that the club handled things very badly and all the distractions put us on a downward spiral and the knee jerk reaction to sack RDM.
If you remenber that game even with 10 men we were dominating Man U and I honestly thought we would get something out of it.

Agree8 Disagree1

Under di matteo we where going in the right direction. The only thing missing was a decent striker. But I don't believe roman and the board wanted him in the job in the first place. There hand was forced by the euro cup triumph. Would be happy for JT to take over until end of season because benitez is a joke.

Please some have the imagination to sign bale and play him up front!
Danny

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Er not a chance he is ours (well at least until the end of the season) so leave him alone

Agree8 Disagree0

Oh, we were going to try to sign him before the window opens were we?

Agree1 Disagree1

He wouldn't come to you lot, you like ruining superstars i. e torres

Agree9 Disagree8

I think u would find torres was already ruined b4 he signed we were just stupid in paying the massive transfer fee for him

Do you think KDB could be used as a make-shift striker for some games if needed? He's got pace and a great shot, like what victor moses was used as a couple games this season

Believable0 Unbelievable3

26 Feb 2013 08:58:21
hes played there a co'ple of times this season and hasn't impressed b't i'm s're that was when he was in bad form, I wo'ld think so mate

Billy

Billy your clueless, he was never in bad form one game he was played out of position!

Ed do you see Chelsea as Luke Shaws most likely next destination? {Ed002's Note - I really cannot answer "most likely" questions sensibly.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Luke Shaw is staying at Saints.

Just wondering what the odds of Chelsea losing to west brom and Rafa getting sacked

Just like AVB lost 1-0
Just like RDM lost 2-1

One good thing, Lukaku can't play the form he is in he would tear Chelsea's defence apart

Believable6 Unbelievable0

He would demolish us on his own! Can't wait to see him in a Chelsea shirt
