Watching the manchester derby tonight, honestly cannot see why Wenger was crying about us selling Mata to United. he's not been influential at all, and looks a shadow of the player from last year, with zero confidence.
The reason he should be crying about it is because we took the money and improved our squad with MATIC, who ultimately has changed our season.
But honestly, I didn't want the deal for mata to happen when it was, but looking back now, £37.5m for him, playing how he is now, what a deal for us.
Gutting seeing him play so poor and in such a poor team. He could of waited and played part in our title push and champions league. How poor are UTD thou. Can't se arsenal do us any favours v city either thou
I think Arsenal have more of a chance than United did, and remember, they have to face Sunderland, their bogey team. Yes, at the moment we are all in agreement they have the upper hand, but its all to play for.
3 horse race, between Chelsea, City and the unexpected Liverpool.
I would not be disappointed with a second place. Jose has done miracles with minimum strike force. With the addition of a couple of world class strikers I expect to go all the way next season.
It is looking like Mourinho was right that City are favourites but they have some tougher games than United still to play. Arsenal, Southampton, Liverpool, Sunderland.
I'm not ruling us out at all, still think we have a good chance, but I personally would be disappointed to finish any more than 3 points behind the leader, and to finish any lower than 2nd.
