If we could sign anyone this summer who would be your pick?? I would love Sanchez he is absolute class and image him and hazard in the wings

{Ed018's Note - I'll pick out of the players we have shown interest in, and I'll go with Griezmann for reasons I've said before. We need someone else who can find the back of the net. We can't just rely on Costa and Hazard for that. I like Willian and Oscar but they don't score enough for me}

Ed018, has anything changed in regards to the interest shown in Griezmann? Do Chelsea remain keen or have things changed?

Totally agree with you Ed but surely one of Willian, Cuadrado and Oscar would have to leave to make way for him especially if Traore comes back. Is there any truth in Cuadrado leaving?

Griezman of course would be the most realistic option Sanchez is just a player I would think would be a signing and a half although I no we won't be going after him just a thought in my own head lol but good choice edd. looking forward to seen if rlc and cuadrado get more game time it will be an absolute shame if he doesn't get more time after playing 20 plus million for him he could also be very useful as a right back to cover iva but he could do with a bit of weight training during the summer I feel he's a bit timid

If Mikel leaves we will need back up for Matic(we have RLC but I am not sure is really ready to step in).Bale and Pogba would be perfect signings but both of them are unlikely. Griezman might happen but only if are very lucky. Stones could be excellent signing for the future but he hardly get much opportunity to play.
Position that we really need to strenghten is left back.
We also need a striker since Drogba has left. Personally I am very sceptical about Cuadrado.
So we have replace Drogba, Cech if he leaves (possibly with homegrown gk),Filipe Luis if he leaves.We might already have replacement for Mikel (RLC).We are actually talking about 3-4 signings ATM.

Strange you say we need a left back!do we Dave was probably one of the best left backs in Europe last year he was outstanding and half the reason terry and Cahill done so well is cause they no he will always cover of need be so only unless luis leaves which looks likely then we may need cover why not use ake as cover why buy someone to sit them on the bench like we did with Luis . won't be sad to see mikel go never liked him or rated him how he lasted this long is beyond words . my only memory of nickel will be the great job he done in the cl final other than that I won't slate him because eds were not happy last time I did so but I wish him the best of luck where ever he goes . Vidal would also be a good signing imagine him and matic in front of the defence 2 beasts cesc hazard griezman and Costa IF ONLY but hey who knows who is going to come in over the summer . any thoughts on the interest in song I never liked him think he lacks pace for the defensive midfield role but to be fair he was praised last year for the job he done for West Ham and he played for arsenal and barca so he couldn't be that bad eh plus home grown I hope rlc becomes our pogba in time next year I expect to see him more and he's size and speed he should be bossing that area with matic when he is called upon I'd like to see zouma replace Cahill or terry a bit more jt didn't get much rest last year Cahill was shaky at times

About lofts cheek. I'm sick of people saying young players aren't ready. It's alright sending them to holland and where ever else. But they need to learn our system, our style of play from these ages. It's about time a little faith and patience was put into some of these players. A couple a season that's all we need to do. So this year I'm hoping cheek and bamford. If not bamford, kalas. Now rumours of a kalas loan. That game against Liverpool why has he not had more of a chance. I know people will say oh one game. But he hasn't had a bad one.

RLC looked very good in the U21 championship, though the England disappointed more than anything. He was the only one I was impressed with, he brought presence to the midfield. He'll be fine next year with the first team, but if Mikel leaves we need another midfielder. Whether a player is bought or brought back from loan, doesn't matter.

Anyone hear the rumour that Mourinho wanted to switch 'Dave' back to the right hence the desire to get a strong left back. He wants him to use his pace to get the ball across on his favoured foot. The idea to rotate Ivanovic (if he remains), Cahill, Terry and Zouma in the central positions.

If that were the case frensham than we would be keeping Felipe Luis as there aren't too many better than him at performing that role.

It's absolutely irrelevant what we think about RLC, important thing is what José Mourinho thinks about RLC readiness to play first team football!

t.k - I agree that Luis is effective going forward and has an excellent moving and dead ball strike but his defensive qualities are poor. He gets dragged all over the place whereas 'Dave' playing off his wrong foot does not.

Hey guys, the rumours of Ramires getting a new contract make me content. I would prefer to keep Mikel, sell Ramires, and sign another midfeilder , then Use Ake and youth players

Witsel
Mikel
Ake
RLC

i think that's a strong midfeild, looking at it maybe Ramires instead of Mikel and it looks strong! I really rate Ake, more than RLC, so I really hope he gets gametime next year

I think Ake will go out on loan. Witsel seemingly going to AC Milan too. I think Mikel will move, Ramires may well stay - there is also van Ginkel to return from loan (as well as Chalobah/Baker).

In short, who knows?!

It looks like Matic, Cesc, RLC and Ramires will definitely be 4 of them the other remains to be seen if Mikel stays. I'd be happy for him to stay to partner RLC in cup games.

You won't ever find another Ramires!! Mikes os always replaceable. And Romeu and van ginkel are coming back. Ake will be loaned.

I'd rather see Mikel staying than Ramires tbh. He's dependable and does his job well. It's a very specific job, and not a glorious one, but he does it well. With Ramires you never know what you're going to see.

FFS Barry, the Eds(especially 002) share concrete info when they have it. If you were an avid follower of this site you would realise that it's not just about going and buying a player, there is far more to it. And , the club will not be held to ransom or pay over the odds for anyone out there. It has worked wonderfully well the last couple of windows! Have faith and patience my friend
