why don't we do a deal with santos , something like 25 million now , 10 million in November and 15million in januarry , would love him here

I think we have done some good buisness this summer, getting in some promising players for the future, but I would still like to see at least one more player for the first/senior as i feel at the moment we have no plan b.
Yeah I was hoping we could get another signing or two and offload some of the useless players but it looks like we started our transfer activity too late and this is the squad AVB has to work with
I think Mata will bring something different to the team but hoping we sigm some one else as we still need more flair.

Ed..I am intrigued as to why you have no info on the Modric situation when you are so well informed about the goings on at the club.
I am certainly not being critical merely puzzled.
Is this deal being conducted in a different way to others you can comment on ?
I presume we will make another bid closer to the deadline to test Levy's resolve.
On ssn it says modric is staying at spurs as far as they know after spending the day with daviel levy who has convinsed him to stay somehow
