I want the return of loanees Matej Delac, Kevin De Bruyne & Romelu Lukaku.

Along with the signings of Mamadou Sakho, Luke Shaw (loan back to Soton), Sami Khedira, Ilkay Gundogan, Andre Schurlle and Edinson Cavani. That would mean a 1st team squad comprising Petr Cech, Matej Delac, Ross Turnbull - Ceasar Azpillicueta, Branislav Ivanovic, Mamadou Sakho, Gary Cahill, David Luiz, John Terry, Ashley Cole - Sami Khedira, Ramires, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Frank Lampard, Juan Mata, Oscar - Andre Schurlle, Victor Moses, Eden Hazard, Marko Marin - Edinson Cavani, Demba Ba, Romelu Lukaku. We would be set for years.

Delac, really, why? From what I've seen of him he ain't that great. Mceachran should be in that squad aswell.

Personally I don't think we need Sakho or Khediera. A world class CB such as Varane and where set. Totally agree with the other purchases.

Cavani, Schurrle, Khedira and Inigo Martinez would be good additions. Hopefully with Markovic coming in as well.

cech & courtios to fight it out next year, apparently. which I think is the right thing to do. also van aanholt has been fantastic in holland and deserves a call up. its time for mceachran to play the deep play maker role rotate with oscar. de bruyne has to be recalled, 10 goals 9 assist is pretty damn good, plus he's 2 footed and caplay either wing or centre mid.

Good news.

Lukaku only managed eight league appearances for the Blues in his debut season and the Belgium international admits he would be keen on a move to the Champions League finalists.

"I'll start the season with Chelsea then I will speak with the management to discuss the best choice. I am a realist, " he is quoted as saying in The Sun.

"I still need to grow and for that I need to have time to play during the next season. Dortmund would be a good choice. "

Ed:002. There are reports in the press that Jose will want to bring Courtois back to the club as soon as next season and that in an attempt to keep both him & Cech happy they will share first team games. Something I can't imagine as suiting either.
We all know that when Jose first came to the club Cech was not expected to be first choice that honour was thought to be Carlos. So my question is are the reports about Courtois returning correct and can you see a situation arising where Cech and others such as Luiz would be sold to part fund the re build? {Ed002's Note - Sorry, I have no idea.}

Cech got in when cudicini busted his shoulder. Unlucky or Carlo cech kept a lot of clean sheets.

Hi Ed just a quick question. Thiago Alcantara has a release clause of 90m Euros but that is now 18m euros as he hasn't played the required amount of games to register for the higher release clause.

Do you know if this is true?

Good for them.

With the possible exodus of Aguero, Silva and Tevez, they're going to be eying a lot of players. Not to mention the fact that Dzeko seemed likely to leave aswell under Mancini. Which would leave them striker less.

I don't think reus would be available this summer, though I would prefer him as well. Let's just wait and see what happens. Schurrle is a great talent so wouldn't be a bad buy

Reus only recently moved. Unlikely to move this summer.

Dortmund best side In Europe dunno bout that how often are they in champions league finals or semi finals? Chelsea are consistently amongst it year in year out. We have one of the most ambitious clubs in the world and I'm so proud I'm a chelsea fan.

I just don't find that Reus mata hazard and Oscar would be happy being a squad player.

The post season game was a good, open exhibition match. Loftus-Cheek looked very comfortable with some nice touches and Christensen did very well in defence. Felt a little sorry for Blackman though, coming on for a corner was a bad decision.

So it is looking more and more likely that the special one will be returning to the bridge. ( Daily star etc articles aside ) I said this deal would happen about 5 months ago, and posted it on here, but my rumour never got accepted and published because I presume I mentioned a specific bookmakers and a bet that would not be taken. ( would that be correct ED? Not that I expect you to remember one post ) Anyway, trust that Jose M will be returning to the bridge as manager, and will bring a Madrid player with him. You would have heard it hear first. Thanks ED for your commitment to the site, I always enjoy reading your replies. ( Sorry for the wall )
