Good evening Eds I know everyone bothers each hour minute second with repetitive questions about players, so I'll ask an alternative question having Willian Caudardo Osacr and Hazard I feel like Hazard and Willian both have the speed and smarts to track back and forth and energy levels would Mourinho ever think to add one more speedy type Griezman/Pedro like player! I know we have been linked to them, but aside from those two I feel that's really our missing piece! If we had two guys to attack out wide or one out wide and down the middle we really could do some real damage! Hazard is top class and one more player with the knack for dribbling and passing and we could really be something else! If you look at last years top teams which sorry I don't include PSG, REAL BARCELONA BAYERN( Ribery and ROBBIN were hurt) and Juventus all had a killer three that wreaked havoc on teams! I feel if we had Hazard Costa and . With Cesc Matic Zouma Ramires Loftus Cheek Willian with have many options! Unfortunately Oscar and Cuadrado haven't been able to pull their weight and to be the best we need a solid speedster/scorer to take the load off Hazard and Costa

Agree with you. That's what we lack in the big games. We need another presence in midfield in the big games to give that attacker more freedom. Remember when we had Ballack, Makelele and Lampard also Essien. WOW. We have Fabregas and Matic now who are both world class IMO. But when we're playing champions league quarter finals of like to see another ball playing presence in midfield and preferable not Mikel. I'd obviously like to see Loftus-Cheek be that but it's still early that's why I'd be happy to see Witsel come in as he's good for certain games until RLC gains that experience. That's why I'd then like to see us sign a Bale or Muller.

We need a midfielder that had enough quality that Jose will have no issue rotating his other 3 midfielders. Oscar and fabregas were world class in the first half of the seasons but they were running on fumes at the end and this lead to their quality dropping. Based on the current balance of the midfield we could use a guy who is more than capable defensively so that he could play in either of the double pivot with ease. That would provide us with 4 great options for 3 roles that can all be played by 2 of our midfielders.

At last we are all homing in on that key area for Chelsea, the all important attacking/defensive midfielder. To me Pogba is the perfect fit with Griezmann an alternative albeit a different type of player. Everyone agrees that Fabregas and Oscar on their day are world class but you cannot be world class for half a season so we need that option. Hazard uses his speed and balance superbly but Willian, who I am a huge fan of, does not, often slowing the ball down; he needs to use his pace more and he has an excellent shot in both feet. Although we are quick on the counter I think there is room to sharpen it up further as we need to hit the ground running again this year as it might be difficult to claw back a large deficit.

Im pretty sure the eds have a problem with being asked what mourinho might be thinking or feeling or planning!? Players will need to be sold if any aditions are to be made as far as i'm aware. i'd put my house on just a cb and a lb to join. I think Jose is happy with what he has in the winger department(i would be too tbh). The only player i'd take in is Pogba atm.

I just watched some videos of Azpi from last season. I wanted to say it again, the guy is a maniac on the pitch! We're so lucky to have him play for Chelsea. He presses like a madman, almost never gets beaten 1v1, he's a warrior and so on. Absolute delight to watch him during games. I love it when opposing wingers try to take him on, only to lose the ball. And after 2 or 3 failed attempts to get past him they just switch sides because they often know he's too good. A perfect example of this was Sanchez when we played Arsenal at the Emirates. 2 or 3 failed attempts against Azpi and he moved away from the right.
I absolutely love him, and hope he stays at Chelsea till he retires. What a hero!

Totally agree Jackson.I've said it once and I'll keep saying it, we have the best full back in Europe. I know there's full backs who get forward and supply crosses but in reality the main job is to defend!
Love Azpi - the guy is incredible! He loves Chelsea too, I can't see him ever causing trouble and saying he wants to leave if Real or Barca wanted him.
Not many people realise he tore his ACL when he was at Marseille, but you would never know that watching him now - the guys a beast! :)

Totally agree and he has been a revelation since he joined and improved each season but would you not prefer to see him on his favoured right side where his attacking ability would be useful with his crossing and shot? I know it is unlikely he will be moved at present due to our lack of a genuine left back but I thought that would have been a main priority this season. I don't see Rahman as a ready replacement.

In my opinion the best true fullback in the game now that lahms playing in the midfield. Certain fullbacks get more credit since they play more as wingers than defenders but for my money nobody better in the game than him.

Fantastic player. Best one on one defender in the league. Would like to see him on the right a bit more if Rahman is a success

He has agreed a 5 year deal to join Chelsea. Also hear Mikel wants to stay and see out last 2 years of his contract

I believe ensuring that this deal will go through is the only thing holding up the Luis transfer. I don't imagine the club will take too long as he seems to be the only target for that position.

Moses and Traore played really well in their half against Red Bulls and
The 2 best attacks we had were created by him. Traore is great and he's only 18 so I can wait for him to improve.

Mate it's pre-season the poorer players will look better because they're either playing for a squad place or a good move elsewhere.
