McEachran, Chalobah, Wallace and Piazon will all go on loan. I would like to see Feruz, Loftus-cheek and Baker go on loan also. Plus Boga but think he's too young?

Apparently De Rossi is to have showdown talks with Roma in the next few days with reports saying he is likely to leave.

All this being said just shows how beast the Chelsea squad it is good times being a Chelsea fan

Apart from our defence this could be our team in (let's say) 5 years. All players are already on Chelsea's books and are supremely talented. Throw in McEachran, Izzy Brown, Lewis Baker and Charly Musonda and that could be one hell of a team. Relatively young is well. The future is indeed bright for our team.

I wanted to create a young team. In about 5 years Mata will be 30. I don't by any means suggest he won't be in the team and that he won't be playing. I just wanted to see if we had enough attacking and midfield talent to create a team that will be quite young in 5 years time

True, it's good to think as well the likes of talent we would have in our youth in 5 years, not only would the likes of Chalobah, Ake, Piazon etc. would have developed into first team players, but our youth system in 5 years could see talents even stronger than what we currently have, especially with the funding we have given into our youth.

There is one player I am particularly happy to say goodbye to this year. Not a Chelsea player but I certainly am glad to see him gone.

What squad number do you think Rooney would have if he came? All numbers under 20 gone? I know squad numbers aren't as important as they used to be but I think it will be interesting. 99 maybe?
