And we've sent out keeper Matej Delac and striker Milan Lakovic to Portuguese first division side Vitoria Guimaraes all on season long loans

Thorgan hazard has signed

24 Jul 2012 19:01:00
just curious about what people think if we sign thorgan(for the future), oscar, cavani and a new right back would everyone be happy with our purchases and feel we have enough to compete big

me personally think that would complete our team for atleast 5 years until torres and cavani hit there 30's and lukaku can step up

5 years time

cech/courtois

azil cahill luiz bertrand

rami josh

oscar mata hazard

lukaku

cech as captain??

subs cech/courtois, piazon, thorgan hazard, van annholt, chabloah, kakuta(if he makes something of himself) and mikel (be late 20's can be used as back up)

what do people think ?

curt

Believable4 Unbelievable8

In 5 years i expect Lucas Piazon to be rooted in the starting 11

Agree7 Disagree1

I would be a bit worried if we didnt sign anyone for 5 years

CT13

Agree6 Disagree1

I would be very happy if we bring in Thorgan, Cavani, Azilipcueta (really need to learn how to spell his name) and Oscar, i think that would be a fantastic transfer window as long as we sell a couple as well.

Agree2 Disagree0

Think you spelt that correctly and i know we will sign people over the 5 years but my point was we have a competitive squad now for many years

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I would hope we have romeu on the bench instead of mikel.

Blue con

Agree2 Disagree2

Cech won't be starting for us in 5 years time.

IB.

Agree2 Disagree1

People seem to love mikel even though hes alright at defending games but pointless to have on the field when attacking. hell be changed next year he aint good enough.

Agree3 Disagree4

That's ridiculous! would you say Claude Makelele was needed for attacking???
no but he was one of our key men for the Mourinho years, i'm not comparing the 2 of them just stating how important it has been to us over the years to have someone in the defensive midfield position. Mikel is only 25 and has been a good servant to us so give him a break.

Agree2 Disagree1

5 years lukaku should be one of the best strikers in the world

Agree0 Disagree1

IB 5 years time cech will be what 33/34 how have you worked out he wont be starting then van der sar retired at what 40 ?

Agree1 Disagree2

Cech will be 35 by then. I've just got a feeling he'll be replaced by Courtois or another by then.

IB.

Agree2 Disagree0

You may well be right to be fair especially if courtois carries on the way he has been

cech would probably be the back up keeper and cup keeper

I have just taken a call from Mr F Marin who has moved to Frimley to suport his son after his move to chelsea this summer.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Some nice pubs in Frimley, he'll like it there.

hi ed, this summer window is really turning out to fruitful with the recent transfers and those on the way. in my view the coming season, we would surely be the side to beat.
cech
ivanovic luiz/sam terry/cahill cole/bertnard

lamps/romeu mikel/oscar
rami/hulk mata/marin hazzard/kevin

torres
i ve considered hulk and oscar because they will be signed after the olympics. a striker and a rb we will be able to play out of the world.
ed with man u strengthening their squad, spurs willing to after the sale of modric and city already there which clubs look to be challenging for the title and among them to take the cup in your view.
it is very tough on you ed now that the window is on the full swing but thanks to you from all corners of my heart for running this terrific site and hard that you put in, we all should salute you.

michael

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Hulk or a striker, not both

trueblue012

Agree2 Disagree1

Hulk! hulk! hulk!

Agree1 Disagree2

Sam isnt good enough to be one of our defenders and ur wasting rami's talent on the wing

Agree3 Disagree0

Hutch is class mate, your blind, he takes no sh*t and gets the ball out of the danger zone, don't forget he retired not long ago.

trueblue012

Agree1 Disagree3

You deffinately throw the word class around too much trueblue

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not trying to say he played amazingly well, just saying give him a chance, you've probably seen him play twice and are writing him off already

trueblue012

Agree1 Disagree1

Nah iv seen him way too much to know hes not "class" but maybe he should be given a chance just not in important matches

Agree1 Disagree0

He ll be a decent squad player as long as he stays fit but I do see him struggling to adapt to our new fluid style of play next season .

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jul 2012 18:34:53
Do u expect to see Mata and torres play tomorrow ? {Ed018's Note - Maybe Torres but Mata is at the Olympics and Im not really sure when their first match is but he will start in it}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Are you a true chelsea supporter ?

Agree4 Disagree0

I doubt Torres will play tomorrow, i can see him playing against Milan in Miami at the weekend

Agree0 Disagree2

Rdm has today said torres will not play tomorrow

Agree1 Disagree0

Torres will have all of next season to play lukaku wont :D

Agree1 Disagree0

Cech

Iva.*Cahill*Terry*Cole

Ramires*Essien

Oscar*Mata*Hazard

Torres

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Really good team but id rather Marin than Oscar.

Blue con

Agree0 Disagree1

I would rather wish football was 12 vs 12 so we could play oscar and marin

Agree4 Disagree2

What if hulk comes? 13 v 13

Agree5 Disagree0

Go on youtube then u will see Oscar provides some scary assistance from that right hand side..Marin left because those channels that he runs creates uncertainty for the defenders weather he's going to shoot or square the ball

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't see the need for Chelsea to get Moses. Rumours today are saying we are closer to agreeing a deal with Wigan, but I think he's not needed with the number of attacking miss we have plus Potentially Oscar and I don't think he is as good as Sturridge for the striker role. Our priorities right now should be a RB and a real top quality striker. So IMO waist of £10m.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I think its actually a decent addition to the squad! Weve got lots of games this season after our epic champions league win :)

CT13

Agree1 Disagree1

Ye but still too many for 3 attacking mid roles. We are only going to have about 5 more games compared to last season...? Not worth another player

Agree0 Disagree0

We have Malouda, Marin, mata, De Bruyne, hazard, Piazon, Benayoun, Sturridge, and Ramires who can play in the trio behind the striker. I think that's plenty....!

Agree2 Disagree0

You got to remeber the cups (fa cup and capital) thats when hazard and co shud be rested and moses plays

Agree1 Disagree0

We've already got enough, especially if Oscar comes, to rest players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Malouda going, benayoun going, de bruyne loan, sturridge is s*** thats 4 less of a worry. the board & management no wt thr doing!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's true that you don't need around 9 players competing for 3 positions.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sturridge is better than Moses!!!!

Agree3 Disagree4

No we dont have enough to rest players we have young talent that arent ready for the games yet moses is a regular at wigan i would rather him play than someone like kakuta

Agree0 Disagree3

Presumably ur saying that our 'young talent' arent ready to play yet in the capital one cup and FA cup. Well if they ain't ready to play against Doncaster Rovers they will never be ready! Note How Kakuta ain't in the list above.

Agree0 Disagree0

No there not ready to play yet hence why alot of them are going on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

So ur just going to buy a player when in a year out youngsters will be better....?

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know there guna be better u dont know what moses could do at chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO he ain't needed period.

Agree3 Disagree2

Ed how long has our interest in Oscar been?

Jim {Ed018's Note - I'm not sure but probably started around the time he scored that hatrick in the, I believe U-21 World Cup final.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did Oscar nearly sign for qpr in January ? {Ed018's Note - Not that I know of. Would find that very hard to believe}

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2012 13:41:37
Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the link between Moura and Man u? I personally do not believe it to be true.If I am correct we had a higher bid rejected,so why should they accept a lower bid!
roan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Only thing i can think of is certain people are looking more at history and less at present

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2012 13:40:33
Looks like Cavani could be on his way to Chelsea. I will be relatively happy if the transfer goes through, however I would have preferred Falcao if we were to bring in another top class striker. The reason being that I feel Falcao is much better at holding up the ball and is a fantastic passer, whereas Cavani's passing is quite lose at times and his touch ain't great. Falcao has also shown last year that he can handle the pressures of a big price tag on his shoulders plus Atletico Madrid play a similiar system to what I expect we play next year. For all of you who say that Falcao is not for sale well Atletico would listen to offers in the £35 - £40m region due to their enormous debt. So all in all I would have prefferred Falcao for the same sort of money, however I won't be complaining if Cavani joins.

I reckon we should sign Gerard Deulofeu to have the RAM/RW spot covered for the next 10 years (maybe even longer)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Are u serious! Wasn't RDM good enuf winning the double! Fans like u do my canister in!

Pinky

Agree1 Disagree3

Pinky, that makes no sense?

Agree2 Disagree0

What has deulofeu got to do with di matteo ??

you know hes a player not a manager right?

its a bit rich you saying 'fans like you'

your last 2 posts iv seen have been banging on about signing one season wonder van persie and some other rubbish i nearly fell asleep reading

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm almost certain suggesting a new option for RW isn't having a pop at RDM :)

Gary

Agree2 Disagree0

Pinky was obviously responding to the post below.

IB.

Agree2 Disagree0

I'm guessing Pinky's response was meant for the post below this in reference to why we didn't go after Redknapp.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pinks post was for the one bellow about some muppet askin why we didn't get Harry redknap in. BLUEBOY1

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this goes into the category of RTFPB ... read the ******* post BELOW! some people are too quick to post when they see a chance to slaughter someone, stop, think .... think again, then hit enter.

spread the love :)

Agree0 Disagree1

Or maybe aim that at pinky and stop, check its the right post, check again, dont open yourself to a slaughthering and then post :D

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2012 03:07:39
why did chelsea not go after Harry Redknapp when he got sacked .

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Because he's poop. I'd rather have rdm, he's Chelsea through and through.

Agree3 Disagree0

Di Matteo got the job a week before the sacked Redknapp.

Agree4 Disagree1

Because redknapp is nearly as corrupt as don king is in boxing

hi trev iv been back for about 2 days now

wana know the funny thing i havent been putting my name on posts and everyone has agreed

the moment i put my name on the post people disagree lol funny that

look people we had problem in the past and its probably mostly my fault so can we put the past behind us

if you genuinely dont agree with me on something fair enough but dont disagree because its me posting

also ed 002 i was wrong for wot i said to upset you i hope the past can be past because i really do appreciate the job you do

curt

Believable10 Unbelievable10

Oh okay what do you make of the summer dealings so far

Agree1 Disagree1

Forgot to sign
trev

Agree0 Disagree1

Well curt, to be honest I knew the posts that were yours ( cause you don't use punctuations ).

And personallly I have nothing against you and I think most of the time when it concerns footballing matters you post sensibly, so welcome back.

ELI

Agree3 Disagree3

Bloody he'll thought we got rid of you! Bring back Shed End now there's a guy that actually talks sense.

FT9

Agree3 Disagree1

Yer im too lazy to post properly with punctuations

i appreciate the coment eli

erm so far well i had my doubts about hazard (attitude wise) as you know from months ago and to be honest marin i wasnt sure on but after watching chelsea play seattle and PSG they both have shut me up on that one would love oscar to join

been saying all of yesterday moura is too overrated not bothered if he doesnt sign think hes too greedy maybe just his age though

sign a right back and then if torres cant find form by january go all out for a new striker

Agree3 Disagree4

Oh FT9 FT9 FT9

silly silly boy maybe one day your grow up to be mature

i cant talk that much rubbish considering yesterday all my posts have agrees and no disagrees lol tool

Agree1 Disagree3

There's no point in waiting until January to sign another striker. Business is notoriously harder to complete in that window and clubs are less likely to let players move part way through the season.

Now is the time.

IB.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes that is a good point there IB if torres gets stroppy about it then start performing and earn your slot on the team sheet

curt

Agree3 Disagree2

Exactly. Welcome back.

Has thorgan hazard signed yet? And will Chelsea pay the 10m for Moses in your opinion?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Hope not!

Agree3 Disagree0

Which part of that are you saying hope not too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Moses.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ah thought as much i want thorgan to join

I just wanted to know how much we offered for Lucas Moura...as it seems Man Poo are getting him for around £26m?

Also in my opinion he looks a better player than Oscar at the moment although I could see him being another Robinho where as Oscar looks like a hybrid of Lampard and Modric. Good with both feet, suprisingly strong for his frame, great long range passing and an eye for a goal like Super Frank but also pin point short passing, movement is excellent, good awareness and really unselfish like Modric.

Can't wait to see him, Hazard & Mata line up behind Torres!!

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Dude oscar is better than moura

moura doesnt understand what passing means

Agree5 Disagree3

Dude? Moura would fit in better seen as he plays right wing and we already have enough attacking mids...ok dude

Agree1 Disagree1

You didnt understand the point that oscar is better plus oscar hazard and mata can all play the wings and marin too

we do not need moura when hes worse than oscar

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Jul 2012 23:18:50
Hey ed, just a quick question. When is Torres meeting up with the rest of the squad. thanks =] {Ed018's Note - he's there now}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

23 Jul 2012 22:05:56
what about Jack Rodwell as our CDM, hes english, strong, tidy passing game and has a lot of potential which we could help fulfill
ChelseaL

Believable2 Unbelievable2

And also constantly injured

Agree5 Disagree0

Yes and no mate he could be good i think he seriously would need a loan if he come to us to get better

curt

Agree1 Disagree4

I think he's in a similar area to McEachran of not quite ready for consistent first team football. Also you have to deal with injuries and evertons price both of which make it unreadable at this point.

Tk

Agree1 Disagree1

Mceachran will be class if played
