Hi ed002, merry Christmas to you! In anticipation that the Chelsea podcast won't be landing before tomorrow, would you be open to giving any hints who (if anyone) the club are looking at to replace Oscar in the winter transfer window?

Hi guys was just thinking, would any of you take Lampard back till the end of the season? I don't believe we need to buy an expensive replacement for oscar as we barely used it. Also taking lampard on 6 months contract may let him finish his playing days at his beloved club (hopefully terry can finish his career too after this season, so both of them will receive nice goodbye by winning a title this season)
Also I still believe that Lampard can bring something to the team with his experience and also wouldn't cost us anything, maybe even score a goal or two!

Would rather see Baker recalled. Lamps is a legend and always will be, but we need to look forwards.

Yeah but baker can still develop on loand till mext season starts, it would be a short term replacement for 6 months till the summer.

I would be delighted if Franky came back for the second half of the season, even if he only made a few small cameo appearances it would be great. His presence in the dressing would be a huge plus point, he is a winner and and has experienced the position our squad is in now on many occasions.
Plus it would be a nice touch by the club to give him a proper chance to say goodbye to fans, something he was robbed of when he last left.

I love lampard but I don't see where or when he'd play. Even if we assume Mikel leaves, we still have 4 CM's with Chalobah, RLC and even Fabregas barely getting any minutes at all.

Rlc I'm sorry but never gets played in his position he's played all his life. He isn't a number 10 and he isn't a striker.
