My worry is we will come second in group
We can't play another english team and city liverpool and united will probably win there groups so we will end up playing Barcelona real or bayern in knockout stage.

I really don't like this new format whereby the champions are all put into pot 1. I much preferred it the old way where it was purely based on coefficient.

Agreed. Although luckily Kante is still fairly young and won't need to change his game for a few more years. Which is good news because he's simply the best at what he does currently.

We should definitely look to bring Makelele back to the club as a coach. He's been working with Bakayoko (who says that Makelele has had a massive influence on him) and I believe he'd be able to have a similar effect on Kante.

Reports that Juventus are looking at Cahill (yes I can't believe it myself), but if this is true and we let Cahill go and sign Van Dijk. That would be a great bit of business.
Or maybe Cahill could be involved as part of the Sandro deal. I have mixed feelings about Sandro though. A. Because he's a great player.
B. Because Alonso has done nothing wrong in the year he's been with us, he's been a revelation at LWB and it would be sad to see him dropped to the bench.

I doubt that Cahill will want to go Juventus (cos English players don't like to leave their shores) BUT if he wants to go I one hundred percent support he goes to Juventus if it will mean Chelsea getting Alex Sandro.
(I THINK THERE MIGHT BE A CHANCE THAT CHELSEA WILL SIGN ALEX SANDRO. FINGERS CROSSED ON THAT DEAL, IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO THIS STORY) .

Hey Ed001 not sure if it was you that watches la liga what's your thoughts on Llorente? Seen it a few places today that Madrid will not sell but I've no idea what he's like and I don't judge players by two minute youtube clips. Just thought I'd ask your opinion of him.
{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen a lot of him myself sorry. I do know he is not particularly highly rated in Spain and is seen as only getting a game because they are so weak in that one area of midfield. However that does not mean much, Madridistas are not known for being knowledgeable fans!}

Ed002 is taking a sabbatical at the moment and we miss him. Any chance of Chelsea update as not much seems to be happening. All rumours are ' Chelsea interested ' but nothing's moving forward.
