Hahahaha! Brilliant find that! Almost gets into the song hall of fame along with the Willian Song and also Oops I hit him again (A Suarez parody that is very clever haha!)
Oh and for the process or BS, utter BS for LVG, Pedro is good friends with Valdes and apparently he told him Van Gaal is a monster!

So what big transfers can everyone see happening then? For me it will be the following:

Chelsea: Stones
Out: Moses and Oscar (PSG)
Man U: Ibramovic
Man city: De Byrune
Arsenal: Nobody

This is just a bit of fun and a gut feeling so don't slate me people. Feel free to post your thoughts below.

I am not really interested in what others do. Chelsea's outs: Moses, Marin, Cuadrado, jury out on what Remy wants to do as he has options, Ramires only as a dealmaker with either Juventus if anything is on with Pogba and the same with Real Madrid and Varane. However, what if Chelsea fail to sign anyone in this window? We have until January to alter things before it opens again, what do we do? I would have Rahman in on the left and Azi on the right, with Zouma alongside Terry (we have rotation with Cahill and Ivanovic), Matic and Oscar alongside, Hazard, Fabregas and Pedro with Costa up front. I know there will be a hundred and one differing opinions but.

Dont put hope in the winter transfer market. U do it now or u wait until next year with more time to prepare and more time to fit in the team. Except buying a player that valuable and in form in the winter market, a panic solution usually won't end well.

Why would Juve sell Pogba? They have already lost Vidal and Pirlo; they are Italian champions; they don't need the money. Pogba will go next summer to Barca. Move on.

Believable1 Unbelievable7

24 Aug 2015 10:21:52
Don't assume that all the time. I agree that there is a big chance that Pogba would come to Barca if Juventus open an auction next year. NEXT YEAR mate, not NOW.

There are reasons that Chelsea keep trying too:
- Our squad is in problem and we really want to improve(buy new players)

- Why would Juventus want to wait for another year if Chelsea could offer the deal that Juventus want to get for selling Pogba?

- Another reason is that the market is changing constantly- there will be nothing to ensure that Pogba is still that hot next summer (fall in form, long - term injury). Last year, Destro was offered to us with the price of 20 mil, and now he changes to another Italian club with only 9mil.

At I can say is that at the right price and the right offered salary - Pogba will be available. Maybe Chelsea is testing the water/ bargaining or even negotiating for the best we can reduce.

The bottom line is that this late in the transfer window Juve would be left short in midfield - which is why Oscar and Willian have been thrown in the mix. But I work for a Spanish company and spend a lot of time working in Barcelona and the word there is that Pogba is a done deal.

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Aug 2015 18:28:50
It can't be a done deal. Even in the Barcelona chairman election recenty, the candidates still used the relations with Pogba agent - Juve president as an advantage to gain more vote ( the runner up Laporta used is his relation with Juventus President and board as a factor to persuade voter). Furthermore, if its a done deal, Chelsea won't try that much for Pogba already. ( like the time Neymar is a done deal with the right to buy from Barce, nobody made a bid for him).

I just agree that Barcelona could be a favorable choice for the auction next year cause their financial base are super strong - especially after a year of transfer ban. They got talent players and strong squad that every player want to join and easy to win trophy.

Wow, Mrs Costa, is Mr Costa using your acc as well cause one minute the glass is half full, the next half empty. You're contradictory posts are hard to follow sometimes my friend.

25 Aug 2015 20:13:23
Mrs.Costa is absolutely right, if we somehow manage to sign Pogba you can bet Oscar will be moving to Juventus. Or maybe Ramires.

To me it's like everyone or most say we need someone next to matic everyone's first choice must be Pogba (mine) as well but think the package to get him will just pull out but I do think in the long run if we are to stay up there with the big boys we need to pull it off just like when we signed hazard. For me I think terry will struggle to get back into the side now without getting abuse I think Jose will be grateful in away that there is a ban for him now and it's a spring board to work off and terry will struggle to get back in. ivanovic is not good enough now bring Dave over and Rahman at left back, pedro looks good but I think we all new he was good, Willian doesn't do it for me would have someone who scores more and has less wrk rate (my opinion). Do wish we would give Falcao abit longer maybe even start him, but back to the top somebody next to matic if not Pogba ed018 is witsel an option? Who else is available

Believable0 Unbelievable2

24 Aug 2015 07:23:25
Obviously pogba would be best fit but if not I think verrati would be good. Willian was again disappointing and I think fabregas can blow hot and cold so ideally I would also love to bring in isco. Lacazette has been linked so if we got him and swapped out remy I think he would be proper back up or competition to Falcao. Lastly if we could get in stones or varane thing our team would be complete. Obviously I doubt that this would all happen in this window but think it should be what the club should work towards. To summarise out: ramires, Willian, cuadrado, remy, moses, mikel. In: isco, lacazette, pogba/verrati, varane/stones. What are other people's thoughts?

24 Aug 2015 08:56:15
Obviously meant Costa not Falcao!

I don't agree that Willian was disappointing - he may have missed a sitter but he bossed the midfield prior to the sending off.

First of all I would like to thank ed018 for all his great work on the page. But I was wondering what was going on with stones and whether you knew we would put in another bid or not.
Thanks in advance

{Ed018's Note - I've got ask. How many posts are you gonna send in asking the same thing?}

I sent the first post a while ago and assumed it hadn't got through so I sent another. I didn't intend for you to get a lot of the same question

I know we all have our "wishlist" of players, but c'mon guys, have a bit of patience! Not one of these transfers "happen overnight". Pedro for instance was on our "wanted" list last window according to the Ed's, yet it has taken months for this to happen. There is sooo much more to a transfer than just pay the club and the player what they want and get it done.
We want Stones, everyone knows it, but as Situation so correctly posted a while ago, we're not going to pay "over the odds" or be "held to ransom" by clubs just because we are Chelsea. We have the money because we don't do the stupid deals any longer and are complying with "the rules" hence the so called renewed interest in Varane(to make Everton aware that only Three clubs in England can pay the transfer fee being touted, (United, The Arse and us)City are done and dusted, the Arse won't pay and Manure are exactly that. We are his only option really, and we'll pay a fair price or he'll rot in Europa League(if he's lucky).
I think our club is playing it right, nothing is done on "a whim" any longer.
Abit of a rant, sorry guys lol

Just as a note, as I'm sure many Chelsea fans aren't aware of the history behind the term. The term manure, refering to United, was coined by opposition supporters after the Munich air crash that killed a heap of United players back in the 50's(?).

Not telling you not to use it, as its up to you what you say, but generally education negates ignorance.

Which chelsea kit should I get; Blue White it Back and who should I get on the back? I'm thinking blue with either Willian, Oscar or Pedro

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Aug 2015 00:32:42
You can get pedro as the lad will stay for sure, where other 2 still may be sold (oscar have a big chance I believe)

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 09:48:34
My brother just got the white one with pedro on the back from the Kingston Chelsea megastore. Places like sports direct don't do the navy printing so ideally I'd get it from a Chelsea megastore or online even though it's a bit more expensive. I'd stick to blue or white, personally never been a fan of the black kits

Don't get those away shorts - they look like you've rolled around on the touchline and got paint all over them!

First chance I had to watch today's game was on MOTD tonight.

Obviously Pedro looked good, great debut with the goal and the assist - if he continues to put balls into the box like the one for Costa's goal then the later will thrive. I thought Costa looked extremely lively, defo seemed to be his best performance of the season so far. Willian looked good too, it was a lovely pass for Pedro that lead to Costa's goal.

Now the bad, Ivanovic again seemed to be targeted and was pulled all over the place for both of West Brom's goals. If he continues to be picked his lack of pace will continue to be targeted. Rahman can't be far away from the starting lineup.

Most important thing today was the win, the three points. let's hope we push on from here.

24 Aug 2015 00:12:12
Did you not think the assist was a scuffed shot, J?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 00:51:08
I think it was a ball powered towards the back post, maybe going for the goal but he put the ball into the right area; which is something we haven't done up to now this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 09:50:20
Definitely a shot lol, matic switched off for the first goal which was a bit of a concern given how heavily we rely on him

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 10:04:56
Haha come on it was a poor shot that happened to fall right to Costa. I remember our fans trying to claim a few of Di Maria's assists as great balls when they were clearly shots - Everton game springs to mind.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 11:22:40
That's why you shoot towards the back post and across the face of the goal, for that exact reason, screw your shot and the ball will still go into a dangerous area across the face of the goal. Chelsea's offensive problems this season have been based around failure to put the ball into dangerous areas. Shot (yes definitely a shot) or cross it put the ball into a dangerous area and resulted in a goal.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Aug 2015 12:14:32
So he intentionally shot towards the back post so that if he were to miss somebody else can put it in? Pull the other one. He had a good game, leave it at that.

24 Aug 2015 14:51:35
You teach footballers to strike across the keeper for that exact reason! It's pretty basic football coaching, go over your local park and you'll see it being thought - maybe learn something!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 09:34:38
No, you teach footballers to strike across the keeper because if you fire at the near post you significantly reduce your target, it is pretty simple to understand. Take of the Blue specs for a sec and just accept it, he scuffed his shot and luckily it landed at your strikers feet. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a homer bud we all do it.
