Just wondering, with two new signings that will perhaps not be automatic starters. Will there contracts have clauses written in them regarding playing time?
Its extremely hard for that to be a clause in a contract? What if their form dips? Chelsea still have to play them?

Glad to see all is back to normal on our sites. What a great time to be a Chelsea fan!! God Bless Roman, we are so lucky to have an owner who in one window can drop over a 100 mil and help change our team over and get us young and exciting and able to compete for years to come for all trophies. Great depth and bench strength as well and good young players being loaned out! With the signing of a world class striker before the deadline this would have to go down as one of the greatest transfer windows of all time ( Hazard, Oscar, Marin, Moses , Azpilicueta + striker)... Let's just enjoy it all with class guys as we know it can all change quickly enough!! GO BLUES!!!

As touched on in a previous post I think sturridges attitude is a real problem...he's a decent player but doesn't see anybody but himself, the amount of goal we haven't scored because he diesnt get his head up ir decides to shoot is scary. I for one wouldn't be sorry to see him leave, it's a shame he's homegrown though...
Strurridge has an immense talent and is a versatile player. Understandably at a young age he wants to play, and what more can he do; he was sent out on loan and scored a lot of goals; he was played on the Wong and scored a lot of goals. I mean what does the lad have to do. He can beat people with ease and he's young so the issue with selfishness as he matures as a player. I mean jeeeez give the lad a break! No one is slating Ramires cause he had a shot and didn't pass to Torres!
Ive never liked him myself but if he can pass like he has shown i think quick attacking football is going to suit him well. BLUEBOY1

Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic.
The 21-year-old winger's last appearance in Wigan colours came in Chelsea's 2-0 win at the DW Stadium last weekend, when he caught the eye with his strong running out wide.
The Nigerian international is a product of the Crystal Palace youth academy and made his first team debut in late 2007.
After establishing himself with the Championship side, Moses transferred to Wigan at the end of January 2010 and quickly settled into life in the Barclays Premier League.
In total he played 74 league games for the Latics, following 58 for Crystal Palace.
At international level, Moses appeared for England from schoolboy up to Under 21, but has opted to represent Nigeria at senior level, and made his debut in February against Rwanda.

Ed,your veiw on Ramires playing on the right?I think we are wasting him there.He is not the best passer of the ball,but his energy is electric.He would give the much needed drive in the midfield.I do hope Marin and Moses start very well that would force RDM to play Ramires in the middle, Mikel, Lamps or Essien as the DM .

everybody from the top officials in chelsea to a random fan knows that we need a striker because no one will be content with torres and sturridge unless we are ready to play with a 4-6 formation(which will clearly not happen)......so we will buy a striker and with cheaper options of shurlle and jovetic not looking likely we just might end up overpaying for hulk/cavani.
I am content with torres and sturridge.

I think that we will sign our striker by this week. Cavani or Hulk. But on the deadline day I have a weird feeling that we will sign someone big and unexpected. Someone who hasn't been strongly linked.........Preferably a CDM in place of Mikel

I doubt that Ivanovic will play at CB as he rarely does, luiz won't start he's been injured. I reckon it will be more or less the team that started against Reading with maybe oscar in a holding role. He sort of played there when mikel came off and did alright.

Atmosphere in the Shed is always brilliant, sing your heart out and keep the blue flag flying high :) Bring a camera because I think Moses and Azpiliceuta will be paraded to fans before the Game. And sing out anthem before the Game, we always seem to win whenever "Blue is the Colour" is sung before the game. Above all, enjoy it mate, you are going to see two quality teams who are both top-premier league standard take each other on :D

Nobody is being carryed. Dont get me wrong i did hate mikel as much as anyone but to be honest he played well agaist readin broke play up and keeped it simple.Torres is in the right places but been alittle unfortunate. Lamps is spraying ball around quite well. Terry, ok he is the slowest player in the league but his reading of the game and organising is the best in the league.Yeah we need another striker, but firstly support the players we have and stop getting on their backs after two game. Everyone who is slating any of the eds in the last few weeks, do the decent thing and stop doubting them. They haven't been wrong with a transfer and I remember they told us about Moses/Azpilicueta about 2 months ago.

He is a step up from Bosingwa. So he is good defensively but like most side backs nowadays he is a lot better offensively. His crosses are also better than Bosingwas, he is not as quick but he is tactically sound in terms of working with his team mates and his awareness , he would still need to I'm prove but again what I've seen and the little I've watched he could turn out to be a bargain .Hope that helps.

We are not going to rely on him, he has been bought in as a squad player to replace Kalou. To say a 21 year old who has a couple of years of Premier league experience under his belt is not good enough is ridiculous. He also played for 2 seasons in the championship at Palace before that, so has been playing first team football since he was 17. He is home grown, which is an important consideration and can play either out wide or through the middle (also and important consideration considering the number of strikers in the squad at present). Most of the times I have seen him play he has looked a handful and I think he is great singing personally.

He's been signed as a replacement for Kalou and I think we'd all agree he's a step up. Add to that the fact he's much younger and counts as a home grown player I think he's a very good signing and he'll be an important squad member

Moses riped up arsenal both home and away last season. Ten times better than kalou, so should be good for the squad.Also moses stays really wide right and gives us natural width which we lack as all the new guys want to play the no.10 role. Hazard and Mata have been great but both like the cut inside.Supported club since early 80s and this is the best squad weve had. Webster

just wondering what your views would be on say Eden Hazard having a good season and then being pursued by a big spanish club, say if he pushed a deal through to make it happen (a la Van Persie) after like 1 good season,
would you guys be okay with that/would you justify the amount you spent on him for just 1 good season was a good idea?
i personally have a gut feeling that this will happen lads, he's only using an english club with big wages to show off and provide a platform for a move to a bigger club

I may be permitted to write couple of words. First of all about -ED002. I always appreciated your attitude towards the site and in general towards the CHELSEA fans. Without your information ED002 the site became very chaotic ,like around unattended place grows all kind weeds-there are so many questions from the people from other teams and I see they are happy that we are without ED002. Very seldom ED018. Thank you mate. There is no answer for the questions which really interests us. Despite the asking, to come back and don't pay attention to the stupid sayings, you ED002 still are not back. It looks like the school master punishment-when all the children are punished because of bad behaviour of some of them. We really don't deserve it ED002.
The more time you need to return ED002, the more painful it will be for CHELSEA fans.
