Kenedy and RLC were fantastic but Mikel and Ramy gave us a solid platform to perform. A lot of numbnuts talk about those two players with nothing but disrespect but they are Chelsea through and through. Good support on a cold night.

Well said. Mikel gets treated like a rival player!

It's disgusting!

23 Sep 2015 22:29:25
I am Chelsea through and through but it doesn't make me a good player. Mikel should have left years ago he is simply not good enough.

Agree3 Disagree3

23 Sep 2015 22:46:05
yeah mikel has been spectating in our team for too long and getting good money for doing a mediocre job. so of course he wouldn't want to leave if he's getting all those medals without contributing much to the success while chilling out most of the time and earning good money. why on earth would he leave? I really don't see how some fans can praise him for being 'loyal'. that's rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Sep 2015 23:35:27
The assist of RLC is really amazing - full or surprise and precisely. We not usually see something like that except from Barcelona player.

24 Sep 2015 00:27:00
Fahim, he played for the team when his father had been kidnapped. He played through that, and you claim he's not loyal and only does it for money and medals.

What a joke.

24 Sep 2015 00:30:16
Mikel is an absolute master at what he does, the club also think he's somewhat good at what he does, and not 'useless' like the posters on here seem to think. Favourite chelsea player for me

Agree3 Disagree0

24 Sep 2015 10:27:27
Mikel favourite Chelsea player? That's a new one. I've never seen a person with mikel on the back of a shirt and I've even seen a Chelsea shirt with Robinho on the back!

Most under appreciated player there is rvd!

Agree2 Disagree1

24 Sep 2015 18:27:11
I wouldn't say under-appreciated. more like marmite. He divides opinion, end of.

23 Sep 2015 21:02:48
We play so much better in a 4-3-3 I tell you. Loftus-Cheek needs to play against Newcastle. The futures bright for us don't care if we are play Walsall. Zouma, Baba, Loftus-Cheek and Kenedy. If we can get goal scorers out of Pedro and Kenedy who can also work hard for the team I'd happily move on Willian who can't shoot to save his life.

ivanovic has seriously gone pants now. what the hell happened to him? can't even have a good game againts a lower ranked team. he better not start against newcastle away otherwise we're effed!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

23 Sep 2015 21:33:36
Waste of time saying that although I agree. Mourinho loves him and he won't be dropped.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:43:55
Have you even watched the game? He was solid enough.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Sep 2015 22:30:31
of course I watched the game. ivanovic was once again very poor especially in the first half. it was his silly foul towards the end of the first half that gave away the free kick in which they scored from. second half he was just standard and that was mainly due to walsall pretty mucg giving up.

overall, I just don't want him playing against newcastle away they're going to attack the she*p out of our right flank and expose him and I only say this based on all of his matches this season. the guy is simply out of form. and he still is.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Sep 2015 04:19:15
You're right Fahim, he was our worst player and was beaten on at least 3 occasions but that's not the full story it's the fact that the other parts of his game are not good, he turns the ball over, not a good passer and can't cross to save his life. Besides his physicality on set pieces, I struggle to see what he offers in his current form. Baba for example wasn't that great defensively in that match but you could see perhaps his best quality in that he should have had 3 assists as he created 3 of the best chances from our left side since Hazard was at his best last season. Falcao wasted 2 of them, he should have easily scored 5 goals.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Sep 2015 12:03:22
It's simple . Iva needs to be dropped and give Baba Rahman a chance. I see Iva leaving at the end of the season.

Don't get me wrong Iva has been an absolute legend with some very important goals but there does comes a time when u need to let the future a chance.

Mikel absolutely bossing this game.

What's everyone's thoughts on Gary Cahill! Is he good enough to to play week in week out at Chelsea! I have mixed feeling about him myself some times he's great sometimes not. Is there better options out there? Never to much said about him on hear so interesting to get some opinions

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Sep 2015 21:33:01
I agree there's question marks about him, but he's been really good this season so him and Zouma should stay CB for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 21:34:22
There are certainly better options, but I feel that Zouma-Cahill is currently our best centre back pairing.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 22:13:36
I personally think he looks especially shaky this season.

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Sep 2015 00:27:22
I think you nailed it when saying are there better options. The answer is yes there are better options but these options weren't available for acquisition. As things stand he's a very solid #3 at worst who is very committed to the club and isn't going to throw his toys out the prem if he doesn't start every game.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Sep 2015 10:30:10
He's one of the best people in the world to just throw his body in the way of the ball to block it along with Terry. He's dedicated and experienced. He sometimes switches off be I think Zouma and Cahill is the way to go. Both have significantly more pace than Terry too

I don't mean to offend anyone but this is why women should should be left to their own game when it comes to very passionate stressful job in the men's side of world football. If Dr. Craniero was a male and given the same situation we would not of heard anything the next day let alone a month later. What happened whether Jose was right or wrong, who cares. Move on, forget it and do your job.

{Ed002's Note - What you mean is ifd she was a 60 year old hairy Hungarian guy, would there still be this fuss?}

23 Sep 2015 16:11:37
I'm not sure you can really blame her for the fact that she's a woman. I'd more blame the media, as it was the way in which the incident was covered that was excessive due her sex. It was always referred to as the Caneiro incident and Jon Fearn barely got a mention.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 18:07:50
There was quite a lot of talk when similar thing happened to Muller Wholfhart at Bayern, the big difference beeing that he quit couple days later, while Carneiro maybe seems to enjoy the attention a bit more. I know its not the same thing but Carneiro and Fearn did nothing wrong and are getting punished.

Agree0 Disagree2

23 Sep 2015 20:09:03
I thought the Bayern thing got more coverage because the whole medical team walked out? Clearly the club disagrees, Mourinho isn't the only decision maker.

23 Sep 2015 20:12:35
Absolute sham of a situation and although I don't know what's happened behind close doors I think the girl had been treated appallingly! There must have been more to it though surely?

Gent's,

Hope I didn't offend anybody yesterday.

That was never my intention, was just putting over my slightly biased opinion on the whole Costa/Gabriel incident.

However, in the spirit of goodwill, we are more than happy to lend you Yaya Sanogo for the next 3 games.

Let me know, lol.

If we wanted a striker that couldn't score to save his life then we'd have just kept Torres. At least he was a pretty boy ;-)

23 Sep 2015 11:32:07
So you going to lend us the only striker you have got? :D

Giroud? 😊

Dagenham he said "striker", not model. Plus, all is fair in love and banter, good to have other fans opinion on here, that's what it's all about.

Ps. Five games now in the league and you goons haven't scored a goal against us.

Have to admit, Mourinho does have the hex over Wenger.

I can't banter myself out of that one, lol

Jackson,

I believe Jose is a massive fan too.

More than happy to straight swap him with Mr Hazard.

Let me know, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 20:18:20
Yes dags I meant a striker, even torres was more productive at his first games than giroud this season

23 Sep 2015 20:37:03
Once we buy back Thorgan, I'll be sure to get back to you to sort out all the details ;-)

Dagenham as you are missing a good DM player we can seap ox for Mikel all day long

23 Sep 2015 23:41:38
Jackson, you are talking Pollock's, lol.

LRD, nah mate, you can keep Mikel.
Throw Matic at me and we can maybe do some business my friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2015 03:14:51
We may want to defend Costa and yes some of the decisions by the FA are inconsistent but if you are true football fan most of Costa wars are completely uncalled for at all. If you all remember Chelsea fans booing Drogba at one point for diving and rolling around which he reduced after that. Also guys remember to build a world wide brand and a peal to kids some of those antics must go out of our club.
To make matter worse our manager is in full support of his actions. Costa is a good footballer and passionate but is starting to cost the team more than his contribution especially with PR and now suspensions.

23 Sep 2015 08:05:07
That's the point I was trying to make, lol.

Will leave you boys alone now :-)

OK, Ed.

It's just that I sent a post to Sid and also a very long post to Jackson, replying to a question he asked me about Gabriel and Matic and it wasn't posted.

My apologies Ed.

Lrd, leave my jokes alone :-)

Thank you Hazard :-)
