I have expressed to Atleti my desire to leave, " said Aguero. "I've asked to receive, unconditionally, the offers that come from other clubs

That is what Aguero said, And yes Real and Juve have the egde but why would he want to join Juve a club that is failing like Athletico, He has said before he does not want to join Real, I think he would jump at the chance of playing for chelsea if onyl we could find a way for his wage structure. . .

And Doesn't Roman have any say in transfers he did buy Schevchenko & Ballack behind Jose's back!?

Ed what would you think of Walter smith being next Chelsea manager? {Ed002's Note - Why would you think he would be?}

He's the second most succesful British manager other than Alex ferguson, he's cut from the same cloth as fergie! He's won 12 league titles with rangers in his career took them to the champions league semi finals an he took them the the uefa cup final with no money to buy new players and had to sell vital players during that time. Rangers were the only club not to concede a goal at old Trafford this season {Ed001's Note - seriously? He is a good manager, but Moyes took the same team Smith was struggling at the foot of the table with and put them in the top half.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Thats utter rubbish remember walter built that everton team up nd one thing u need is a winner and walters that {Ed001's Note - built that Everton team up into a squad of relegation battlers! Yeah I can see your thinking on that one, he would work wonders, could aim for 17th next season with him in charge......}

Agree3 Disagree0

Typical good answer go and get hiddink van basten or maybe avram grant back there winners eh walter won more than them put together he would get respect from ure players and they would play for him

It appears Real Madrid have agreed deals for Aguero and Coentrao, 2 Chelsea targets, and Man City moving for Sanchez, why are Chelsea so slow in acting in transfer markets! They have got the money to bring in these players, why not just offer the asking price, surely they are not concerned about UEFAs rules with the signing of Torres.

Ancelotti was always going to leave at the end of the season as his children lived in Italy and he missed them therefore his most likely destination is Roma.

Chelsea's new manager ideally for Abramovich will be Hiddink with a young ex Chelsea man behind him to learn his ways such as poyet as Hiddink is too old and health issues prevent him from taking Chelsea vacancy for too many years.

People leaving will be
rb - bosingwa and ferriera
cm - mikel
wingers -kalou, anelka and zhirkov
malouda and drogba will leave unless hiddink or mourinho comes in

Not to sure about singings (dependant on managers)
but abramovich wants better and faster football which will include new wingers (mata, neymar or sanchez), a cam or good passing cm (pastore and kaka realistically, unrealistic fabregas and modric and ultimately a striker partner for torres if drogba leaves such as aguero and also vdw as a right back.

I'm a die hard Chelsea fan and ancelotti had to go! When your losing in the quarter final of the champions league and have to score he brought on feirera????? Come on everyone are you lot serious this guy didn't have a clue! And ed002 why don't you ever tell us anything it's always " Im not going to speculate" or " I refer you to earlier answers", come on ed002 this is a rumour website so tell us something for gods sake! Oh yeah before I go we need to get rid of malouda , zhirkov, torres, kalou, bosingwa, Alex they've been shocking for a long time now! We need to keep drogba because he's still the best in the world! His age means nothing , look at giggs? And ed002 are we signing neymar or not? stop beating round the bush! And lukaku? Stop closing the door on us people who view your site it's shocking behaviour! Ed002 pull your finger out! Lol {Ed003's Note - Ed002 isnt around at the moment I'm sure he'll catch up with you asap}

Balague reported on twitter he will be confirming a top La Liga player will be moving to a top Premiership Club is this player heading to Chelsea hope its not Mata to man city Any idea ED002? {Ed002's Note - I am not going to comment on Twitter.}

But is this player anything to do with Chelsea?

Believable0 Unbelievable4

23 May 2011 16:27:09
Can't believe you guys ancellotti was hardly cold in his grave and you are all touting his replacement. Show some respect and get behind him, you were all over him when you wanted him to come to the club and last year when we won our first double. Carlo is a long proven coach with two CL titles he should have been given time. Abramovich is the problem we are now looking for seventh manager in nine years ! Who wants to manage a club under abramovich with the axe always hanging over your head. If he doesn't calm down and rebuild stability we may end up back were we came from - very average! {Ed002's Note - You need to remember it has been pretty clear since January that he would be leaving.}

Believable0 Unbelievable6

So why didn't the fans get behind him in January then he had the pedigree to keep Chelsea at the top for a long time. Remember in 1989 Fergie was one game from the sack now look what he went on to achieve ! We need to remember were we came from b4 Abramovichs millions. As fans don't let's become as fickle as him we need Chelsea need stability to move forward.

Agree0 Disagree6

Yer but ed that's all well an good, he was leaving but why? Hes proven he can win titles so why let him go, As a chelsea fan of 20years i am now officially ashamed of my club we only have ourselves to blame for any kind of aftermath this brings. We had a blip yes but every club has a blip its nothing new, we can't win every season.

out of the managers above who do you think would be the most influential ed? {Ed002's Note - I refer to earlier comments explaining I am not getting in to any discussions about managers at this time.}

Believable0 Unbelievable5

23 May 2011 16:00:58
how can we even be considering any transfers in or out at the moment, until we have a new manager in place. surely the manager dictates the style of play and therefore the type of player required. Mourinho is far more defensive minded than say, Villa Boas.
Ed does this have a bearing on who we are going to sign or am I missing something? {Ed002's Note - There will be no impact on teh transfer targets. A number of people have advised on and discussed potential targets.}

Believable0 Unbelievable4

So if the manager has no say in the players does he have a say in tactics or is that done by a group of advisors as well?

Here are your possible dependencys

Hiddink's intentions not clear till after June 3rd - dependent on Turkeys European Championships qualifying status. If they don't he may come with a younger coach.

Mourinho's return was wholly dependent on REAL winning the CL. They haven't; dependancy is complicated further. REal haven't shown their hand. . .yet.

No manager - Ancelotti gone. No 'director of football' - Arenesan gone. No assistant coach - Wilkins gone. Chelsea are going to be VERY busy this summer, hence Carlo being ousted at the earliest opportunity. Ed? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about.}

do think chelsea will wait another couple of years before they take up the rest of the option (already own 40%) to get wallace from fluminese.
there not desperate for left backs, with having cole, bertrand, van arnholt, zirkov etc. .
I would think, they would want to stregthen on the LW & RW. Malouda & Kalou have never been good enough.

Rumours are that dider drogba, torres, terry and cech are all leaving with anchelloti after a poor season. drogba will be leaving to america torres will be on free transfer and cech will be retiring.
In replacement georgos sameros will be coming as well as joey barton and tevez will be all coming to stamford brige. also there is a rumour we have got planning permision for a new stadium but it will not be as big as stamford bridge it will hold 21,000.

I would also love to see Zola, back has coach.
He has the automatic respect of all world class players & would be great to work with our yougsters too. You couldn't get a better role model.
Has for manager, there is only 2 to consider:
Jose, depends on his relationship with Roman.
Gus, depends if he wants the job.
The rest being touted by the media, are not up to the job.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

23 May 2011 01:13:25
I think Walter smith would be the next best thing to Alex ferguson, he is cut from the same cloth as fergie and demands respect and takes no s**t! Im a rangers fan and I heard that when rangers got beat by kuanus a few yrs ago he went mental in the dressing room and threw a hot pot of tea and jst misses old jimmy bell the kit man lol he also had gazza up against the wall by the throat in the dressing room in his first spell at ibrox. He's a master at bringing the best out in players and is a brilliant tactician, rangers were the only team not to lose a goal at old Trafford this season! He got 9 league titles in a row with rangers and to a champions league semi final and a uefa cup final will virtually no money to buy players, his record speaks for itself. He's the second most successful manager in Britain!
I'd love to see him at Chelsea

Will carlo now go to roma or will he look to stay in england eds? {Ed002's Note - Three options as I see it: (a) Roma - unlikely but good for Chjelsea finacially; (b) Real Madrid 2011-12; (c) year off and Real Madrid 1012-13.}

After Ancelotti finally being released do you think that it's only matter of time that Hiddink is named the Chelsea manager ?
The person i would like to see is Martin O'Neil does anyone else think this would be good appointment also i don't think that this is going to effect our chances of signing the summer targets such as Neymar & Lukaka as i believe that Abramovich makes these decisions anyway. {Ed002's Note - It won't be Martin O'Neil and you are not on target with the transfers either.}

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Is neymar no longer a target? Or is it just a done deal which makes his statement irelavent. I'm just hoping we get him {Ed002's Note - See earlier posts about Neyma. The manager leaving has no impact.}
