some are saying we need a new cb in jan, wtf?? we have terry, ivanovic and cahill atm while Ake could probably start a few games like Rekik did on Sat for City. We have Kalas to come back aswell and some will reply that he's a RB, but i cant see him playing there with Azpilicueta looking brilliant

not seeing many well dones to rafa, but of course, it was all credit to rdm i guess!

Benitez is getting his tactics spot on,hope he keeps it up and the 16th min applause is turning into a joke ,stop it already and support the team and the manager.The organisation and the style is spot on.Good going Rafa.

New poster here. i dont see whats wrong with the 16th minute thing, its a sign of respect to a chelsea legend, its not like those clapping arent behind the club now, they just want to show their appreciation for rdm and what hes done for the club.

Absolute class,very well done.haven't enjoyed a game like that in quite some time.

But today my hat goes off to super frank,what a f###ing legend.i've been critical of him lately and i must say that he played superbly today and deserved his goal (what a stunner it was) on his special day.i hope he decides to retire at chelsea.

Absolute class from Chelsea today. Although slightly disappointed with hazard in the beginning, overall performance was outstanding!

Hazard was class, mate. There are 90mins and 22 players on the pitch. Even CR7 and Messi dnt get involved all the time. Villa defended deeply with many men and Hazard tricked past them when he could; his passing was also incisive. A cracking goal and a couple of assists - what more do u want? The kid's been back since Benitez and enjoying his game. He's also growing and improving with the team, perhaps u shd see.

I don't think he's being harsh on Hazard. It's entirely true that he didn't have much of an impact during the first half.

Got to say we look as good and as confident as we looked in september. Hope the slump is over. The calendar is grateful to us. Let's just hope we'll execute as well as today. In my honest opinion we look best with Lamps and David Luiz in the middle. Great understanding. Whatever keeps Mikel out of the lineup is a bonus to our teamplay.

On the other hand - Ramires would look better than Moses up on the right, i guess. Rafa has got to find a role and playing time for Oscar. Great, confidend, predator display so far.

Wow. Totally amazing. Although the attacking output was seen some few seasons ago, the defence was just amazing. Best game of the season.

Moses works his ass off for the team, he is fast and strong and brings some force to our wing play. Good player especially for the age and price of the lad.

Best first half from the blues for a while. Everyone has been superb. Torres looks like a £50 million pound man with a goal like that. Luiz is the answer to the midfield problem, just buy a centre-back to cover at the back. Absolutely unplayable, thought I was watching Fellaini, Ozil and Valdarama rolled into one! Superb. Never enjoyed watching us for a quite a while for today! Bring on the second half!

P.S: Rafa is fufilling his promise, forget Di Matteo and stop chanting his name!

Totally agree that Luiz is best suited for Midfield but I don't think we need to sign cover for the back till next summer. We have Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic which will fight for the 2 starting berths with Luiz as back up.

I agree, getting 12 million for a greedy striker who needs ten chances to score once and has an obsession with playing in his wrong position is a bargain. I'm ready to watch him flop alongside Borini and co. Enjoy being 8th, I sense another landfall soon.

Sturridge is awful greedy does not track back and defend i think we should be made up to get 12 million for him im sure liverpool fc love wastin money on below average strikers. IANCFC.

Sturidge's never been given his chances properly at Chelsea. We'll all be disappointed when he has a chance and starts scoring for L'Pool.

Hmmm just read something about Benteke talking on Hazard and how he would like to play in Madrid some day, that its his dream club, well I can't say I would be too sad if he at least wins the league or something big like the Champs for us like Ronaldo did for united before he left and of course Madrid would at least double the 32 mil we paid. Would still be sad to loose him but we can always get some one to replace him. I do hope he stays at the club as long as possible. Love our young players.
