Why have chelsea never shown interest in Benteke? It would appear he would be the stand-out option as a striker!

I've wondered the same thing this whole summer, why we we haven't shown any interest. He's physically imposing, has nice touch and his finishing has come on very well. Though I don't doubt Jose or the club, I too have thought about him as an option

It he doesn't fit the type of striker that jose is looking for. he has previously said that he wants a forward that likes to come deep and turn and run at defenders not a target man. it would also be a weird transfer due to the similarities to lukaku and the fact that they are fighting for a spot in the belgian starting xi.

It's nice to see the depth within certain roles of the team, I recall last season we had only Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Marin, Moses and you could count Betrand and Ramires, however those two were only due to lack of depth, Mata, Oscar and Hazard ended up playing far, far too many games due to the class of Marin and Moses being no where near their level (With all respect to them), but this season, along with the potential purchase of Willian and departure of Moses, we would have 6 fantastic players competing for two roles, and competetion for places can bring the best out of players, but as well players can be rested, any of those 6players named I feel could break into any Bpl team, It's good to know that TSO is giving us the depth we needed last season.

He's been a target for quite some time. And as Marin is scoring for fun out on loan, schurrle could play striker and de bruyne centre mid way the hell not sign Willian.

Yes have to agree the more you honk about it, de brine could play lampard a role as he did at times last season for weirder Bremen, also Schurlle can be used as a striker if required.

Would suggest if we buy Willian then Moses will go I would also suggest that Oscar will drop into the 2 at the base and Mikel will be sold this then leaves Hazard/Schurrle on the left Mata/De Bryne
for the middle and Willian/Mata to play on the right
Hope this dispels all rumours of JM going
The 3 to go this window will be Moses, Ba and Mikel

I dunno about anyone else but I'd rather keep mata than Rooney. And play schurrle up top. At the end of the day his best goal scoring season was for Mainz.

That is the last person I would want to see in a Chelsea shirt. The way he continuously fakes injury and rolls about on the floor even when there is no contact whatsoever is a disgrace to football and would not want to see that at Chelsea Fc.

I'm sorry, but that is rubbish.
Mata, Coutinho and Oscar are all equally as lightweight as Di Maria, and they cope just fine.
That is just a myth that is untrue in most cases.
