If Schweinsteiger is available for 10 million that's an absolute steal. If we really are going to bring through Loftus-Cheek we need a quality stop gap. Schweinsteiger would give us that. We can then rotate them to give RLC experience, then once he leaves hopefully Ruben is ready to step up. I'd much prefer that than spending 60+ million on Pogba. And his attitude can be very poor he reacted badly to getting substituted weekend. Koke won't leave IMO he does look like a one club player which I respect. That with hopefully a new backup keeper maybe Green, a new LB i'd go for Baba Rahman and our marquee signing in hopefully Griezmann. If Remy and Drogba both leave I'd like to see us go for Benteke with Solanke/Griezmann as 3rd choice.

I do like the schweinsteiger links with Vidal being a similar player. The only thing that concerns me is schweinsteiger has a touch of an injury history and I'm not sure if he has the legs to be a box man at 31. Either way I like both but realize they both are incredibly unlikely.

Welshcarefree you have just insinuated that chelsea should have sold John Terry 3-4 years ago.That's about equal if Bayern decides to sell Schwensteiger (club grown player who has spent whole his career at Bayern Munich).

Getting rid of Schwensteiger is the same for Bayern Munich as well as getting rid of Terry for Chelsea when he was 30-31.

Terry is playing like he's 25 again I don't know how you've managed to connect them both. Schweinsteiger could be used as just a two year stop gap until Loftus-Cheek gains more experience, that's what I'd like to see anyway.

Look,I would be happiest person if Chelsea signs Schwensteiger but it's not going to happen.
Also if you really know the difference than you probably know that Guardiola is not a person who is making the call as well as he is not the one who should or would go public with such a statement.
Probably you have read something in the press and quite often such speculations are untrue.

No one said it was going to happen, welshcarefree simply brought up the idea seeing as there is speculation. Never said that Guardiola has made the call that he will leave, we're not in the know so we can only work with the quotes we're provided with. Anyway, this is a pointless discussion so ill leave it there
