I know Alonso gets a lot of stick and rightly so when he plays LB as he's clearly not the best defensively or the fastest. But when he plays LWB he's a different player altogether. Plus he gives us balance with his left foot and more often than not be pops up with a goal. And we could certainly use some of his goals this season.


I'd like to see us stick with the back 3/ 5 for the remainder of the season. I know we tried it a little earlier in the season and then reverted back to a back 4 after a few poor results. But imo our best performances this season have come with a back 3.

I'm certainly hoping to see the back 3 again against Bayern on Tuesday along with Giroud up top.

He also provides real threat from free kicks within convertible distance from goal.

Honestly feels like these Refs are trying to make VAR look as bad as possible so they can ditch it next season. It's the only explenation i can come up with as to how they're getting these recent decisions soo horribly wrong. Could've easily had 4 or 6pts from our past 2 games if the refs knew how to do their job. Enough of the negatives though as we were absolutely brilliant, thoroughly deserved win and should've scored more. Mount was definitely my MOTM, although you could easily give it to 6 or 7 other players. Would probably stick with this formation from now on and just put Ruben in the two man pivot against low block teams. let's go on a run now boys and cement that CL spot!.

Who else wishes we could play the spuds every week?! Great performance from the lads Giroud, Christensen, Mount, Alonso and Barkley were immense. Now focus on Tuesday night. Come on you blues.

As I’ve already said WC (boggy) make of couple of impotence saves today and I’m genuinely so pleased for the man.

What on earth that’s got to do with Kepa not playing or how Kepa will be seen as a keeper in years to come is beyond me but some people love to focus on the negative.

I’m just happy with the win and I’m not going to dig out players who didn’t even play! Bonkers!

Kepa is still a better goalkeeper and will be back in goal soon all he needed was a wake up call. Willy has never been a number one anywhere and isn’t good enough to be ours harsh but true.

Is Kepa heck a better keeper take the price tag away watch them on performances. Willy made two cracking saves if that was Kepa Tom would have been calling him world class through his cataracts. Who’s the better keeper? I admit Willy isn’t long term the option but he’s the better keeper right now. Watching him come for two crosses and claiming them was ecstasy 👏.

I hope WC stays in goal for the remainder of the season because that will mean he is playing well.

My point is Kepa doesn’t play and you can’t stop being critical. Just be happy with the win and the good saves that WC produced. You never know it might make your personalities happy.

I also still firmly believe that in time Kepa will prove himself a top goalkeeper.

Also, thanks for the concern but my eyesight is about the only thing that’s still ok.

WC made a few good saves. He had a good game today.

It will be interesting to see if Kepa makes his return in the champions league. I suspect he will tbh.

Icardi are available on 58m. If we can't get werner (to liverpool), our best option are ICARDI in my opinion.

I like Icardi too; I think the real question is does Chelsea want him and does he want Chelsea? If we want him and he wants us, i think something can be discussed and agreed upon as regards his character. Ziyech, I remember had some baggage but he's almost our player at the moment, so.
