All football fans are entitled to their opinions but the wild, emotional reactions are in some cases bordering on bizarre.

It was always going to be work in progress!

TomB you are spot on mate and this is the reason why most don't post much anymore. The page is so toxic and it is the same 4 or 5 posters time and again. I don't mind reading balanced arguments, both positive and negative but 1 or 2 only come on when we have had a bad result, they never ever post anything positive only negativity.

It's a a joke listening to some of the negativity. Pathetic fan base, how in God's world could you call for Sarri to be sacked. Football isn't about winning the title every year, this year was always going to be difficult. Give the manager some time to get his own team together.

I don't even think we played poorly? We dominated the game up until they scored then we lost our heads. We had enough chances to score but it's obvious we lack quality upfront. It's shocking to see how many people are already turning on Sarri, of course there are things i'd like for him to do differently but i fully support him. It's up to the board to help him right now, he needs better players up top, especially at the ST position. We can dominate games all we like but we only have Hazard who's really capable of scoring in that starting 11. Back him and we'll see improvements. Why we're crumbling once we concede is very worrying though, we seem to lose all footballing ability and our composure goes out the window. Hopefully it's sorted out since our defence isn't strong enough to rely on clean sheets every game.

Yeah I think this is the last time I check or post on the page for a while. The toxicity is incredible from some mostly Darren wood.

{Ed001's Note - to be honest, there is a problem with football fans in general. One defeat is enough for some fans to want to rip everything up and start again. Others will think one win is enough to tell them that everything is perfect. It is fine so long as there is a balance to them of those who think differently plus some calmer heads in the middle.}

Always been a supporter of the TomB, Jackson and G8 posts. Positivity all the way for me. Come on lads let's get this site back to how it was! I used to pretend I was "in the know" because for Ed002 wonderful (never EVER wrong) ) info! Why one earth anyone would post comments to drive them away is beyond me! Eds please post this because we all know how great this site is and we all love Chelsea (Ed002 included) so let's get along . Thank you!

Once again I'm attacked for pointing out the deficiencies in Sarri's system - but no one on here has the bottle to enter into a debate - all you lot do is bleat 'Buy another striker, Buy another striker' or 'Sell Willian' - And for the record, I have been critical of Sarri over many weeks, even during the unbeaten run. Why? Because I could see that it was all built of straw and there was a fire a'coming.

MDW, I don’t what the content of any post as long it’s got a constructive element.

Every poster knowi didn’t want Sarri to be our manager for several reasons but he is so I now support him.

I dread to think where we would be in league without hazard, 17 shots and no goals, some games jorginho doesn't need to be starting, sideways and backwards. But stats good.

22 Dec 2018 17:07:37
Hazard may go anyway, but surely will if we fail to qualify for Champions League again. So top four this season or winning UEFA Cup essential. Caraboa Cup and FA Cup tiring distractions in January imho unless first team squad members don't participate!

75% 1st half possession but absolutely no chances created (Hazard hitting the bar was a mistake by Mcquire) . When will Sarri understand that great possession stats do not win you football matches?

Bad luck.

We are toothless up front and the pressure on Hazard to perform is getting out of hand. He is getting hammered by defenders and is trying too hard to be the one to break any deadlock. I do not think Jorghino is the saviour we all thought him to be or convinced he is suited to premiership football; he is more mobile but not an improvement on Fabregas, both require time and space to deliver their best balls.

Welcome to the team C1955 mate, I don’t rate Jorginho at all I even stated this when we were sailing I don’t think he’s better than Fab in any area of the game he is slightly quicker off the ball but I’d play Fab over him everyday.

23 Dec 2018 16:48:28
i think he's really good on the ball and 1 i was very excited about been honest but he's really got found out badly on a couple of accasions and every1 knows kante is d best dm in d world its like playin makelele in a attackin cm position and putting lampard in a dm role makes zero sense.

Kovecic isn't a goal threat, will never be a goal threat, hazard is useful 9 but we missed him wide, Pedro offered nothing but Willian again getting in the team is a mystery, I said it before season started kovecic Kante Jorginho offer no goals, it's becoming a problem as much as relying solely on hazard.

It better to have Kovavic then RLC who did absolute zero!

He had his chance today and did nothing, terrible terrible result.

RLC had his chance today? What, 20 minutes when we're chasing the game? Leave it out.

30 mins and what has he done? In those 30 mins.

22 Dec 2018 18:37:47
Miss daren wood, and you said where we are chasing the game. He actually should be good at those situations as it required less defensive duties (which isn't his strongest ability) as we are pushing forward.

He was bad, really really bad today.

We all wanted a start for Emerson. Not even on the bench. Hazard to get his 100th Chelsea goal and a win would be a lovely Xmas present.

Alonso and Willian again 😩 surely Emerson and Loftus-Cheek need to start.

22 Dec 2018 15:53:38
Agreed, Willian is going to end up like Malouda in most of our memories if he keeps up like this had a good season or two. Some good goals and cameos but at the end would just be remembered as really frustrating more often than not.

Chelsea facing very real threat of losing Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich and other big teams interested.

Do people now understand why we want him to get some game time? I really think some posters and Ed002 misunderstand what we are asking for. We’re not asking them to play the big games or either the smaller ones, but when there’s a chance to put him on the bench over a third centre back or play in a dead rubber, it must be done.

If we lose Hudson-Odoi I’ll be very dissapointed, though granted, it won’t be the end of the world.

I can't think of 1 player that has come through our youth system who has left Chelsea and then gone on to do great things.

If Sarri thought he was better than what we have, right now, he would play him. (We don't have the insight the coaching staff do on a daily basis) . The Boy is only just turned 18 and needs to keep working hard, listening and impressing when he gets an opportunity. He also needs to sign the contract that he has been offered or the club will likely sell him anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Dec 2018 10:45:56
Standard, I’m not sure who “we” but we have to respect the managers decision.

CHO looks to be a talented lad and I would hate it if he left but if he wants to play more top flight football my guess is he will refuse to sign the contract that’s on offer and leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Dec 2018 15:52:54
Miss wood, that’s irrelevant. We are talking about Hudson-Odoi.

G8 I understand that and I don’t think he’s better than Willian Pedro or hazard, but I do think he deserves a bench spot over Moses as a winger.

TomB of course I do, I think Sarri is doing a great job I just believe he deserves game time in smaller games and even on the Bench in league and fa cup games so if we’re up by three with 30 to go, Hudson-Odoi can get some valuable game time instead of subbing on willlian, who could do with a rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Dec 2018 21:32:12
I don't think it is irrelevant - we've been here before - Mikael Forssell, Carlton Cole, Leon Knight, Michael Mancienne, Ben Sahar, Scott Sinclair, Miroslav Stoch, Gael Kakuta, Josh McEachran, Islam Feruz, Alex Kiwomya, Charly Musonda, Lucas Piazon, Bertrand Troare, Dominic Solanke, etc etc etc - all of them were touted as the next big thing - so what makes CHO at just 18 and still at school any different!
