Just got home from work and wondering if anyone watched Van Ginkel? Really interested to hear how heis getting on, heard positives from a Southampton mate who watched him last week.

Good to see you back ELI. As long as yourself and tk keep posting, we might entice PB, SHED END and others out of the woodworks.

Marleys made more posts in the last week than he has in the previous year. Also I've watched most of Van Ginkels games so far and honestly I've been rather impressed. His first game he played as a number 10 but since then he's been their box man but looks comfortable in either slot. In terms of skill set he's really a jack of all trades that is solid in all facets but has room to grow in all manners as well. Physically he's bigger than I expected and he moves very well. Really hoping this is the first year where he doesn't lose major time to injury as that's held him back the previous two years. Also I have to commend the club on an excellent placement at stoke as he's getting tons of time so far.

Thanks buddy, appreciate it. I agree that its great he is getting plenty of minutes. Can only do him good, and Stoke has been buying some decent players as well, so hopefully he can begin to link up well with them

We've not won any of our last four matches at the Hawthorns. 3 losses and one draw does not exactly ring a happy bell.

I'm cautiously optimistic. The team has character, and I think they'll show it tomorrow :-)
Time to make a statement on the pitch.

The suspense is killing me, pogba news is everywhere. Chelsea could possibly be on the verge of signing the best young midfielder in world football. Juve have given pogba there number 10 shirt, which probably means they want to build around him. So it's going to take a huge bid for them to let him go. Not sure about anyone else but I wouldn't mind Oscar going the other way plus cash. I do like Oscar but if it was a deal breaker who would you have in your side pogba or Oscar?
Matic physical holding player, pogba skillful long range shooting physical presence with fabregas floating round playing killer passes. A mouth watering midfield with hazard, Costa and Pedro up top.

Things seem to be kicking up a gear since pedro. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in Chelsea's board room now! Also all credit to you ed18 for giving us any info you have you've been great this window! Thanks for you time and effort mate

Looking at lots of sources this morning it looks like a bid for pogba was turned down. Not for sale apparently am feeling a bit of a mug now for getting excited yesterday.

Don't give up hope yet. 10 days left in the transfer window, anything can happen!

The headline - "CHELSEA have agreed a stunning £69million deal to sign Juventus' Paul Pogba". Would be a bit a a stretch, especially for a well respected national newspaper such as the Sun, if it holds no truth whatsoever, wouldn't it?

Damn these red tops for getting our hopes up just to pull the rug from under them - Unless it's true?!.

My gut actually tells me that here is a deal to be done and said deal will see Oscar move to Juventus. Moving Fabregas into the number 10 role where he's much more suited and having Pogba next to Matic will give the team more balance. If it can't be done then Witsel is the best secondary option out there.

I defo think we'll see Cuadrado go, on loan, and Moses stick around - if a deal could have been struck for Griezmann then I think Moses would have been off too. It makes sense to keep Moses for a year and make a push for Griezmann next summer - there aren't many other options out there at the moment.

It's going to be an exciting end of the window for Chelsea fans though!

Could anyone perhaps give some info on how Martial compares to Lacazette? I've only seen both play a handful of times, if that, but they both seem very talented. Difference is that Martial is probably 4 or 5 years youngers.
I really liked the look of Martial on Wednesday, he seemed to have it all in his locker. So who would you pick if both were possible? Your choice would be interesting to read as well, Ed :-)

Jackson I would personally take lacazette all day long I like you haven't seen a whole pile of both but did see lacazette a few times last season and the way he linked up with nabil fekir ud nearly bring fekir with him 2 fantastic talents I watched them against psg last year he scored and played fantastic and then got injured in that game an Lyon ran out of steam a bit in the title bid I certainly would go all out for him and pogba

Just woken up and seen the info from ed018 and ed002!.thanks a lot guys/girl. You are doing nothing to dampen down my excitement however with news about lacazette as well as pogba!. I have been saying all year that the team needs more goals and I think if we got them too as well as adding pedro that would certainly help massively. I was not overly excited by pedro as was hoping for reus/gotze/isco type but if we are using money saved from not doing that to get pogba and lacazette I fully understand. Keep up the good work eds and thanks ed002 for taking pity on us in our hour of need!
