He's a decent player Koke but I don't see what he could offer us to what Oscar cant. If definitely prefer Andre Gomes.

I think he is a more rounded CM mate, would allow Cesc to play further up the pitch, or even go to a 4-3-3

Agreed. I've been saying saying he's Fabregas with more pace. Pogba would add something entirely different from what we have.

Don't want to spend all the millions on Pogba we can get 2-3 quality players in for the 70 million or so they want. I've decided it's just Gomes for me for CM 😀

Ok I don't like talking money but youd rather spend 80 million on Pogba than filling 3 positions with quality players such as Varane, Gomes and Dybala/Icardi? Including sales from outgoings. And why is Andre Gomes quantity instead of quality of Pogba? Just because he's not rated 80 million he's not good enough t.k? And dislike me posts all you want lol

I don't see any issue with having a 2nd Cesc Fabregas. It's not as if you're talking about us getting a 2nd Mikel or Ramires. So what if he offers the exact same thing as Oscar or Cesc. Maybe he'll be more consistent and be able to do it over the whole season rather than sporadically(Oscar) or for only half a season(Cesc).
Personally I think he's better defensively than both of them and I'd be pretty happy if we got him.

I just feel there's a vast difference between the displays pogba has shown over the past year and a half in comparison to Gomes who plays in the Spanish league which on the whole is weaker. it has nothing to do with price but I would say the fact that every top club in the world is sniffing around Pogba should indicate that he's the real deal. Reffering to Gomes as quantity was low but at the same time you can't tell me he's at the same level as pogba. Put it this way the money we'd save by keeping Remy instead of buying icardi (whose price tag in addition to Gomes price tag would get very near pogbas) and I would take pogba and Remy every day before I took icardi and Gomes. And the like/dislike garbage isn't me. I've always found that childish as well.

Koke is a really solid midfielder and to be honest I'd be over the moon if we got him. I think ee all knew Pogba would be a long shot plus Andre Gomes is obviously more of a risk out of the three. Plus it would be harder to pry him away from Valencia considering they have no real reason to sell.
Koke is in all beauty of it "a mourniho type player" and buying him could also mean Oscar stays, for me that's a win win and a step up in quality and definitely no need for Douglas Costa.

I think Koke would bring real class, hard work & a killer ball which we have been missing of late, could play him out wide, midfield 2 or 3, & behind strikers so he's very versatile too, only pogba would top him but don't think the club will pay that much.

I think top to bottom it is a more balanced league. You don't see three teams with 90-100 points. Plus pogba looks good in the bigger competitions such as the champions league and World Cup. Onviously nobody hold a candle to Spain's top 3 but the bottom half of the table in Spain would struggle in the championship.
