"I'm blue, I'm a London Blue but I am professional." - Jose Mourinho

I am not saying this will or won't happen... But

With this in mind, I'm interested as to what fellow fans think. All I want is Mourinho back. I'm not ignoring RDM's success or past successes i.e. Hiddink and Ancelotti. With that said, I'd have Mourinho back at the Bridge any day. What would RDM have to do, for you to at the end of this season say "No thanks, Jose. We'll stick with Robbie."?

I don't agree with our careless sacking of managers, but I can't think of a thing. Jose has unfinished business.

WIth the reported unrest at Madrid and talk of players leaving, I think there is more chance of Mourinho leaving than players like Ramos.
He has always had a strained relationship with Madrid since day one.

Agree2 Disagree0

Every chelsea fan loves jose m8, but we have moved on. i also dont want RDM to stay after this season either.

Agree2 Disagree4

Any chelsea fan would take Jose back over anyone. He's the special one but he's Chelsea's special one, he's our special one.

This is a team I would love to see in a year or so:
*-Transfer Targets

Courtois
Azpil Cahill Yanga-M'Biwa* Bertrand

Ramires Fellaini*

Hazard Oscar Mata

Falcao*

This is why I think this team would be great:
So our main problem is the holding midfielder role. With Fellaini and Ramires in the deep lying role it could be a good partnership. Fellaini likes to bomb down field in a Yaya Toure type fashion......if he loses it Ramires is an excellent cover. Hes lightning quick, aware and is very strong. Also vice-versa. If Ramires has a go then Fellaini is more than capable of covering the danger......He again is so tactically aware, very strong and knows how to sort out the opposition players.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Don't see Luiz being dropped the next few years.

Agree3 Disagree0

Sorry guys I accidentally pressed enter before I could finish this post. Right so the Centre backs. Cahill is our most sound defender. Good tackler, tactically aware, good in the air and most important, CONSISTENT. It was a toss up between Luiz and M'Biwa. Because Luiz is becoming quite inconsistent I chose M'Biwa. Tbh I have never seen him play but I have heard very positive things about him from Montpellier and the French U-23s. The full backs could be quite adventurous this season. I really like Bertrand and Azpil looks like a good prospect. I would like to see them both bomb down the sides and whip a few good balls in. The attacking midfielders will be crucial this season. Hazard, Oscar and Mata can drift in and out and interchange. Would mainly like to see Mata doing most of the playmaking with cheeky little passes through the defenders and assisting the front man. Hazard causing havoc among the defense with his pace, skill and the confidence to beat a man. Oscar having a pop through the heart of the defense with his superb dribbling skills and that all too familiar 'Brazilian flair'. Finally Falcao. This guy I think is the best out and out sriker going at the minute. He is such an intelligent forward. His movement would be key for him if he was to score 25+ goals a season. Once he is in position, however, he doesn't miss
So that concludes. I believe that in a year or so this could be our best team.

Chelsea are looking good heading into the game against Stoke tomorrow. Its at Stamford Bridge which is good as the Britannia Stadium seems to get the very best out of Stoke a lot of the time.
In terms of the line-up I think Di Matteo should go for something like this...
-----------------------Cech----------------
---------Ivanovic------Terry-----------Luiz----------Cole-----------------Ramires-------Lampard-----------------Moses-------
----Hazard-----------Oscar---------
-------------------Torres------------------------
I certainly feel that we should give Oscar some more game time as I felt even before the Juventus game he should but that game sealed the deal in terms of if he is ready to start starting 11 football at such a young age at Chelsea.
I think Moses should be on the right as Mata I dont think should go there and I would like to see Ramires play CM. I also understand that Marin is still injured? {Ed00

I would like to see Azpilicueta start and Cahill will probably start too.

What are your views about the uefa europa league and the fact that english clubs dont take it seriously?
personally, i think they should be happy they are playing in continental competitions rather than making a mockery out of it by fielding kids...

taby

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I think that whoever wins the Europa should get put in the group stages of the Champions league.

Therefore if you are not doing well in the league eg Liverpool this yea, then you actually try to win the competition and get Champions league the next. I dont think if Liverpool did try to win it they would though just an example.

Yeah i agree with above. straight in champions league. BLUEBOY1

Stamford Bridge side linked with move for accomplished Spanish international.
Sergio Ramos could quit Real Madrid next summer and that will put Premier League clubs on red alert.
Reports of a fall-out between Ramos and Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho appear to be accurate, after the Spain international was dropped in favour of youngster Raphael Varane for the Champions League clash with Manchester City in midweek.
And stories in Spain claim the 26-year-old could now be set to end his seven year stay in the Spanish capital.
There are differences in the treatment of players in the dressing room. Differences between the Portuguese clan, the players close to Mourinho, and though who are isolated, like Sergio Ramos, journalist Alfredo Duro said on Spanish TV show Punto Pelota.
There is no trust between the player and the coach, and vice versa. The solution will come at the end of the season.
If Mourinho continues [at Madrid], Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid. He has a good reputation at PSG, in Russia and England. His value would be around 50m.
Mourinho is believed to have requested that Ramos trains in isolation as a disciplinary measure.
Meanwhile, a separate report in Barcelona-based paper EMD elaborated that Chelsea, who they claim have previously shown interest in the player, along with Manchester City would both be interested in his signature.
SOURCE:
Given Chelsea's previous interest in Sergio Ramos and the fact that the West London side are perhaps light of real quality in the right back area, should mean that that Roberto Di Matteo's side may well be leading the race for the Real Madrid defender.
Will Blues owner Roman Abramovich be willing to fork out £40m for the Spanish international though? Well the Russian billionaire appears to have got back to his big spending ways, providing funds for a spending spree this summer that cost him upwards of £80m.
If indeed Ramos has fallen out with Jose Mourinho it could be a hard road back into his good books as the former Chelsea boss is not known for changing his attitude towards a player if the relationship between the two has broken down.
Sergio Ramos is an accomplished defender who would certainly be the subject of a great deal of interest. The 26 year old is now into his eighth season in the Real Madrid first team having joined the club as a teenager from Sevilla in a deal said to have been worth around £18m.
The Andalusia born defender can play equally effectively at centre or right back and has amassed over 300 appearances for Real Madrid and winning three La Liga titles. He could certainly give the likes of John Terry, David Luiz, Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill a run for their money in the centre of the Chelsea defence but a defender a £40m price-tag would mean that any side willing to pay the price will be spending the biggest ever sum on a defender.

If Ramos came what would be your lineup???????????mine would be
-----------CECH----------
AZPILL--LUIZ--RAMOS--COLE
------RAMIRES--ROMEU-------
MATA----OSCAR----HAZARD
----------TORRES----------

I still can't believe people would prefer to see Luiz and either Terry or Cahill over Terry and Cahill and Luiz at left back..... in the changing room! Personally as a Chelsea fan i would feel much more confident in the english pairing rather than Luiz who we all know is a bit of a liability at times. He's great to have in the squad and I would love to see him used in place of Mikel but that just seems like a wish rather than reality. Aside from that, I feel the Chelsea future looks bright- onwards and upwards people, we've got some silverware to win!!

RC

Agree2 Disagree5

Nice point RC. Can you imagine Ramos and Luiz at CB with Mikel in front, recipe for disaster.

IB.

Agree2 Disagree6

Terry is showing his signs of deterioration and Cahill is good but not as good as people are making out (though better than I thought he would be when he joined). Luiz makes mistakes usually one noticeable a game but is fast is the best at reading opposition attackers and adds to other areas of the pitch aswell.

I swear people just wait for his overly aggresive tackle each game, critisice him and dont bother to pay attention to the great things he does for the other 89 mins. He was the second best Chelsea player against Juventus.

I must no admit that him pairing with Ramos in the centre would be a recipe for disaster though especailly if Mikel is infront.

Agree6 Disagree0

I must now*

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm an admirer of Luiz. His ability to read the game is great and he wins the ball from opposition players earlier and more often than our other defenders most of the time. He is unfortunately prone to the odd error in judgement. Perhaps this can be erased over time.
