Pulisic unveiled and Cech to come back as sporting director, finally some positive news for the club after injuries to key players this week and surrounding negativity.

Cech is very intelligent and well respected. I would have liked to see Ballack but Cech is also a good option, maybe Ballack could fit into a role under him in the future.

Rumours Jovic to Madrid I'd off, I am absolutely praying 🙏 get the ban froze hurry up Chels. He reminds me so much of Aguero as a youngster.

Yes I just saw an article on it. I pray too that we get him. I don't know how reliable Sky Germany is, cos they are the ones that reported before now that Luka Jovic has signed for Real Madrid. I looked up some very reliable sky sources and none of them reported it.
Or could it be an understanding between Real Madrid and Chelsea- to leave Luka Jovic to Chelsea? Just some wild thoughts.

Or is it a case of Real Madrid's sudden preference for someone else?

Who thinks Reece James can play as Right winger in this Chelsea squad?

Why would you put him at RW when we're in dire need of a RB?

21 May 2019 17:50:04
Why on earth would you play one of the most promising young right backs in the Country out of position?

Maybe RWB but preferably RB.

Finally get a brilliant all round RB in the squad and you want to shift him up to the wing. Oh my .

RB clearly his best position. If you had to change that he’s more suited to CM than a winger, played in midfield a few times for Wigan.

And Azpi to play as our main striker!

Ed002 what’s your view on the europa league final taking place in baku? Surely this is one of the biggest cock up UEFA have done to date. And to top it all off, Henrik won’t be travelling with Arsenal due to his safety. Its just incredible.

Will you be attending at either final?

{Ed002's Note - Personally I don't have any major concern with the game being held in Baku, and if HM decides not to go that is fine. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have played at the stadium in Baku in recent years and tickets for the game are freely available. There are plenty of flights from Paris and other major European cities so travel may not be as easy as folks like, but it is hardly a show stopper. I am thinking about going to Madrid if commitments allow but have not yet made my mind up.}

Go to Savile and travel back up to Madrid by train.

Cheaper flights, wonderful city and a very good train journey!

Apparently Chelsea have sold under 1000 tickets for the final.

If we were in the Champions League Final in Baku, we would sell out our allocation and be demanding more tickets.

Hi Ed's
With all this talk of Chelsea banned or not and everybody worried that we might not be able to dip into the transfer market. Are we able to take new players on loan for this year coming and then maybe registering after the ban is lifted? I think the question im asking is, is it possible for us to take our targets that the club might have on loan and then register them later or would the ban restrict us from that aswell.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No, taking a player on loan means registering them.}

Ed not sure if any these Sarri / Lampard / Allegri rumours are true but can you help clear up anything, is Sarri walking away or being pushed out / mans surely we are not looking to Lampard with 8 months of managerial experience?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I really don't want to comment on this. I have explained that the club has no intention of sacking him because that is what the fans want, and they have higher priorities right now.}

Glad to here that, I imagine Sarri may want Juve job as big club in Italy, and like u have previously said fans haven’t been great towards him. I don’t think it’s ever been noted how much we missed Steve Holland when he left, would love him back to work with Sarri.

I don't think Sarri would fit Juve at the moment. they're in 'win now' mode (especially with ronaldo likely to move on some time soon) and I think they'll be after a 'Man manager' rather than a 'Systems manager' like Sarri.

Actually I think Poch would suit them, and by all accounts his family are largely Juve fans (Marcotti) .

No less than anostonishing that UEFA has chosen to have the Europa League final in a country where one of the players can't travel to because of security concerns, not to mention all the other laughable problems with that decision. I honestly think both teams should withdraw, but I guess Arsenal wouldn't do that since a CL spot is on the line for them. Wouldn't even mind if we chose to withdraw from the tournament, since this final is just turning out to be a farce.

Regarding the Sarri rumours I actually don't think the club will sack him but likewise also don't think the club will stand in his way if he opts to take a job back in his homeland. I believe the decision will be made following the Europa Cup Final. Also, the rumours surrounding Lamps being the next Manager, again I'm not convinced that will happen either. All conjecture at the moment. What I do hear though is the clubs lawyers are looking at the FIFA ban and will make a recommendation to the club on whether to accept the ban straight away. Now for opinion, if I may, I would like to see Sarri stay and continue his work, whatever you think of him there is no argument that he is a very talented coach, bring back 2 or 3 loanees and build on what might turn out to be a very good Season if we win the Europa league. Half full as usual and enjoy Summer now it has arrived, and Winter to all you down under. Cheers.

The rumours surrounding Sarri with Lampard replacing him are now so loud I guess there must be an element of truth to them.

The latest one is the club will take the Transfer ban on the chin so as to allow Lampard to integrate some loan players without pressure.

Big Pete as technical director.
