ED002 why do Chelsea just not confirm Chelsea as there new manager it is the worst kept secret in football today De Bruyne's agent said it is up to Mourinho to decide whether he goes out on loan or not last week Marin's agent said the same!

Hi Ed002, its another season where faithfull chelsea fans will have many questions/ opinions on various transfer news and rumors at times.

for sometime in the past, falcao was chelsea bound. However, as from Last week, falcao seemed to have been on his way to monaco when the transfer period starts. Over the weekend, he refuted those claims. This week, something has changed and rumors are that he may go to manchester city.

Ed, do you know what might have changed over the last couple of days?

Hussein. {Ed002's Note - No.}

Some people at this football club are pretty dumb do they not realise Falcao and Cavani are the 2 best strikers avilabke and both for sale and have been talking to thier clubs for well over a year yet it will come to nothing and we will be stuck with some 2nd rate striker as usual someone like Mario Gomez or Yilmaz what a joke

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes. We are just a greatest collection of dumb men in football. Owner, employees and fans alike. Proud to be a part. Carefree.

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

We've done this before, we could have brought falcao in from porto for less but didn't, could have bought aguero and didn't.

Chins up guys we have benayoun and torres

Agree0 Disagree0

We're nothing but a dumb club with 12 trophies in 10 years. Oh how I would trade success for managerial stability and a shoestring budget!

NAAAT

Agree0 Disagree0

Why worry over Falcao transfer from Porto? Maybe we could have brought him in from River Plate? Where Lewandowski could have been bought for Malouda's annual wage from Lech or even clubs before that in Poland. What is the point of this drivel?

No strikers would come to us and I don't care. Let's make do with what we have (including Lukaku), it could turn out to be the best thing to happen to us. Improve our CDM, CB, and squad depth. Our two strikers combined have scored just 10 league goals for us this season, yet we scored so many goals even more than ManCity with 4 class strikers! And I'm confident ElNino, Ba and Big Rom will get us goals next season given their improved form.
Bas!cs.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Torres alone has scored more than 10 goals? Be up to date before you say something like that

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres actually only scored 8 goals in the league, and Ba only scored 2 for us in the league. So that's a combined 10 for us in the epl. Glad to have been of assistance

Jackson

No name, I said 'league goals'. Torres scored only 8 EPL goals and Ba only 2 for us. Next time read and understand before posting your drivel.

torres has become an example for other striker not not come to us. since he failed miserably. most of them won't want to join us.

Agree0 Disagree0

People are so dumb. Imagine what could be if we had a WORLD CLASS striker? Why do you always have to satisfy with the average you have? You always have to strive to getting better, not being such a sheep. A front line consisting of Torres and Ba isn't good for Norwich, let alone Chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it really our strikers faults? Ba scoring for fun at new, then at chelsea he scores two in the league,

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2013 23:52:02
U call somebody a 'sheep' and say people are dumb but u couldn't sign your post; that says it all. Yes we will all want to have Messi, Ronaldo, Cavani, Aguero, Falcao, Lewandowski, etc. But do they all wan't to come? The club have always done their best as far as transfers are concerned, but has it always worked out for us? CFC won't be held again to pay ludicrous fees and wages for players and rightly so. Have u taken a minute at all to consider if those players really prefer us to other interested clubs? The club are trying to upgrade on what we have but if we can't get them in we should be fine with what we have already.

Transfer window is still 6 weeks away and you are psyching out like a "drama queen dicanio" of sorts. What's the matter? When did we not attract top talent? or managers? 15 years ago?

Quit that crap. Enjoy the cup, third place and the weather. Oh and the homecoming of Jose, I guess. What's the matter? Are we not strong enough? Do we not have the strongest young guns ready to break onto the scene + Hazard, Mata, Oscar, David Luiz, Ramires and all?

A good manager would make us a world beater with what we have + what we have got on loan.

We will bring in a young CB, a midfielder, will get Schurrle and another forward at all probability. A Markovic may happen also. Now why s*** your pants when quotes start flying? We'll be alright, don't stress.

JG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd be very happy with 4 players being bought as you suggested. My preference for a young cb would be Papadopoulos, I don't know a lot of good cm's that would fit in our team. Schurrle and Markovic coming would be good. If we need more depth at a certain position we just need to look at our players on loan

Hi Ed,
(Great Job you guys do!)
I realise you are constantly receiving questions on these guys but out of Cavani and Falcao who do you think is the closest or most likely to coming to Chelsea? {Ed002's Note - The closet right now is Falcao who is visiting friends in Northern Madrid.}

If we will buy Cavani or Lewadonski in the summer. what will Demba Ba do? Will he leave? Or just sit on the bench and wait for his time?

Hi ed, greetings!
There is a rumour in south Asian newspaper that neither of Cavani, Falcou, Lawendoski or any high profile rated forwards would sign for chelsea because chelsea are cutting their expenses on players wage. And says that chelseafc is looking over such center forward who is low is wage and bring back on loan players to squad like Lukaku and KDB.
If its true then who are those players chelseafc are currently scouting and likely to join Chelsea Football Club?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seems like a reliable sauce.

Jackson Martinez for the 'right' price. I personally feel Lukaku is ready. I expect both Ba and Torres to leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope neither leave until replacements have signed, and I feel lukaku needs at least another season on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mario Gomez

Agree0 Disagree0

Jackson Martinez will likely be priced out of a move. Personally I'd be happy with Gomez/Lewandowski/Higuain.

Hi ed what's going on with these strikers falcao not wanting to come cavani being offered to city, who will not turn that down. What we doing wrong now don't get me wrong if they don't want to play for Chelsea then they can't all 'jog on' but someone somewhere not doing there job my opinion we need one of them or even Rooney can't see that happening either

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are we interested in mario gomez. If it is mourinho who takes over as manager I think gomez is the type of strong physical player he likes to have up top.

Would love to see this team against City!

Blackman
Keane, Kalas, Ake, Van Anholt
Loftus-Cheek, McEachran
T. Hazard, Baker, Boga
Lukaku

Would put Chalobah in there but he's got a big game on Monday! (Com-on Watford)

I know most are not traveling but feel our first team now need to rest and would hate for a Mata/Hazard to get injured and mess up there pre-season!

Would love to see how far away our "kids" are, in breaking into the first team! {Ed018's Note - some of those players you listed did not travel}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Could you please list the "YOUTH" players that did travel ed018? I know Loftus-cheek did, any one else? Cheers in advance! {Ed018's Note - Blackman, Ake, Christensen along with Loftus-Cheek}

do u see rooney coming to chelsea the odds have been slashed on him to join I hope not he not as good as he use too be

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rooney is one of the best players, far better than Cavani or Falcao.

Agree0 Disagree0

Far better than Cavani and Falcao?! The problem has been Rooney's attitude and, of late, fitness. VBS

Ed002 with it looking like Falcao going to Monaco and Napoli'spresident confirming they are in talks with City for Cavani and it looking like Lewondowski joining Bayern who may other options be? Gomez Rooney Yilmaz? Arewe not in danger of settlling forsecond best? {Ed002's Note - Ok.}

Hi all that is Chelsea
Don't no about you Chelsea fans but I will be so disappointed if falcao moves to city am sorry but we tried of some year to get ageuro and they got him look how he turn out and now falcao so hope it doesn't happen. Saying that hope we also get cavani

I agree about Lukaku although he may need one or two more years. Same with the Belgian goalie at Atletico Madrid (forgot his name) on a side note what are Belgium doing right with all these great young players coming through?

Brisvegas Blue

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm sure they are playing football. Maybe learn the names of our players, especially the ones we all have high hopes for.

Agree0 Disagree0

They're playing great football that's the point. I was in the pub for a session and couldn't remember if his forename or surname started with t or c. So here it is numbnuts "Thibaut Courtois" another excellent Belgian player.

Brisvegasblue

Agree0 Disagree0

And why post uninformative posts and try to be a smart arse?
My side point was that a country with a population of 11-12million has started producing a young crop of exceptionally talented players. I'm originally from Scotland (and if you want to question the Chelsea connection you obviously do not know the history - have a look at the first few team sheets numbnuts. My great grandfather was there) and wondered why Scotland hasn't had any decent players for many years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha you arguing with yourself "numbnuts". If you expect decent replies don't post nonsense to start with.

Agree0 Disagree0

To answer your question maybe look into the grassroots and academy structure of Belgium vs Scotland youth football, might show you why Belgium are producing stars and Scotland not so much.

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually Scotland have a few bright talents coming through.

Our very own Feruz for one, and I heard the next prodigy from Madrid is Scottish!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hence the 'not so much'

Jose and Chelsea are a perfect match. If only he could stay for longer, say a decade at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

Beware of what you wish for. MARK MY WORDS Jose as much as I love him may just turn out to be a liability if results don't go his way and he spits the dummy out.

dave

i hope not because this guy is entertainment a bit like bollateli was at man city

Agree0 Disagree0

Why wouldn't you start worrying over something you may control. Saves up so much time and effort. Jose is the best fit for Chelsea. When he's here winning titles, come back with your worries.

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with first post, Chelsea needs long term manager and that is RA idea.

No way would roman except robbie di matteo back after he was sacked,. If anyone to come back I'd like Steve Clarke but his doing really well at west brom. Or Ray Wilkins who everyone loves. Reading article in the sun about how mourinho wants to do things at Chelsea is really really exciting but like I said that was from the sun and we all know how reliable they are, suggests that cavani is your most likely player with shurrle to arrive and other players needed and wanted are young CB and CM

Buying Bale, Ronaldo, Falcao, Fellaini, Khedira and Shaw. 200M+ minimum. Nevermind that Khedira is a CM. Marin is a winger. And Fellaini is a sh*t DM.
