As Ed002 said on Manchester site, they are going to bid for Vidal and the deal with Hummels can be done. That 2 deals can reached to 70 mil + the 58 mil thay have spent already. I will not mention other targets from Netherland team can be dragged to MU by Van gaal (such as De Vrij). I just wonder why they financial ability can be strong like that? With a full of experience board leader, they must be aware of FFP already. MU sure won't overspend their ability. Chelsea also spend, but we do sell a lot. And there are many players we have to give up ( cavani, falcao, pogba). Is it the big gap between Chelsea and MU albeit our success in the last decade?

MU have just done the biggest kit deal in history and anyway are one of the richest clubs in terms of revenue, much better of in both respects than PSG and City.

Man Utd earn roughly £120-140m more than Chelsea. The majority of that is to do with commercial income such as sponsorships, with Utd earning £153m in 2013 in comparison to Chelsea's £84m. They also have a bigger stadium and so their matchday revenue is roughly £30-40m more than us.
Once Utd have finished paying off their debts they'll have unrivalled spending power (if their owners don't pocket their profits)

Also in comparison Utd have something like 33 sponsorship deals to Chelsea's 19.

Why don't Chelsea get more sponsorship and advertisement. I think Chelsea can be as attractive as MU. We have characteristic coach, famous players and once a European Champion. Furthermore, in the last 10 years, we always be in the race even Premier League or C1.

Daton we are progressing with regards to the commercial side. 3/4 seasons ago we had practically no commercial income comparitively. Whilst we have become more well known in the last decade and have become more attractive we have nowhere near as much clout as Utd.
Last year we signed a new deal with Adidas which took our shirt sponsorship to 2nd highest in Europe. But Utd recently signed a new one with Adidas worth £75m a year, in comparison to ours which is worth £30m.
Not to mention that the Samsung deal increased to £16m but Utd''s Chevrolet deal is worth £50m.
We're progressing but we're still a good 5 years or so behind them. A couple of titles and another CL win could draw us closer to them.

Mourinho said last summer he was done signing players for Chelsea and we ended up signing Willian so don't be surprise if Mourinho has something else lined up

He signed Eto'o as well after Willian.
